FIGHT NIGHT LIVE: INTERNATIONAL CUP 2020

Intro:
With team Rest of the World ahead, Charlotte Flair will be hoping to tie things up for team USA, Jenna Pietersen could become the hero for the Rest of the World team by winning the cup now for them.

Charlotte is 33 years old, she stands 5'10, her record is 11 wins, all coming by way of knockout, with only 3 defeats.

Jenna is 34 years old, she stands 5'11, holding a record of 4 wins, all coming by way of knockout, with 5 defeats.

Many see the odds firmly against Jenna with her record, especially with her not winning in an FCBA ring, will the pressure of needing a win though get to Charlotte?

Before the contests begun, both women were interviewed in the build up to the event, Charlotte looking her imperialist self as she heads on the FCBA Network set to speak her mind.

Stopping the interviewer asking a question as Charlotte tells them "before you waste energy with questions, let me make something clear to you, I am happy to be part of this team, though why only now I am involved in these events I have no clue, I am the best welterweight period" as always her high opinion of herself firmly on show.

Laughing as she continues "what a joke the rest of the world's options at this weight must have been, Jenna is a nobody at whatever she does" the interviewer butts in to say a model, making Charlotte give them a death stare.

"As I was saying; whatever she does (rolling her eyes) the fact is I am going to wipe the floor with her, I expect the welterweight champion to be taking notice of me" finishes Charlotte as she stands up, giving a woo! Before she leaves.

Jenna looks relaxed as she sits on the seat, telling the interviewer "I heard that mouthy bytch before I came on here, trust me if she thinks I'm a nobody, where does that put her? She's just jealous that I am stunning and she is a splitting image of her father"

Standing up Jenna flexes her arms as she adds "the facts are this, I am not one bit afraid of that failed volleyball player, when that bell rings I'm going to send her packing as my team sweeps through those pack of s***s and w****s" a steely edge to her voice as she heads off with the interviewer wondering why they were there, feeling pointless.

Fight night in the Philippines Arena, Woo! Rings out as Charlotte heads down the aisle wearing a red robe with "Flair" written on the back in an American flag pattern, her coach for tonight is her WWE boss Stephanie McMahon.

Who helps her take off the robe to reveal she is wearing a red sports bra, white waistband with "Flair" in red letters on an American flag pattern trunks, red shoes and white gloves, her blonde hair is tied into a ponytail.

She doesn't bother with her normal entrance, simply sliding under the ropes and doing a back roll up to her feet, giving a taste of the athleticism that makes her a feared opponent for anyone.

Here comes Jenna with Mel B beside her, heading down the aisle with a swagger to her step, Jenna nods to her fans in the crowd cheering her on to battle.

She is wearing a navy blue sports bra, a white waistband with "Pietersen" on her South Africa flag pattern trunks, navy blue shoes and gloves, her brunette hair is tied into a ponytail.

Jenna steps through the ropes with a grin, her eyes locked onto Charlotte as she goes through her stretches, being told to show the world that she isn't an underdog to anyone.

The fighters step to the center of the ring, going nose to nose as the referee tries to keep them apart, insults flying as these two have no respect clearly for their opponent.

Told to bump their gloves with their opponent, it is a hard clash of leather, before they head back to their corners, once ready the bell is rung to start 10 rounds of welterweight action.

Round 1:
Both come out fighting near the center, trading stiff single punches as they look for gaps, Jenna moving her head more to dodge a few punches coming at her head.

A double jab rifles into the cheeks of Jenna, pushing back the South African fighter as Charlotte looks to get more aggressive, missing with a right hook though as Pietersen leans out the way just in time.

After the first minute, Jenna looks to have found her way out of first gear, ducking a jab to hammer in three body shots before being pushed back to the outside.

Charlotte has a tenacity to come out slow in fights, this doesn't look like it will be any different as Jenna dodges another right before countering with a left cross to the cheek of the blonde.

Pushing back the wrestler to the outside of the ring, throwing more punches then her as Charlotte is crowded towards the ropes, most of those punches are landing on the arms of Flair though.

