Before: O’Dell gaining momentum, comes into the bout with a stunning KO over Dana Delany and garners a lot of the press attention as a results. Jenny a little bigger, a better overall athlete, but Williams with an experience edge looks to minimize those advantages with a crowding attack. Pre-fight conferences consist of Michelle badgering jenny, daring her to go body to body, getting inside the head of her opponent like a veteran should, Jenny in light blue sports bra, white adidas terry cloth trunks, Michelle in red sports bra, white adidas trunks

During R1: Psyche job works early as O’Dell throws away height and mobility edge to work cheek to cheek with Williams. Michelle shortening up her strokes, skids her fists across Jenny’s firm middle, hooks an arm to walk her girl off balance, and dishes out a chest to chest beating this round. Michelle finishing the round scrubbing her opponent against the roes, pushes off Jenny at the bell with more than a little ‘tude as she bounces back to her corner.

R2: Michelle posting another withering shutout--O’Dell laying in, getting eaten up by the more efficient punching blonde, and outfoxed inside. Williams palming up on the other girl’s hips, then stepping in to reef hooks to the belly--Jenny just soaking it up and looking woozy. Round ends as Michelle hands out Frazieresque body clubbing to Jenny, pushing off and torquing into hooks to the body that seem to have Jenny hurt. Sunny Michelle Williams all smiles after 6 straight minutes of her ladling on the hurt.

R3: O’Dell finally gets off, catching Michelle easily wit the rising right hand as Williams looks to get inside. Michelle toughing it out, walks through it, and by the midway point is back on her girl, using her palms and forearms to shove Jenny back, then stepping in to the thudding hook to the belly. O’Dell ashen-faced, sinks to a seat on the ropes once more as Michelle piles on. Williams with her head on O’Dell’s chest, CUDGELLING he blonde cutey to the waistline, and accumulations proves too much. O’Dell sinking to her knees looks battered and can’t continue. After: A lot of disappointed bettors get mugged on this one, with the over-under posted at 8. Williams just fighting her fight, had O’Dell in front of her all night--no contest inside. Stupid fight by Jenny part of the learning curve--she had the legs and ability to take it outside, but clearly bought into all the body machisma rhetoric in pre-fight. Best win for Williams in some time--surprisingly dominant performance.
