Before: Christensen stepping in as Jerry Quarry to Dani's Frazier - Fishel a prodigious favourite coming in. "I think I've got the strength to back Dani up," Erika says straight faced. "I do. I've had Alison Mack in camp for 4 weeks and she's been working me like hell - if I can hold my own with Ali, I KNOW I can handle Dani!"

Fishel having a good chuckle as Christensen unveils plans to bully and boss her foe - but Dani gracious enough at the podium. "What I like about Erika is her size - she's Neve-Campbell big and you have to respect that at 120, but honestly? This kid shouldn't be debuting against me. Love the moxie - really - but when you position yourself as a Dani-buster, there's only one way to go (points to floor with a mischievious smirk)."

Dani in sporty navy bandeau bikini, large baby blue polka dots - white shoes and heavy rolled down socks for a ballistic look - Christensen's bikini top: diagonal bars of pastel blues, pinks, mauves - bottoms thick boy cut navy trunks, white shoes and heavy socks rolled down. Fishel grinning, pounding down on Erika's gloves to touch 'em up, ponytail swinging wildly as Fishel can't wait to get punching.

During R1: Christensen meets Dani midring, gets steadily bumped and slugged back to ropes. Fishel: bobbing at the waist, hands jerky - right palm bunting Erika in the chest, left shoulder/extended elbow propping Erika, positioning her. D getting low, wedging her shoulder into Erika's chest and muscling bigger girl upright - sets up withering hooks to midsection as Fishel gets up in there hard. Hooks splattering off Erika's right shoulder and rightside ribs - Christensen grimacing, hard pressed early. Erika fighting back off her heels, can't get her butt off the ropes: Alison Mack's screeching voice audible from ringside - "UPPERCUT! UPPERCUT!"

R2: Erika meets Dani midring, once again can't hold her ground - Dani bumping, bodying, slugging her foe in stages to ropes, squaring away to get work done. Fishel out of that energetic bob - hooking and bobbing, rotating the torso down low and coming up sudden with sock. Erika's jaw clenched, arms crossed - she's bending her knees, arching her back to hook Dani's body, then getting pancaked into ropes as Fishel exerts her strength. Minute mark - two thudding hooks in Erika's middle have her in a bad way - she droops, gasping: Dani picks her up the left uppercut and ERIKA GOES DOWN! Christensen wilting into the ropes then sinking to her knees - she's dazed, shaking her head on all fours as Fishel skips to neutral corner. Woozy 8 Erika - ON COMES DANI! Fishel pouring herself at Christensen - palming up under her armpits to stack the taller beauty, then ripping her hooks to ribs and tum. Dani deploying a wide right hand in above the hip, then shoving Erika upright by the chest - good beefy stuff, Dani treating Christensen shabby. Erika damaged goods, but trying hard - working to get her shoulder underneath and lever Dani back, hook her midsection. Fishel pushed back a step at times, but Dani roars right back in to fight off chest. 10 second mark - Dani opens up on Erika's pleasing jugs with gusto - pounding away to bikini top rising rights and lefts with bone-jarring force. Erika open-mouthed in shock at the bell - for a couple moments she tilts forward behind her guard, still mindlessly protecting herself while Dani's half way across the ring.

R3: All Dani Fishel - same grinding, methodical beatdown being shellacked onto a willing Erika C. Christensen can't come forward, can't get her back off the ropes and isn't answering back much: all she can do, and well, is suffer. Fishel an equal-opportunity abuser: pounding biceps, chest, skull, flanks and waist with appalling glee. Wriggling in underneath, Fishel takes pleasure in bulling Christensen back, draping her in the ropes, handling the bigger girl's weight with muscular ease. Erika's mind wandering as punishment adds up - she's just drooping forward, letting Dani reef her sides with multiple lefts or repeat rights - Fishel punching so hard, on foot or the other often comes off the canvas as she sinks her fists into Erika's sturdy frame. Bell: shutout Dani - she turns abruptly, drawing a saucy ponytail across Erika's distraught, open-mouthed face.

R4: Dani right back in - can't wipe the grin off her face as she starts putting together a beating of the year type fight on Christensen. Poor Erika sitting in the ropes, listing to port or starboard as the punches buffett her. She'll put her face in her gloves, only to suffer thudding torture amidships. She'll cross arms to protect her ribs only to her get her skull bounced. She'll try to tie up only to be hurled back and bullied. Finally, she's try to slug - edging her shoulder in under Dani, levering her, and hooking her - it's the only thing that works, but it's getting answered - and answered, with vigor.

R5: Fishel storms in, bumps and slugs and mauls her girl to ropes, gets back to chest...and Erika starts scoring. Christensen right under her chin, left across her body - bumping hard with Dani inside - both girls trying to bull the other back with a shoulder in the chest, then catch her beefy, hooks or right hands. Erika bending her knees and getting into Dani's waistline, then as Dani surges forward, she's picking Fishel up good left uppercuts. Dani's output dropping - she's leaning forward, head on Erika's chest, dukes at her ears - Christensen able to dip n' shrug uppercuts, checking Dani's chin, then levering her back a shoulder to hook her ribs. Fishel too stubborn to back off, but she's shipping solid punishment, struggling to get back to Erika's chest only to be outpunched. Crowd loving the trade as Dani splatters back to biceps and chest in spots - she still won't let Erika off the ropes despite the Christensen rally.

R6: Dani inexorably forward - her back hasn't touched ropes once tonight - Christensen straining and pushing into Dani with all her might, just trying to stack her up, but to no avail. Dani back in there snug - hooking, bumping, bobbing: Christensen answering with valour - uppercuts, hooks, shoulders. Down the stretch, Erika clips Dani a perfect short right uppercut - FISHEL GOES WOBBLY BUTT! Dani momentarily lock-legged - Erika reaches under the arms and wrestles Fishel into the ropes, swamping her. Nice move Christensen: left hand reaches immediately to push Dani's right bicep back, clearing the road for a robust right uppercut on the chin. Head-swivel Dani - she skids along ropes glassy-eyed - Erika shuffling over to stay in position, right hand cocked at her chest. Clubbing right cross in tight Christensen - she reloads, still pushing Dani's right arm back with the left and BUSTS that hateful right uppercut home. Alison Mack up out of her seat and jumping as ERIKA POURS IT TO DANI! Right cross, right uppercut, right cross, right uppercut - it's holding and hitting but it's also brutally effective AND THE REF STEPS IN! Good Lord - TKO6 Erika Christensen!

After: You have to go back to Carteris, or even that Alyssa Milano floating rib shot KO to see an upset this big on Dani's resume - it's a fight that will definitely go on TE's closely guarded tape of shame. Woozy Dani looking up at the ref, stomping her foot, sending tired tremors across her still-tingling backside - there's no WAY that fight should have been stopped. Alison Mack whooping it up, bounces over to Dani, takes a handful of bandeau, tugs Fishel-to and shouts "SWEET!" into Dani's face. Erika disentangling the two and ushering Mack back, saying "Hey c'mon - that's Dani Fishel - lay off" out of sheer respect for the battered bantam legend. "I can't tell you how thrilled I am," a puffy yet overjoyed Erika says in postfight. "To pound out Dani Fishel - DANI FISHEL - I just can't believe it. She was so strong early, but I have to give Alison credit - she said Fishel's stamina and heart are questionable, so I knew I just had to hang in there. She also preached uppercuts in camp and that was so key - I stung Dani, then pounced - just like we drew it up!" Dani distraught - been a while since we've seen her take a loss this hard - she could NOT have been more dominant up until the freak stoppage.
