BEFORE: "I have to get back into the saddle," Beth shrugs in prefight. "Any time you come off a tough loss, the come-back fight is huge: blow it, and the sharks will definitely start to circle. I've already been on everybody's target list and I'm never going back there. Katie's a tough brand-competitor of mine and sorting her out will put me right back where I was before Rachael pulled that rabbit out of her hat!" Katie supremely confident and snarky - getting right after Beth at podium. "I'd like to propose a new nickname for "Bendy" Beth," Katie grins all mischievous, "'BEATABLE' Beth Harnois...'cause that's what she is. You get smoked like Beth got taken by Cook, and you're damaged goods. Beth's legs don't look right to me, and she's got hinky-eyes: it's a perfect time for me to pounce her!" Beth in sporty ponytail; grey stretch-cotton sport bra over baby blue bra; navy boy leg stretch shorts (snug) with wide neon baby blue waistband; small white gloves; white shoes no socks. Katie in black sports bra; black nylon jogging shorts; white shoes no socks; small white gloves; perky ponytail with swept bangs. Girls touch gloves: Beth serious; Katie smirking as if to say "I've SO got this."

During R1: Rangy, willowy blondes steppin' in wide stances - both girls bendy-backed and supple at the waist. Pinging range-finding jab from Beth, locating Katie's sport-top: Cassidy quick to answer elastic right hand counters, hunting for chin. Sinewy look to proceedings - girls hands up, elbows in, but relaxed and supple, not rigid. Midway through, Beth gets to Katie via diligent right hands off stiff jabs...Cassidy blinking, stumbling to her right as she gets her legs buzzed. Beth frisky on clean up - hunting Katie down via wide, slapping hooks in blonde's bare midsection, then trying for rangy right hand insurance punches up top as Katie ducks/backs into ropes.

R2: Same loose-jointed look - girls steppin' clockwise in wide stances, bending at the knee. Fighters frisking one another's tops via pinging jabs - Katie doubling up nicely to get the extra knock, backing Beth up. Katie leaning in and down with rangy rights - spanking hard, straight shots off Beth's stomach, putting a worried frown on Harnois' face. Beth attempting to step back and walk Katie into right/left uppercuts: Cassidy scuffed, but taking the opportunity to bat shivering right/lefts off Beth's waist in exchange. Hard workin' Katie out-hustles Beth this round; gives her a frosty look at bell.

R3: Beth: right hand at cheek; stepping in with limber jab...she's closing on Katie, fitting her for tuff left hooks to gut as Cassidy forms a jab-defence earmuff. Beth in there scrounging hooks while keeping right tight to cheek: good tuff work roots Cassidy out of her stance, forces her to leg away. Beth tight lipped/hard eyed in pursuit: focussed, hard-hearted Harnois being the obvious aggressor. When Katie's rushed or spooked, she gets a little sloppy...loose-jointed guard turns into slipshod, slapping shots off the back foot as Katie tries to ward Beth off. Harnois sweeping hooks at Katie (right hand still tight to cheek); jabbing Katie; stepping in and flapping left hooks against Katie's ribs/midsection...Cassidy cranky from Beth's licking/batting left hand technique in the third.

R4: Maybe it should be "Bossy" Beth Harnois...Beth resuming the right-hand-at-cheek look as she hops in - pings that yo-yo jab - sweeps the hook up top, or leans in on front leg to dig and lick the hook downstairs. Good stuff from Harnois as she edges close - that small left-hand mitt gouging and scraping at sternum or ribs, then batting limber at the waist, or reaching to cuff Katie in behind right elbow. Cassidy distressed - legs giving frequent shimmies...she's a confused beauty, getting walked down and tuned up a bit in the fourth.

R5: Beth bangs it out of Katie again. Nothing fancy - Harnois approaching responsibly behind the jab, keeping right hand tight to face while featuring the left. Discouraged Katie getting touched up: she tries to reach in to clinch, but Harnois too bendy-clever for that...Beth lapping both mitts underhand with a zesty, straight-arm delivery to Katie's belly and ribcage, stepping back in good order as Cassidy stumbles forward. Katie's mouth open, eyes frowning: pesky Beth's just got all the answers through 5.

R6: Katie stands her ground, competes with rangy yo-yo jabs...Beth soon getting poked on her mouth/bumped on her chest as Cassidy takes initiative. GOOD right uppercut from Katie as she steps in and fetches it to chin: Beth stood up straight, startled: both hands go to earmuff as Katie storms forward. Batting straight-arm barrage to body drives Beth to ropes - many of those strikes punching into the bright blue of Beth's waistband or lower. Harnois bending forward in earmuff, giving up her back; Katie not shy about swabbing those kidneys. Boos from knowledgeable audience as snarling Katie bounces small mitts off Beth's back in side to side sweeps - ref moves in with warnings, but Katie's blood is up. Relentless Cassidy swarming attacks keep Beth covered up in the pocket: Katie romps bell to bell, lathering Harnois into a stupor. At the break, Harnois looking frazzled...she's not ready when Katie leans in from Beth's left flank, driving the right elbow tip back into unprotected belly! "UH-H!" cries Beth, doubling up/sitting into ropes; ref pulls Katie away by slender left arm, giving her a good shake.

