Before: Visser winless in the FCBA, but impressing onlookers with a relatively polished game--she continues with top notch comp: Estella Warren’s former welter champ. “I like that were both athletes first, gorgeous blonde celebrities second,” says Warren in preflight. “I know I’ll get rounds, shake some rust off and really get a workout against Visser. Nikki in tan leather bikini, Estella in taupe leather bikini.

During R1: Visser tentative, skirting the ring, using her legs and taking a look-see this round. Warren rangy, loping to cut off the ring, stout with her jab and extending on right hands. Estella’s timing a bit off on the cross--Visser able to turn to the left and get around it--Warren driving into air but nik not making her pay for it.

R2: Little bit more offense from Visser as she loosens up the jab, still legging to her left. Sharpshooting from long range0--both girls just testing the waters. Estella working in the hook to the ribs, putting the pieces of her 3 punch combo together this round.

R3: Visser more active--doubling up on the jab, edging in and hooking off the stick, doubling and tripling up as Warren covers, pivots off to the left. Nikki poking the left to Warren’s tanned belly, touching Warren in the mouth--artful ,educated jab this round has the curly-haired blonde backpedaling.

R4: Tactical stuff continues--girls looking to establish range, to be the boss midring, nothing to write home about until that final  minute. Girls touch rah other hard with jabs on the side of the jaw--Warren pitching in a whistling right hand catches Visser looking, Nikki doing a hurting pony-trot, trying to get herself together--Warren grinning, walking her girl down at the bell.

R5: Visser shakes off Warren’s power--gets back to boxing her this round. Easy step-and-poke, girls rotating clockwise, touching each other at long range. Nikki a little quicker mitted, darting her left, doubling up on it, gets the better of another tactical heat.

R6: Now it’s Warren’s turn to out-hustle, out-think her foe mid ring. Still mostly outside work--both girls opting to clinch for breaks rather than work when one or the other falls in. Warren spicy with the right cross, still missing it, but drawing a strapping left hook hard across Nik’s ribs to swipe the points in another close stanza.

R7: Estella’s been dialing in all night with it--she finally lands another driving right hand, catching chin just as Nik tries to turn to her left and Visser’s wobbly butt! Warren drawing gaps from the crowd as she steps in close, consolidates in Niki’s gut with a thumping left/right in the breadbasket--Nikki’s legs give a shimmy, then she hangs on for the break. Estella patient--jabbing her foe backwards, walking her down, throwing hard rights to the head, coming back beefy with the body shot hook. Good methodical work, stroking blows beat Visser in steady, groggy retreat around the ring--rousing series of lashing lefts and rights in a neutral corner have Niki’s legs ready to go--crowd on its feet at the bell. Warren smug, chesting up and not letting Nikki pass until referee intervention.

R8: Visser showing Outback toughness--once again shaking off warren’s shellac, finding her legs and outboxing Estella mid ring. Spicy left hand work from Visser--jabs to body and head, quick step back as Warren looks to counter with the right. Visser getting a saucy, cuffing counter hook on the temple on an over-eager Warren this round.

R9:” Even cagy stuff-=-mid ring, long range--girls head-faking each other, swivel-stepping left, jabbing--smoldering eye contact throughout as neither wants to make a mistake. Once again, Warren’s big right hand breaks up the stalemate--she’s able to screen the cross with the jab, drive through to chin and buckle Visser’s strong legs. Nikki spilling into the ropes covering up high--Warren squaring away to belt flanks baseball bat strokes at the bell.

R10: Visser out with that nice, piercing jab, hooking off it to step left--she’s lumping up Warren’s face with defiant, insistent boxing., Midway through, Estella hooks with Nik and hurts her--Visser awkwardly back as Warren jabs her forehead and Estella leans ino another shattering right to the chin. VISSER GOES DOWN! Nik lifted off her feet and oput rudely to her backside at the ropes--she stares back stunned as Estella lords it over her, glaring, nodding fiercely. All Estella afterwards--relentless pursuit of Nikki’s chin as the Aussie worn down at last. Visser covered up, stooped forward off the ropes, soaks up a dreadful pounding to her ribs and flanks as Estella gets big, straps ‘em in to the bell,. Comes back UD10 Estella Warren.

After: Warren giving props to Nik for some world class chin tonight. “I’ve put the best on their backs with the right hands I was hitting Nikki with,” says Estella. “She takes it like a mule,” Visser banged up, dropped, but unbowed--if her confidence isn’t destroyed by being in with the very cream of the sport in these early bouts, she’ll only get better for the experience.
