Before: Eva back in the bring not three weeks after her demolition of Jane Krakowski—Larue’s management upping the timetable due to the minimal damage sustained in that fight. Caliente rivalry sells out Staples Center in a heartbeat, fans split right down the middle. Larue’s looked better and enters with momentum—Soto’s been in with far tougher comp, but pundits like Eva’s solid chin and stout heart under fire. Soto in white frilly bikini against that cinnamon skinm long slick braid—Larue in red bikini, gold belly chain.

During R1: Both girls out to attack early—Soto swishing that smooth left hook as she bends to her right—Larue arcing the left up under Talisa’s breasts, sweeping down with overhand rights—Soto with the better judgement in the first minute tags Larue repeatedly, then ducks away from punishment with a good potshotting rhythm. Fight turns on a dime as midway through, both girls jump into pretty hooks—Eva pushing in Talisa’s chin with a flush shot and SOTO IS HURT! Talisa saddened by the blow, lock legged, hands out in front, and Larue pours it on with that fluid delivery, lefts and rights slashing in from either side to clout Soto about the jaw—Talisa crumbling backwards on nerveless legs hits the ropes in a swoon. Eva rushing in, stops, takes a half step and NAILS Soto with another crunching hook on the face—Talisa’s torso drooping out over her feet as she goes wobbly butt. Larue torquing up again, flashing brilliant combination punching to jolt Soto’s head over and over and THE REF STEPS I! Soto glassy eyes, vacant expression stares lifelessly over the referee’s shoulder as Eva leaps about the ring in ecstasy. KO1 Eva Larue!

After: Larue recording back to back first round jacks, pounds Talisa into ruin with another flashy, savage barrage of two fisted leather. Caliente girls hard on one another—a beaming Eva takes a shabby, sniffling Talisa around the ring for a cruel walk of shame, guiding the stunned brunette with a hand around her waist. Larue uncharacteristically mean in this instance, but it’s the Latina on Latina factor—Eva explaining: “The opportunity was there to crush Talisa’s will—I had to take it.” HBO signing Larue to a 3 fight deal, including an upcoming bout against Jewel Kilcher, Soto’s head trainer quits in disgust, citing Talisa’s lack of heart—several knockout losses over her last few fights cause for some soul searching.