R7: Beth similar to limber Katie in that when hurt or spooked, Harnois' form gets a little too loose. Katie driving in behind her jab - knocking at Beth's face, then dropping in the right cross: Harnois getting her chin turned aside to oohs and ahhs from the crowd. Ropes: Beth in earmuff, looking confused: Katie squares away, putting small mitts to good use. Good, rangy hooks off the front (left) leg from Cassidy - batting at Beth's right flank or sweeping across her waist. Katie not shy about pushing in with chicken-wing left elbow...even taking hold of Beth's waistband at the front with that left hand, really pressing Harnois to ropes, or steadying her for control. Ref shouting warnings: Katie just being busy and thorough - working Beth over; stacking her up and controlling her trunks when necessary. Another Cassidy shutout sees Beth looking scuffed and discouraged: frosty glare from Katie at the bell says it all.

R8: Bat-and-lather fighting midring as limber, bendy girls lay in strong to work. Nudging with the left shoulder/chickenwing elbow, girls will prop for position, then slop rights and lefts lanky to the body - really lashing and licking at offending ribs and tummies as the opponent covers up. Turns being taken - both women taking their hacks: good supple work both ways. Close round, but Katie separates herself late: batting left on Beth's tummy doubles into a tight, kissing left hook across the chin...Beth stumbles forward past Katie's left shoulder with blinking eyes, open mouth. Katie able to turn, loop right hands to sweep Beth to ropes: Harnois covers up, takes a wicked lathering to both flanks as Katie salts away the round. Good stuff: Katie's arms shredding up all sinuous as rights and lefts whack/bat off Beth's ribs...poor Harnois face-in-gloves, sagging against ropes, temporarily overwhelmed by Katie.

R9: Early trade in right hands goes Beth's way as she kisses a cross off Katie's startled mouth...Cassidy stumbling out of it, eyes blinking and glassy...she's hurt! Beth shows right-at-cheek - hops in close so she can plant strong on left leg and get after Katie with hooks. Close in, digging/gouging left uppercuts work the sternum, scrape the jugs-front as Beth shrugs 'em in tight. Wider, batting hooks flap at Katie's right flank, or take her across the waist: Cassidy groaning, backing into ropes, folding forward in earmuff. Beth laying in strong with chicken-wing left elbow to stack Cassidy upright: soon as that swatch of waistline is open, Beth's in there stroking hooks! Choosy - but effective - right hands placed by Beth: a short, chopping cuff into Katie's left armpit; a shoving, rigid thrust in under Katie's left breast; the odd short, drifting right up the middle, trying to penetrate Katie's raised guard. Bell to bell Beth, and it's a beating: Cassidy snivelling at the bell, distraught, disheveled and looking thoroughly ass-kicked en route to her corner.

R10: Initial contact enough to collapse Katie's front: slender legs just aren't there after that savage 9th used her up. Stumbling retreat puts Cassidy on ropes: Beth tracks her down with a lunging straight right into the midsection, doubling her forward with a shout. Beth cleaning up hooks-on-hip, or in behind Katie's right elbow: Harnois baring her teeth, really getting after Katie now. Cassidy's eyelashes fluttering - she so tired - lolling sloppy on her hips... she's keeping hands up, just pushing and slapping at Beth in spots to keep her off. RIGHT HAND, BETH HARNOIS! Bendy Beth leans in on a beaut, turning Katie's chin to the side and paralyzing Cassidy on the spot: Katie drooping forward, legs locked up...she's out on her feet! Beth able to hoist a pair of tucking insurance hooks up in under Katie's right breast as she's heading down...Cassidy noses-in at Beth's feet and it's KO10 Bendy Beth Harnois!

After: Shoe's on the other foot now: it's Beth taking the monkey off her back and placing it squarely on Katie's...Harnois looking chipper in postfight while battered Katie gets salts on her stool. "That's exactly what I needed," Beth tells reporters in postfight. "A hard fight against a brand-rival - and I put her away. It was like fighting a mirror at times, but I felt like my legs were stronger, and I was able to dictate as the fight wore on. I don't want to take anything away from Katie Cassidy - she's a tough and skilled competitor who could be a future champ at 110 - but I wasn't going to let anyone beat me tonight!"
