(Free Agent vs Free Agent)

Intro:
The next bout of this months FNL sees Wallis Day look to continue rising up the rankings against Barbara Palvin, this is a body paint theme on Copacabana beach in Rio De Janeiro.

Wallis is 24 years old; she stands 5'8 ½; holding an impressive record of 5 wins, all coming by way of knockout, with only 1 defeat, she is the 2019 New Blood lightweight tournament winner.

Barbara is 25 years old; she stands 5'9, holding a record of 10 wins, all coming by way of knockout, with 7 defeats.

Both gave their opinions of this fight on there social media accounts, Wallis putting up a video saying "first beach fight for me, I can't wait to go to Brazil to get a tan and knockout Barbara"

Showing off her abs in a black bikini as she poses in front of the camera, Wallis tells Barbara "oh and Barbara if you think you are better then me, just look at what you are facing, I will out muscle you and out fight you bytch"

Barbara's reply was her doing press ups on a beach in a silver bikini, stopping for a moment as she lays on her belly on the beach to say "Wallis babe; this is my home turf, I love fighting on sand"

The Hungarian model then moves to sit cross legged as she taps her abs, telling Wallis "you think you are so special, look at me s***! This is what impressive looks like, I am going to enjoy breaking you down in that ring till you submit to me"

Fighting time; the ring posts have been set directly into the sand, with the judges table nearby on one side, bleachers are side up on three sides with a sold out crowd watching.

Out first is Wallis; she is wearing a black bikini with the house of "Vex" symbol from the TV show Krypton on her chest, black gloves while her blonde hair is short.

She looks serious as she steps into the ring, flexing her arms as she does a lap inside the ring, before settling into her corner to begin her warm up routine.

Now out comes Barbara with her coach, she is wearing a black bikini herself, but has cats eyes painted on her chest with black paint behind them, white gloves and her brunette hair is braided.

Getting into the ring with a grin; Barbara slaps her thighs in her corner before raising her fists into the air, then begins her own warm up routine as her coach tells her what to expect from her opponent.

As the fighters come to the center of the ring, both look relaxed as they look each other over, neither look impressed by what they see as the referee finishes their instructions.

Bumping their gloves together hard; they return back to their corners quickly, looking keen to get things started, with the bell ringing to start 10 rounds of lightweight action.

Round 1:
Out come the fighters circling behind their jabs; similar reaches mean they are both scoring cleanly to the top of the others head as they kick up sand.

Wallis dips a straight to land a right of her own to the body, then an overhand left across the cheek of the Hungarian model, turning her head around.

As Wallis looks comfortable coming forwards; Barbara lands a straight off her nose to snap her head back, following with two hooks to the body as she steps inside.

Both rub heads for a moment as they work the body, grunts and groans can be heard from the combatants, some paint being rubbed off their chests as they try to shove each other backwards.

Once they separate apart; Barbara lands a jab/straight to the face of Wallis, the Brit missing with a counter right leads to her taking an overhand left across her cheek.

At the bell Wallis is staring across at Barbara, looking annoyed as she couldn't keep up the pressure from the start, with Barbara smiling as her coach tells her to keep out boxing Wallis.

Round 2:
Again the early part of the round sees both women trading single punches as they try to work the other out, Barbara looks a little more confident of the two it seems to step forwards more.

The model lands a jab/right cross to knock Wallis back a step, Palvin forces her opponent further back behind her gloves as she comes forwards with more punches in a row.

A missed right from Barbara is made to pay with a left to her ribs from Day, who lands an uppercut to snap the head back of Palvin, before she uses her left shoulder to bump back the brunette further.

It's Wallis now pushing the pace as she gets her head down to work the body of Barbara, who needs to step back and throw out her jab in a defensive manner.

Late in the round Wallis deflects a straight so she can counter with one of her own to the nose of her opponent, a follow up left/right cross to the cheeks of Barbara makes the older fighter back up along the ropes.

At the bell Wallis pumps her right fist in the air as she jogs back to her corner, with Barbara not looking too worried as she sits on her stool listening to her coach about how to improve.

