Before: Girls face to face for photo-ops: Sophia slaps Hayden's cheek - brawl ensues. Promoter speaking at the podium - Hayden standing, gesturing, shouting at Sophia across the dais: Bush off her chair - brawl ensues. "Everyone's gonna call her 'hurtin' Hayden' when I'm done," quips a cocky Sophia B when she does get a chance to speak. "I'll knock her out, then spank her overated butt if I get the chance: this girl's a tramp!" Panettiere scowling throughout - pressure of being everybody's target starting to get to usually upbeat blonde. Every scuffle so far usually sees Vanessa Hudgens banking cheap shots while Bush takes point. "Sophia's just another hater," Hayden explains - for anyone that might be misinterpreting Bush's behaviour. "Before I came in the picture - nobody cared about what Sophia was doing. Put me with her, and she gets noticed. That's why she's being such a hateful cow to me, because..." brawl ensues - Bush obviously putting a pretty strict word-count on Hayden's podium time. Bright teal bra top, brown bikini bottoms, Bush - small white mitts. Hayden in fighting red, pink, white horizontal bikini attire. Ref actually takes both girls by respective wrists and touches gloves for them.

During R1: HELLO: PUNCHING! Sophia eyes wide, back straight: she's jamming in straight lefts and rights - palms down - punching Hayden on her face with a jagged, rapid delivery. Panny banging back, swinging hard side to side lefts and rights, biting the punches off sharp to keep the delivery from getting sloppy: good tight stuff from both girls as li'l vixens batter each other at the stagger. Blistering back and forth for minute one: minute two, Bush doubles up that jamming right, catching Hayden stiffly on her mouth - blonde stumbles aside, rattled. Sophia's eyes alight: she pounces in a slightly hooked palm-down left - punching Hayden's head back; cracks her another stubby right: HAYDEN GOES DOWN! Stumbly-drop for Hayden to all fours - she's back up quick, split lip, eyes blinking. Sophia cackling, pouring it to Hayden: brunette wades in with that same ratchetting attack - punching Hayden again and again on her face as little blonde lifts her mitts to ward off punishment. Not working: Sophia pouring through with pure vigour and volume - pasting Hayden, then walking her down as blonde stumbles to her right at ropes. Bush on Panettiere to bell: Sophia's jamming barraged leaving Hayden panting, stunned in a wild first.

R2: CLAMBAKE! Panettiere completely ignoring her corner's advice - electing to wade-and-trade with her feisty foe. Crowd the big beneficiary - this is just two feisty little jigglers trying to plant and jam away. When one girl is buffetted off balance - other girl hops her down, gives her no respite - one or the other is constantly on the attack. Sophia hustling leather onto Hayden like it's a race - jamming, straight, palms-down lefts and rights pounding and scraping against Panny's face and chest. Panettiere showing the same look early - but by the middle minute she's at least TRYING to think in there - using her hands to block, stepping out to get Sophia falling forward. Hayden timing her shots to good effect - catching Sophia robust swinging rights and lefts side-side. Down the stretch - Bush walks into a right flush to her jaw: while she's hopping forward hurt, Panettiere switches her tight little body into a vicious hook - DROPPING SOPHIA TO HER BACK. Sickening, sudden head-snap, Bush - she drops straight down, reclines back, eyelashes fluttering as bell sounds to save her.

R3: Pace slowing just a tad - but both girls are taking that extra half second to set down on punches and throw harder rather than brisker. TORRID clouts exchanged - both girls sent baby-stepping sideways when touched - but they rally immediately, and answer in kind. Bush has been liberally applying leather to the problem of Hayden's face: brunette starting to dip and sweep roundhouses to Panettiere's sturdy torso. Hayden still sideswiping, busting Sophia upside her head - but Panny looking to the midsection with short, digging hooks as well. Down the stretch - girls trade rights; girls trade hooks and PANETTIERE SWOONS TO CANVAS! Glorious head swivel as Bush catches Hayden sweet - brunette yelping with pleasure as she hops back - giving Panny space to clatter to all fours. Bell saves Hayden as her corner rushes to prop her up - Bush taunting shrilly en route to her stool.

R4: Hayden calmer, more effective - shows a bit more of her game as Bush starts to misfire. Panny spitting the jab -pre-empting Bush's business - Hayden able to engage when she wants, disengage as it suits her. HP placing firm right hands - scoring lustily to jaw: Sophia showing chin and then some - jolted, but standing her ground. Hayden sidestepping, working in and out - Sophia not able to ratchet away on a stationary target directly in front of her. Hayden's comfiest round: Bush starting to lump up nicely through 4.

