Before: Delany continuing to make friends and influence people finds herself in front of another highly motivated girl tonight. Lane looking to capitalize ion a great outing against Charlotte Ross--win here puts her in the ring against Gillian Anderson for the title, Dana loves the spoiler role, relishes the opportunity to both beat Diana and take something precious away from her. Pink bra and panties for Dana, light blue for Diane, short ponytail.

R1: lane smothered in a messy clinch as Dana bodies up, walks her girl to the ropes. Delany with her arms loose around lane’s hips, head on lane’s chest, controlling the opponent’s waist and laying on the weight. Lane pouting, struggling to wrestle her way off the ropes, but Dana keeping her pinned. When Delany punches, it’s all between the hip bones, more often than not straying low--Diane jerking and spasming as Dana works her over downstairs. At the bell, an outraged Diane Lane whines to the ref about the holding, the low blows and grappling as Delany smirks in her corner.

R2: Diane poking out the jab, tries to keep Dana away, but a smashing left hook on the teeth drops Lane to her butt to open the round as Delany throws the change up. Wobbly, Lane rises at 8, and once again gets bundled to the ropes. Dana laying on, smiling, grinding her face against Diane’s cheeks or upper chest as the smothering, holding and hitting brawl takes its toll. Dana getting low, uses her shoulder to nudge Lane back, then digs in the short left hook to the liver--Lane going limp, and finally Diane takes a knee with a glassy look in her eyes. After 8, Dana walks back in, timing Lane’s don’t-hurt-me jab with another bashing hook in the mouth, the diving in with a crashing right hand on the face as Lane begins to swoon, lock legged against the ropes. Lane out on her feet, hands pushing pathetically in front, and Dana steps it up, chugging away with side to side lefts and rights--Lane getting pounded senseless as ringsiders scream for the fight to be stopped. Finally, a vicious left/right across the face switches Lane off and she crashes to the canvas as Dana smiles in triumph. Delany drops to all fours t get a closer look, staring in fascinated cruelty at the sleeping brunette until the ref bundles her away. KO2 Dana D.

After: Lane shellshocked, taken out of her game by Delany’s cloying tactics early, then pounded out as Dana took advantage of the first KO opportunity. Delany relishing interviews, happy to recount every whimper and sob emitted by lane during the brief affair. Humiliating dismissal for Diane takes a lot of air out of the balloon--Anderson reportedly stepping away from the table.,