Round 3:
Throwing more punches at the start of the round, the two fighters circle early on with both eyeing the other up angrily, tempers starting to rise as neither seems able to press the other back.

Ducking down to come inside; Wallis gets in two body shots before she is nudged backwards, next time she moves forwards she is met by a double jab to the top of her head.

Barbara side steps an overly keen Day to counter with a right to the side of her head, two more punches straight into the face of the blonde knocks her back towards the ropes.

Forced to cover up along the ropes; Wallis is under fire from a determined looking Palvin, who is barking with effort when she uses her left forearm to press Wallis to the ropes then throws to the body.

Needing to shove Barbara back to get off the ropes, the Brit moves into space and looks defensive with her jab firing out towards the head of her opponent.

Easily deflecting it; Barbara lands a left to the body then a right across the mouth of the actress as she again has Wallis on the back foot kicking up sand in retreat.

At the bell Barbara jogs back to her corner looking much more relaxed of the two, Wallis told by her coach to let her punches flow, while they massage her arms and shoulders to loosen her up.

Round 4:
Barbara is looking to keep the pressure on Wallis early on, throwing a double jab towards the face of her opponent, finding mostly glove but helping her to push Day to the outside of the ring.

When Barbara goes to land a left cross; Wallis leans out the way just in time, countering with a straight to the nose of the brunette, then a left hook under the ribs to make Palvin grunt out loud.

Both end up in tight working the others body, heads rubbing as the referee tells them to lift their heads up, neither really taking much notice as it becomes a power struggle.

Nudging apart from each other; it is Wallis who lands the first clean shot after slipping a right, landing an overhand left to the side of the head of her opponent.

Leading to Wallis landing an uppercut which knocks Barbara backwards onto her heels, needing to cover up now Palvin finds herself now under fire from an aggressive Day.

At the bell they both return to their corners knowing they are in a tough fight, getting wiped down by their coaches, they both talk to their coaches about what they need to change up if they are to take definitive control of this fight.

Round 5:
Both come out looking to fight harder, an early toe to toe exchange gets the crowd roaring the fighters on as heads get turned and sweat flies into the air.

It looks like Barbara is winning the exchange as Wallis takes two straight shots to her face, pushing the blonde back to the outside of the ring.

As Barbara goes for a right cross though; Wallis slips it and lands another precision uppercut that snaps the head of the model back again, A FOLLOW UP LEFT HOOK ON THE BUTTON SENDS PALVIN TO THE SAND!

Lifting her fists as she heads off to the neutral corner, Wallis clearly thinks she has found the off switch on Barbara, 1...2....3.....4.. Who is trying to get up, 5...6.. But Barbara is jelly legged, falling back down to the sand 7...8...9...10 laying on her side as she is counted out!

Winner Wallis Day KO Round 5

After:
Another win on the board for the quickly rising Wallis, who celebrates by turning to the crowd and giving them a big smile as her arms are up in the air.

Barbara on the other hand is helped to sit up as she needs a moment to clear her head, her coach washing her down of sand that covers her arms and side of her face.

Once apart to stand Barbara is up to a round of applause, she raises her right fist to the crowd as she is helped over to her stool, given a drink and sponged down.

Across the ring Wallis is all smiles as she chats to her coach, saying "I don't think I have caught anyone so perfectly before" her coach just smiles back as they nod in reply.

When both are cleaned up and ready; they head to the center of the ring, the final announcement is made as Wallis gets her hand raised by the referee, she understandably is over joyed to overcome a fellow up and coming rival.

Barbara just nods and leaves the ring soon enough, she will need to find something extra like she has in the past it seems if she wants to achieve the potential she showed just two years ago.

Inside the ring Wallis is posing for the cameras, arms raised as she grins cheekily, telling the cameras "I wonder how long before I pose here with a title around my waist" winking before she heads to high five her coach.

They leave the ring together with pundits wondering who is next for the youngster? Will she stick with rivals around her level or take a stab at an elite fighter soon, right now she just wants to celebrate this win.