R5: Hayden spittin' that stubby jab - Bush clearly vexed - hands up trying to ward off blows - weight tilting backward: RIGHT HAND, HAYDEN PANETTIERE! Sophia's head jolting on impact - legs stiffening as she continues to topple backward - BUSH GOES DOWN! Sophia shaking off the KO, rolling gingerly over her right hip - lower lip huffing and puffing in and out as panic sets in. Hayden brightening - feeling in control at last: she's perky in neutral corner, champing at the bit. Weepy 8, Sophia B: brunette digs in, dukes at temples, teeth gritted as Hayden pours in frisky. Healthy, non-stop pummelling - little Hayden all eyes-wide, belting away from a wide stance. Bush walloped and buffetted - dipping down, leaning back into ropes, trying to ride this out. Bell: Hayden chests up, bleating triumphantly in Sophia's face - battered Bush sobbing out "STOP IT!", pushing Hayden - bringing ref in quick.

R6: Bush punching that jamming right hand over Hayden's left - repeat, stubby business getting done on Panettiere's face, backing her up. Sophia being rough with Hayden: brunette steps on Hayden's foot, tripping her - drawing a huge crowd over-reaction as it looks like Panny stumbling from punishment; Sophia in with head and shoulders - bumping and butting - drawing warnings; Sophia working the body, then pushing off tuff with her elbow - more warnings. Hayden unable to come forward - fights a good deal of the round under pressure at ropes: Bush rights the ship, stays on her girl, hogs the points in the sixth.

R7: Both girls taking liberties - after a clinch leads to a Panettiere side headlock on Sophia, ref pulls 'em apart, gives 'em a good shake. Sophia beating Hayden to punches outside with those jamming volleys of straight, palms-down lefts and rights: Panny facing into too much of this, forced to turn her head and back away. Bush coming forward, doing well: advancing is a tactical key for both girls - both know it. Ugly at times - alot of mauling at the ropes as girls muscle and embrace each other - Bush the aggressor, making sure she's on top most of the time. Bell - Sophia worrying at Hayden's breasts with a rubbing left hand while clinching - Panny shouting for Sophia to "GET OFF!"

R8: Less clinching/mauling - more hup-hup punching as girls resume hectic pace of the early rounds. Panny with more variety, better (ie: SOME) footwork - she's changing distance, coming off angles, chipping away with her jab to set up the bang and clang at closer ranges. Sophia constantly pre-empted - getting her face punched: she frequently has to eat a jab, a right hand, a clubbing left hook and maybe even another left hook before busting Hayden stubby in return. Panettiere able to come forward - distributing her punches between head and body - giving Sophia a nice going-over in the 8th.

R9: JAILBREAK! Sophia catches a second wind - she's got Panettiere backing up all over the ring. Hayden overwhelmed - head turned to the side as she lifts mitts to block shots - but Sophia's pouring through. Bush baring clenched teeth - stamping her fists palm-down into Hayden's face and chest: as blonde backpedals - brunette steps-with, constantly punching. Full collapse for Hayden down the stretch: 1.) She sitting in ropes - twisted to her right and bent forward as Bush POUNDS away a steady tattooing of right hands; Panny's beaten to her knees. 2.) Hayden electing to wade forward despite being hurt - she eats a chopping right, a biting left tic-toc onna jaw; Panny sprawls to her back, all but out at the bell. During the break, Hayden crying hysterically, hyperventilating: corner soothing her, calming her down - getting her to focus on a must-have-big tenth.

R10: OH THEY BANG AWAY! Hayden channelling her panic into raw output; Sophia meeting her punch for punch as girls take turns backing each other up under volley fire. Faces worn raw by blunt impact and scraping near-misses; chests buffetted and stamped. Hayden desperate to knock Sophia down takes outrageous chances, lunging in wide open in an effort to stop her tormentress. Bush busted up, but answering every punch as girls glance off each other, stagger, regroup and pounce again. When they fall in, neither clinches: heads tuck in close, fists hustle back and forth; lips purse with the hard work out gut-punching the other little vixen senseless. Down the stretch, they're neck and neck - each just laying in mouth-on-shoulder, trying to get the offending tummy and legs to quit. Comes back UD10 - Sophia Bush!

After: Hayden bursting into the tears of an 18 year old - giving her all tonight and coming up short hurrrrts. Upset minded Sophia bouncing around giddy - hugging fellow Hayden Hater Vanessa Hudgens - then getting into Hayden's face to pour salt onto the open wound as Hudgens looks on with glee. Fresh swinging results as Panettiere won't be taunted - brawl ensues. "I TOTALLY exposed Hayden Panettiere tonight," boasts a scuffed up, but exultant Sophia Bush. "I've said all along I was going to upset her and I did. I outworked Hayden, I out hit her - I did all the stuff she's supposed to do, and I took this fight away from her. I WISH I could have stopped her - that's the only thing. But I battered her and that's all that counts!" Panettiere distraught - already facing criticism that she may have let Hudgens and others distract her from the fight at hand. One look at the crowd as Panettiere stomps away from the ring tells you what she's facing: Rachel Stevens glorying in it, beaming happily; Reese Witherspoon looking snooty-satisfied; Bev Mitchell happily reporting the result on cell phone; Mish Williams telling everyone "I told you so"; Lohan laughing so hard, beer comes out her nose; Jessica Simpson clapping big - grinning; Ditto Ricci and Chabert and Milano. On and on - every flyweight in the place jeering Panettiere - Very little love for Hayden as her defeat seems to boost an entire division.
