Before: Rosario chinny in a debut performance against admittedly hammer-handed Jenny O'Dell - redemption on tap against a like-minded big hitting, china-chinned chin-checker in Carey. "I'll take Mariah's punch," Dawson promises, answering skeptics, "and that'll be the beginning of the end for her."

Resurgent Mariah looking to ramp up the fights in support of a surprising comeback out of the ring - buxom blonde best known for temporarily rendering Rebeccah Romjin hors d' combat - she's anxious to start doling out right hands again. "If Jenny could hurt Rosario - I will too," Mariah reasons. "Dawson won't finish this fight."

Mariah in black cropped peasant top, bare midriff, black high waisted trunks with white polka dots (see recent magazine cover) - Dawson in western motif tan hide bikini.

During R1: Wild swinging first minute - both chins grazed - Dawson straighter, more educated, trying to lance in behind her jab while Carey's just turning on wide looping wallops from the hip. So much for schooling: midway through, Carey connects on a brazen right over Dawson's left hand, pounding Rosario behind the ear and buckling her knees - Carey forward with a robust walking barrage of lefts and rights to drive Rosario ropeside. Mariah teeth-bared, belting away - she's swinging lusty from the waist, pulling hateful leather up and around to bash Dawson upside either side her head. Rosario skidding stupid along ropes, knees locking up, feet stamping for balance - Carey just shoving her upright and shellacking - DAWSON GOES DOWN! Rosario bludgeoned to her back, left forearm draped across her eyes, chest rising and falling in stunned, shivering cadence - Carey screeching in triumph, hands high as she struts the ring. Dawson's conditioning lets her beat the count: she's ragdoll, staring, swaying in the wind - Mariah wades in to finish. Carey strapping it on thick - turning her torso into whistling side to side harm - missing over the top as Dawson groggily ducks down, but landing plenty as well. Haphazard beatdown sends Rosario to her corner in a staggering fog - Carey breathing hard, but excited in her corner as she leaves Rosario HURTING!

R2: Rosario still not together, but dukes're up, chin's tucked - she's stepping gingerly to her right to prevent Mariah from setting her feet. Carey hopping, dukes at waist height - she's just looking to step, lean, and haul sweeping leather onto Rosario. Dawson unable to hold her canvas as Mariah's still punching with too much heat - but Rosario able to pot her jab, pre-empt and bother Mariah some - Dawson doing a nice job circling, making Carey miss in forfeiting the round while recovering her legs.

R3: Dawson recuperating now - eyes brighter, jab snappier, legs more decisive as she steps to spots with purpose. Carey getting busted up that ramrod straight stick - Dawson not showing it much against O'Dell due to the early power surge she had in that fight, but it's serving her well against Carey. Midway through, Rosario lights Mariah up a dazzling one-two - Carey stepping in fence post holes, covering up earmuff - Dawson selects the right punch (uppercut) to take advantage of Carey's forward tilt. Mariah showing spirit - shipping shellack, but standing - Dawson mops up over the hips with meanspirited batting lefts and rights at the bell.

R4: Conqueror's smirk, aggressive batting of gloves as Rosario stands up off her stool, wades across ring to finish reeling Carey. Mariah groggy, dukes loose at her temples - Dawson's first one-two hammers Carey sideways, legs threatening to give. Rosario with a stepping bombardment - batting straight arm shots to flanks, smiling broadly and DAWSON GOES DOWN! Carey desperate, stepping back under pressure, then bending all-in with that crashing right hand - flush impact upside the head smacks Dawson around and down to her chest like she's about to start doing pushups. Rosario grimacing, left leg bending - hips gulping at canvas for a few moments as she struggles to rise - finally beating the count, swaying at the ropes. ON COMES MARIAH! Grim, tottering attack - Mariah stumbling in, setting shaky legs and going at the dregs of Rosario: wide slapping lefts setting up heroic rights and DAWSON'S GOBBLING WALLOP! Rosario just getting tagged stupid, hands at her waist as she sags into ropes then DAWSON STARTS SLUGGING! Straight-punching, professional form gone - Dawson just brawling on instinct, reptilian brain taking over as the rest of her brain has been effectively KO'd. Carey soaking up bombs now - Rosario stiff legged and shabby off the ropes, but belting rising rights and lefts against Mariah's chin - THERE GO CAREY'S LEGS! Mariah storking around in fence post holes, reaching to clinch - Dawson staggering to her right to keep a little distance, swinging tomohawk rights over Mariah's left shoulder, clawing the left hook across Carey's heaving bosom and MARIAH GOES DOWN! Seconds left - Mariah battered to all fours - she's mumbling, blubbering wreck and IT'S OVER! Shattering KO4 leaves both beauties in tatters, but Dawson ragged AND standing.

After: Dawson exhausted, reeling in postfight - she's helped from the ring as poor Carey's still getting smelling salts. Rosario sleek and deadly when fresh, but not moving her head much when she's getting off: Dawson totally preoccupied with hurting her opponents on offense - no head movement, no anticipation when she's putting those pretty punches together. Carey battered by a stronger vixen, but showing moxie - the old Mariah probably calls it a night in the third round.
