Before: Amy Jo a poor man's Kelly Packard, slick technician with good defense, but not enough pop to hurt Fishel. Confidence builder for Dani following second round whack-out loss to Liu, but Johnson with skills to give Fishel some rounds. Red jockey cotton two piece for Amy Jo, teal for Dani.

During R1: Amy Jo shows her class this round, retreating as Dani surges forward, and effectively blunting the brunette's charge with lateral movement. Amy Jo sweet with her hands, pats at Dani's face with lead rights, slaps her cheek with left hooks, and bobs underneath Dani's churning hooks in response. After diffusing Fishel's attack, Amy Jo actually goes forehead to forehead, stepping to the right and beating Fishel to the punch inside with pitty-pat combinations. Fishel seems more annoyed than hurt as Amy dabs at her tummy and arms with the left hook, but a beautifully timed right uppercut catches Fishel perfectly, dropping her onto the seat of her panties with a shocked expression. Fishel bounces right up, but drops a 10-8 round to start the fight.

R2: Tenacious Amy Jo stays with her game plan, moving early, boxing, then working Dani at close range, beating the heavier puncher inside with angles and smarts. Fishel just can't seem to line the elusive brunette up, and Amy is discouraging Dani early with the misses.

R3: OH AMY! Amy up tempos to start the round, fooling Dani by stepping right in to land a crashing lead right on Dani's left eye. Fishel stunned, covering up, takes those patting left hooks all across her tanned belly as Amy Jo breaks her down. Fishel backing up for the first time in the fight, looking pouty as Johnson overwhelms her with sheer work rate.

R4: Amy back to retreating, using the every inch of the ring to absorb Dani's rushes, then calmly chopping away from the outside, ending the round once again on Dani's shoulder, digging at the firm body beneath. Fishel looks like a woman covered in ants, and has lost every round to this point.

R5: Bad break in composure for Dani, who nearly loses it in her corner before the round begins. She comes out clearly distraught, and Amy Jo pounces, using the curling overhand right to pound Dani's left eye shut, then coming back with rising left hooks into Fishel's belly mound. Dani hands out, eyes closed, takes swatting punches on her head and shoulders as Amy Jo swarms, banking another shutout round, and burying Fishel beneath an avalanche of points.

R6: Cue comeback. Dani calms down, cuts off the ring for the first time in the fight, and lands a heavy left hook on Amy Jo's jaw early, forcing the little brunette to come inside and take her chances. Dani much busier now, digging to Amy's liver with left hook, and curling a short right uppercut to the toothy brunette's mouth. Amy buckling on several occasions, nevertheless guts it out, dropping her first round as Dani gets it going.

R7: Good two way action round as Dani scores early with looping left hands, once again convincing Amy to come inside. Johnson piles up points midway through with her quick hands taking apart Dani's defense, but in the final minute, Fishel bodies up, walking Amy to the ropes, and gets good leverage on left hooks to the trunk line that have Johnson wincing in pain.

R8: All Dani Fishel as her body shots rob Amy of the use of legs. Toe to toe, Fishel asserts herself, hammering her heavy fists off Amy's forehead and shoulders as the smaller girl retreats. On the ropes, Dani digs left hooks from a wide stance directly in front of Amy, beating the brunette down and shoving her back for more abuse as Johnson folds forward.

R9: Amy getting glassy eyed as Dani continue to harm her little body. Fishel ripping the left hook, turning her torso into the punch and lifting Johnson onto her toes. The mobile Amy is long gone, and the constant pounding on her body and arms has left her pushing and slapping her punches. Amy cheek to cheek with Dani, takes a brutal pounding down the stretch, as Fishel pulls out to deliver tight right hands on the jaw to compliment the left hook downstairs.

R10: Dani senses the weakness of her prey, and surges forward as Amy folds to the ropes. Fishel from her wide stance, pushing in with her shoulder, then pulling out to club vicious one-twos into the brunette's abs. Amy just trying to survive, bending at the waist, face stretched in pain. Johnson out over her legs, is subjected to clubbing blows to her lower back, and takes a knee as the ref pushes Dani back. Sucking it up, Amy Jo stands, and cringes up as Dani burrows in, pounding in a blurring arc, lefts and rights to Johnson's flanks. With under a minute to go, Dani practically fighting inside Amy's trunks, ripping short rights and lefts to the body and jaw of Johnson, and JOHNSON GOES DOWN!!! Amy Joe wobbles to all fours, and somehow beats the count. Dani wades in as Amy wants no more, stumbling away with a sick look of pain, and the bell sounds to end the fight. After 15 minutes of tallying, the 10-7 10th gives Dani a stirring 1 point victory margin.

After: Fishel shows a flair for the dramatic, coming all the way back to steal this fight from a game, but outgunned Amy Jo. Fishel's confidence obviously hurt by the Liu loss, caused her to start slow, but she warmed to the task of beating on Amy and gets it done in what many boxing insiders are calling her finest performance to date.
