Before: Ledoyen looming large after demolishing Sandra Hess--brassy challenge calling out the division’s bets blondes, Gellar happy to oblige the confident French girl. Gellar a different proposition than Hess-Ledoyen’s arcing punches could be a weakness if Sarah can return to the Spadafora-like form that has seen her win belts at sub 110. No doubt about it though--Ledoyen can crack for her size--Gellar has 5to be canny about getting caught. Virginie in black leather bikini, wet curly hair, Sarah in white bikini, slick ponytail.

During R1: Ledoyen out with loose, free swinging lefts and rights--Gellar dipping low, pivoting around her foe, changing direction is able to nip inside, rip the right/left to the body, fade away behind a pesky jab, Virginie unhurt, but she’s scoring only glancing blows as Gellar neatly picks up leather in her shoulders, elbows and gloves.

R2: Gellar putting on a show--Ledoyen is slinging away, missing over the top and getting touched up as Sarah stays low, moves her upper body, and peppers the willowy brunette with straight right hands, swatting double hooks, and a constant pitty pat jab.

R3: Gellar puts it all together--putting nimble punches together, sticking fists into the brunette’s tight tummy, slapping Virginie’s pretty face, putting a hand at Ledoyen’s elbow to turn her when Sarah wants to shift. Virginie getting brushed up--Gellar sitting down progressively harder until the final minute sees her begin to swivel Ledoyen’s head with vicious straight right hands or clouting hooks on the ear. Virginie on her heels, wide-eyed and looking a little disoriented--brunette gioes back to her corner hurt, shutout this round.

R4: Virginie showing signs of frustration--flailing wildly, over committing--Gellar masterful as she controls the tempo and flow of this fight. Sarah staying crouched, leaning inside to slip the wide punches, rocking back out to leave the calling card hook on Ledoyen’s mouth, stepping around to reset the angle. Sarah able to score hard right hands whenever she pivots under a looping Virginie left--Ledoyen swinging herself off balance is wide open as Gellar drives home the point.

R5: Ledoyen swishing away with wrap around punches, finally twists into a lanky left hand that catches Gellar’s temple--Sarah bending at the knee, staggers away with a hurt look--Ledoyen rushes in. Gellar simply brilliant under duress, right hand at her cheek, left across her belly, she sways inside and out, up and down at the waist, pointing that left shoulder at Virginie, leaning away from sweeping blasts--by the final minute, Gellar’s recovered and picking Ledoyen apart again. Dying moments of the round, Gellar rings Virginie yup with a curling overhand right--Ledoyen spanked senseless stands up stunned--allowing Gellar to rip a left/right to the jaw at the bell. late power steals it for Gellar, who’s starting to shine Virginie up through 5.

R6,7: Gellar gambling--she needs to take some of the steam out of Virginie without getting caught--result is entertaining two-way slugging--Virginie getting the better of it, but Gellar deciding when and where to fight. Ledoyen sweeping left and right with her punches, brawling Sarah around the ring--Gellar concentrating exclusively on the body, ducking in to stuff the right/left into the stomach, then clinching shamelessly to run the clock. Ledoyen takes the rounds, but its mission accomplished for Sarah as the brunette’s legs look heavy, Ledoyen breathing through her mouth from the rib tickling.

R8,9,10: Classic Sarah Michelle Gellar, boxing, gliding, punching her way to all three final rounds as Ledoyen gets discouraged, breaks down, and starts to get routinely cuffed about the eyes and tummy. Gellar turning the brunette at will, brushing the yes and mouth with jabs, then spanking face ir breasts with the overhand right--Sarah dipping into a low crouch and escaping to the side ion follow through. Potshotting blasts can’t hurt Virginie, who seems to take a good shot after all--but Ledoyen can’t land anything more than the odd skidding shot against Gellar’s defense. Sarah all smiles as she dances away in the last few seconds--Virginie waving her hand, turning to stomp away rather than chase in undignified fashion to the bell. UD10 Sarah Michelle Gellar.

After: Surprise guest star Kelly Packard, dressed in dark slacks and high neck cream blouse congratulates a sweaty, smiling Gellar in the ring--hard glares to the opposite corner at a bruised and embarrassed Ledoyen--Packard one of many established blonde flyweights who wasn’t amused at Virginie’s ‘tude coming in. Classic power-puff  beat down for Gellar--Ledoyen just couldn’t land those skull cracking shots she used to destroy Hess. Sarah taking it out on the brunette’s legs, worked the body, broke her girl’s spirit, and left Virginie with a souvenir shiner around hat left eye.
