THE DOLL BALL SEASON 3 - ROUND 3 PPV

Posted by The Dollhouse on Aug 9, 2020 at 8:12pm

Emma Roberts (29, 5’2, 96 lbs, 22:12 FCBA, The Dollhouse) Vs. Scarlett Joahansson (35, 5’3, 120 lbs, 42:49 FCBA, Free Agent)
Results: Lookout!; Story: Caspian & The Dollhouse

BEFORE: An important match up next as Emma Roberts looks to challenge Scarlett Johansson’s ongoing momentum this year, the Black Widow starlet taking on a plethora of unconventional challengers and putting each one of them in the ground. It’s a risk indeed for a usual Flyweight like Roberts to move up a weight class, but hearing her speak about her chances tonight, the Doll ain’t scared:

“I was never as impressed as most people are with Scarlett. Sure, she can look good sometimes, SOMETIMES….but other than that, I don't see the appeal. What I can tell you for sure, however, is that she does the whole acting thing WAY better than she does boxing. She couldn't BUY a win a year ago, and now she's somehow ranked higher than ME?! That’s completely ridiculous. Beating Avril does NOT make you a top Flyweight in this division, give me a freaking break! So I took the initiative and challenged her - she accepted. Good. Expect to see the best Flyweight in the league exposing a catch weight fraud tonight. Hope you enjoy the show, lads!" Emma ends her tirade with a cocky half-smile.

One could be seen as a fool to challenge Scarlett’s body of work, which includes exploits both inside and outside the ring. The 35 year old veteran is approaching her one-hundredth fight, having bounced between stables like a pinball and recently found great success as a Free Agent. Basically, she’s confident as feck and it shows, as the Hollywood blonde responds:

“Roberts is just another jealous soul. She clearly lives in Avril’s shadow, but I’d agree with her sentiment that beating Lavigne wasn’t and should hardly be the crowning achievement in one’s cap. But you know, the same principle applies to Roberts. She’s done well for herself in jumping into the spotlight - if anything, I should be the one getting the nod from Portman for the straps at the end of the month - but she’s right about one thing: a fraud IS about to be exposed tonight. But that person ain’t me, honey.”

Ladies meet at the center stage and it’s a tense staredown between prospective challengers to the throne: Emma at a disadvantage here in almost every aspect: one inch shorter, packing less body mass (and therefore, power) and of course, pales in comparison to the number of fights Scarlett has under her belt. Still, ladies show each other zero respect as they almost get physical and have to be kept in check by officials.

Later that night, guest Scarlett enters the arena first, raising a hand high to the crowds as she strides through the curtains in a black brassier, white boxing trunks and a pair of black gloves. Roberts shows up second as usual, bursting onto the arena in a fireworks display of silver and pink sparklers and regal music. The Doll is clad in an open white satin robe, dressed underneath in her usual pink and white sports bra and long white fighting tights, with matching gloves, her blonde hair in a tight and neat ponytail.

In the ring, the referee calls the match to order. Ladies size each other up with puffs of the chests and more steady glares, but no touch of the gloves. HERE we go with ten rounds of Flyweight action!

ROUND 1: Cautious start from Roberts as she puts her dukes up and circles. Scarlett is definitely bigger, stronger, and (some would argue) more experienced. The Black Widow starlet dances along with her partner but quickly circles in to land the first punches of the evening, hammering Emma with clean shots to the side of the head or the body, each of the blonde’s jabs feeling like a roundhouse kick to Roberts’ ego. Emma does her best to maintain distance, use her smaller frame to present smaller targets for Johansson as she dodges, weaves and rolls, but still can’t quite keep all of Scarlett’s punches off her frame. First round ends in the older blonde’s corner wide as a result: Scarlett shows off her chops and how far she’s come in the ring.

ROUND 2: Roberts, however, is getting a little used to Scarlett’s attack pattern, defends with more speed and anticipatory movement: she manages to telegraph Scarlett’s advance with a skid of boots to the side, jabbing combo sent in, another leap to the other before she frustrates Johansson with more flurries to the arms and face. Meanwhile, Scarlett is banging back the only way she knows how: mean right hands torquing into Roberts’ guard whenever possible, occasional hook snagging the pale tummy, and Scarlett’s set to take the first half again until a nasty shot from Roberts catches her on the chin, and sends her reeling. Emma taking her time in the second half, methodical advance as she employs more countermeasures with grace, hounding Scarlett to the head and body as she reclaims lost ground.

