2. Suzy Bae vs Park Shin Hye (Bantamweight)

BEFORE:
Next up are two actresses who are big names in the K-drama industry, with both ladies having appeared in countless television dramas and movies.

Suzy comes out first, pink sports bra and white boxing trunks. Her hair is tied back into a neat ponytail as she stretches in a corner. Her opponent tonight is Park Shin Hye, who’s had a legendary career in front of the cameras, now hoping to replicate the same success inside the ring. She enters the gym pumping her fists, wearing a blue sports bra and white bikini bottoms.

Shin Hye smirks as the two meet in the center of the ring, whilst Suzy has a serious glare on her face. Referee rings the bell and HERE we go with ten rounds of Bantamweight action!

ROUND 1:
Both ladies are almost the same height and built, but Shin Hye naturally a little leaner and loose, scooting about the ring and flicking jabs at Suzy. Suzy moving a little slower, more focused with arms locked over the head. She takes a couple of jabs to the arms before retaliating with heavier swings towards Park, which don’t always land clean. Park growing in confidence after she clips Suzy on the chin by a jab combo that sails through her defences, disorientes her long enough to stun her in place. Suzy groans as her body’s beaten on, Park shoving gloves in until Suzy covers up as scrams, and the rest of the round has the younger woman trying to keep her distance.

ROUND 2:
Suzy rocks Park on the face early! Shin Hye overconfident as she sallied in prior, back to hounding her with jabs but doesn’t realise Suzy was drawing her in to slap leather into her cheek with a grunt. Shin Hye doesn’t register what’s going until she takes another hit to the mouth, goes stumbling to the side with a grunt. Suzy’s turn to counterattack as she surges forward, pounding the guard with more jabs till the two ladies reset at opposite ends of the ring. Round 2 sees the points even out as the two beauties set each other with steely glares, goading each other to try something new.

ROUND 3:
Park received the message loud and clear, currently staying at range and fending Suzy off with jabs. Suzy tries to avoid and wade in still, gets caught repeatedly on the cheek as she tries to get in close to batter and bruise. But Park keeps sticking her fist into the younger woman’s pretty cheek, making her grunt out loud for the third time before Suzy hangs back. Park smirking behind her closed guard, taunting her opponent to bring it on. Some personality between these two as Suzy glares back, vows to pay her back in the following rounds, and then some.

ROUND 4:
Slow first minute as both ladies circle and jab, similar to the very first round as they play it cautious, with Park trying to repeat her earlier success but finding that her counterpart has the same reach as her, plus a little extra power to each bite. Suzy scores with a left hand feint and then ramming her right glove into the face, making Park grunt out loud as she’s pushed backwards, now the one struggling to maintain her focus. Suzy with a steady advance, slapping hard shots into the arms as she throws Park into disarray. Shin Hye gets trapped on the ropes and has to suffer a tummy bashing, Suzy crowding in and shoving her gloves into the body till the bell rings. Tough round for the older woman as she struggles to pull ahead in terms of points.

ROUND 5:
Park is still panting hard as she comes out of the corner. She lands a one-two to the arms before getting thrown off balance by narrowly avoiding a right hook from Suzy. Bae’s persistence and patience pays off, keeps her arms up and center of gravity set, all the while blasting Park in the middle of the arms, occasionally shooting a fist or two into the body, finally bowling her over in pain. Park on the way down, arms barely up but too slow to evade Suzy’s attacks now. Suzy gets in close and fires away, knows a lost cause when she sees one, shoves her arms out of the way before blasting her across the face! DOWN PARK GOES!! Shin Hye gets sprawled out by the ropes, completely knocked out cold! Referee doesn’t even bother counting her out as he waves for the bell!

Official Decision: Suzy Bae defeats Park Shin Hye via KO5!

AFTER:
The younger Suzy huffing and pacing back and forth as the referee announces her win, finally letting her real feelings loose as she insults Shin Hye from across the ring, until the ring officials finally herds her back to her own corner for the medics to check on her fallen opponent.

Shin Hye is still out cold on her back, chest rising and falling as we’re not sure if she’s even aware of her surroundings. A good attempt at drawing this contest out, but ultimately it was the younger actress who came out on top. We have one last fight before we conclude the night!
