Before: SMG nifty little fighter—converted martial artist with some bad habits for a boxer, but a good all around skill set—no power to speak of. Fishel the big woman by weight in this contest, expected to try to bully Gellar and wear her down over the distance.

Gellar in teal adidas terrycloth trunks, white sports bra, Dani in grey stretch cotton short shorts, teal bikini top.

During R1: Sarah rotating her shoulders, palms out, peeking with 2 and 3 jabs—the first jab usually the stinger, the next couple just pawing at Dani’s lip or chin while Gellar moves left. Dani bobbing, stepping to the right, throws right round punches to the body, looking to crank the hook upstairs to Gellar’s inviting, standing-up-straight chin. Sarah with shoe-shining arm punches down the stretch takes the round on activity.

R2: Dani’s body work pays off as spanking rights to the rib cage force Gellar to stop moving and cover up. Gellar with arms in tight, snaps off left hooks to the body and head, working Dani’s right side, but always returning to the tight guard position as Fishel bangs the arms of Gellar with churning fists this round. Dani using her shoulder well, keeps Sarah flat footed and right in front as the girls trade sharp hooks at close range.

R3: Dani dominating territorially for much of the round, cutting off the ring, again using the shoulder on Gellar and throwing hooks off it. Gellar puts together some sweet combinations in the final minute, showing some savvy to steal a round with late flurries.

R4: Sarah working up and down Dani’s right side with a nice, short left hook out of her guard position as Dani tries to counter with short right hands to the chest. Even slugging until the final minute when a bang-bang left hook, left uppercut from Gellar hurts Dani and a quick right hand on the mouth drops Fishel on the seat of her pants for a flash knockdown. Dani up quick and looking to fight, but she is immediately overwhelmed by a quick fisted flurry of rising lefts and rights thrown from the hip by Gellar. Round to SMG as she has Dani backing up at the bell.

R6: Sarah back to her patient work on the right side, digging left hooks to the lower body, swatting left hooks to the jaw. Dani standing her ground, chops a short right hand in between the guard of Sarah and continues to bat left hooks to the arms and shoulders of the blonde as Gellar’s tight defense holds. In the final minute, Sarah up tempos again, catching Dani flat footed, and quickly breaking down the brunette’s defense with 3 and 4 punch combinations. Flashing shoe shining combinations embarrass Dani late as she is cuffed and buffeted to the bell—but unhurt.

R7: Big Dani Fishel round. Resuming her upperbody movement, Dani bobs inside and bangs some big hooks off Sarah’s section to draw groans from the blonde early. Fishel’s fists flying—she works from the hips to the head with rapid fire lefts and rights, breaking Gellar down for the first time and scoring clean with the left hook on the jaw. Gellar stumbling a little bit as Dani beats her out of one defensive position after another, Rounds ends with Dani shoving Gellar against the topes with her left shoulder, and turning into tight right hands to the jaw for the shutout.

R8: More intense heat from Dani as she shuts down Gellar’s nice left hook with banging right on the chin. Showing her own quick fists, Dani continues to bang the flanks, working up to landing left hooks off the chin as Gellar gets beaten off stride on several occasions this round.

R9: Sarah using the pecking jab and some circular movement to try to slow Dani down, but Fishel walks through the blonde’s punches to body up after the first minute. Fishel using that rounded shoulder, butting Gellar in the chest and hitting as Sarah steps back to keep up steady pressure this round.

R10: Sarah shows some grit, standing her ground, chipping away with that short left hook in behind Dani’s elbow, and doubling it onto Dani’s chin. Dani laying in with Sarah, looking to load up, and finding herself getting outhustled down the stretch. Fishel comes alive in the final minute, punching with Gellar and pushing Sarah to the ropes, but she drops the round to a surprisingly SMG. Decision comes back an unpopular draw.

After: Sarah with her usual slick performance, gives Dani a work out, and a smattering of boos at the decision shows that many felt Gellar deserves the duke. Dani saved it down the stretch, winning most of the latter half, but never really rocked Sarah in the way she had hoped she could. SMG catching Dani on a down night, looked good as she has in some time.