At the bell it is a strong round for Jenna, Melanie looking happy enough with her effort, especially compared to the USA corner, where Stephanie yells at Charlotte to stop pussy footing around.

Round 2:
Back out their corners with punches flying, they stay at midrange to work, seeking a way to land a bigger punch or a way to get control of the action.

It is evenly fought over the first minute, Charlotte now starting to move her upper body, leading to more counter punches by them.

Drilling a jab/straight into the top of Pietersen's head, Charlotte steps back out the way of a left cross, a right hook smacking Jenna across her cheek to turn her head.

With that opening, Charlotte powers forwards to knock back Jenna towards a corner, Jenna is able to move away from there but gets hit with a double jab to push her back again.

Jenna is being overwhelmed by Charlotte, only able to throw single punches out of her guard, moving side to side to not be pinned back against the ropes.

At the bell Charlotte "Woos!" Into the face of Jenna, grinning as she gets a nod from Stephanie, Jenna staring at the canvas cursing herself for letting Charlotte get up to speed, Melanie telling her to keep her cool.

Round 3:
Both women circling to start, eyes locked as they drill punches to the others faces to start, Jenna steps back out the way of a left cross, landing a right to snap back the head of her opponent.

Ducking under a right cross moments later, Jenna bullies back Charlotte with a slight nudge with her left forearm to the chest, burrowing several body shots in to make Flair groan out.

Pressed onto the ropes, Charlotte trying to fight her way off the ropes, leading to a heated exchange to get the crowd roaring, punches slamming into cheeks, with Jenna looking to hit harder since she can load up on her punches more.

Charlotte needing to pull Jenna into a clinch as her cheeks have a pink hue to them, the referee needed to break them apart with Charlotte getting back into space.

Throwing more jabs as she boxes off the back foot, Charlotte fighting more defensively in the final minute of the round, Jenna keeping on the front foot looking for a big overhand punch.

An overhand left smacks Charlotte across her jaw, Jenna lands another two hits straight into the face of Flair to knock her head back, the bell rings before she can unload more though.

A dominant round for Jenna seems to have gotten her spirits back up, Melanie patting her on her back as she sits down, telling her to keep on top of Flair.

Round 4:
Looking to keep on the attack early on, Jenna is looking to work over the body of Charlotte as she dips down to get inside, pushing back Flair to the outside of the ring.

Pushing back Jenna, Charlotte catches her coming in with an uppercut that snaps the head of Pietersen back, two hooks follow as Jenna is hammered back towards the ropes.

Jenna tries to clinch up with Charlotte, a left hook though wobbles Jenna, A FOLLOW UP RIGHT SENDS JENNA DOWN TO HER SIDE WITH HER GUMSHIELD FALLING OUT HER MOUTH!

The referee nudges back Charlotte as she gloats over Jenna, 1...2...3.. Jenna blinks as she rolls to her back, 4...5...6.. She is groaning but not moving much, 7...8...9...10 staying spread eagle as she is counted out!

Winner Charlotte Flair KO Round 4

After:
A brutal knockout win for Charlotte as she ties up the cup, she does her famous strut back to her corner as Stephanie high fives her.

On the other side of the ring Jenna is helped to sit up by Melanie, who tells her "you tried hard babe, just one mistake cost us" with Jenna looking down at the canvas with a depressed look.

Not helped when she turns to see Charlotte posing on the middle ropes of her corner, "wooing!" To the crowd as they woo back, Jenna feeling she was getting the better of Flair till she was knocked out.

Being helped out the ring, Jenna has her head down as the weight that she threw away the chance to win her team the cup for the first time hits her, Melanie needing to console her.

Inside the ring Charlotte gets her hand raised, she waves her hands in front of her body to signal she wants a title shot, she may need a few more wins to earn that right.

While a video shows the Team USA team jumping around in their locker room, Miley knowing she has a chance of bringing home the cup when it was nearly lost before she had a chance to fight.

While Charlotte leaves the ring with Stephanie, both chatting away with big smiles, they look to be talking about how they'll celebrate winning the cup.