ROUND 3: But Johansson’s not going down so easily! The short-haired blonde exchanges fire with her counterpart in the opening seconds, mutual grunts elicited as both women shove their fists into each other’s face. But Emma experiences Scarlett’s power first-hand when her opponent pulls back and PACKS in a loud WHAP to the side of her face! OUCH! Roberts almost RAGDOLLED by that one shot, turns 360 degrees on the spot before catching the top rope as a lifeline. But HERE comes Johansson, crowding in and pounding on the battered Doll’s body, thick left and right hands not waiting for any opening before shoved into the vulnerable tummy. Emma left groaning in her foe’s arms, grabbing onto shoulders to prevent the rest of her body from sliding right down! But she’s saved by the bell! It’s only the third round and Roberts looks absolutely gobsmacked by the challenger tonight! How is she ever going to last till the tenth??

ROUND 4: Scarlett’s still smirking at the opening bell as she circles inwards for another attack run. Roberts is on the run by contrast, hugging her body as she defends the next onslaught that is sure to come. Scarlett mixes up blows between the Doll’s head and body, jabs sent forth continually but now finding trouble landing bigger shots to the Doll’s smaller frame. A right hook goes whooshing over Emma’s head and Roberts manages to snap an uppercut back into the chin, temporarily buying her some time. It’s clear as day that Roberts ain’t going down without a fight either, especially against a girl who managed to beat her arch-rival Avril. Ladies spend the remainder of the round exchanging jabs from afar, with Scarlett herself looking a little stunned at the amount of bite in Roberts’ bark.

ROUND 5: Johansson shows more hesitation than usual, her face hidden as she anticipates Emma’s counterattack. Of course, the Doll makes up for lost time, blitzing inwards with a spattering of punches aimed at the body and arms. The Doll should definitely be a little careful, however, of a potential trap, wisely only landing punches from afar, before she’s forced to deftly swerve around Scarlett’s counter-hooks. Wise moves indeed - it’s like a switch being flipped in the younger blonde as Emma swerves to avoid another dangerous hook from Scarlett, which sails over her head, before tagging her on the chin right back with an overhand left hand! AND SCARLETT IS DAZED! The bigger blonde reels backwards with her eyes shut! ROBERTS SMELLS BLOOD! The petite Doll’s eyes light up as she rushes in with the crowd screaming at her back as she quickly PUMMELS Johansson with another hook to the cheek, followed by a perfect cross-hand delivered with pinpoint accuracy to the chin, and DOWN SCARLETT GOES! WOW! The Hollywood sensation’s floored onto her back by that beautiful right hand from Emma!! And the Doll wants more!!! Looming over the downed actress, wanting to finish her out for good. This is not an MMA match Emma! The ref quickly grabbing Emma from behind, pulling her away from the defenseless Johansson. Roberts chuckling, raising her hands as she willingly backs off to a neutral corner. Scarlett still almost completely motionless on the mat…starring at the ceiling as her world spins but the ref is not giving her much time – 6….7….Scarlett is still flat on her back folks, she’s moving her limbs but can’t seem to do much more than that…8….9…ITS OVER!!!

Official Decision: Emma Roberts defeats Scarlett Johansson via KO5!

AFTER: An important win for Emma Roberts, who defied the odds and at the same time, proved all the naysayers wrong tonight. The petite actress may be lacking greatly in raw power compared to some of her compatriots in the top of the division, but she more than makes up for it with her unmatched speed, pinpoint accuracy and tenacity – and tonight, we’ve seen what a few well aimed, well timed punches can easily take down even the bigger girls. The Doll wastes no time, immediately pouncing on the disoriented actress, grabbing at her disheveled hair and dragging the struggling 35 year old to the center of the ring, where Emma proudly plants her foot on Johansson’s soft stomach, posing over the laid out blonde with a confident smirk as her fans cheer for their winner tonight, but struggling to drown out the hefty number of boos coming from the impressive number of Scarlett fans in attendance tonight.

Scarlett’s still completely out of sorts through the process, mere grunts and squirms down below but otherwise pretty much out of it, meekly pushing at Robert’s foot drilling into her body above. But Emma ain’t done, the Doll then signaling for the cameras to zoom in close to her face, before screaming into the lens:

"See, Av? THIS is how you expose a FRAUD. Just like this overrated b*tch exposed YOU! Pathetic.” Emma shakes her head in contempt before finally releasing her perch, letting Johansson roll away in agony. The Doll high-fives her team members in her corner, leaving the ring later with that cocky smirk still on her face. On her way backstage, she’s stopped by reporters, who ask her about her upcoming title bout.

“As you can see…I’m clearly ready for Natalie at the end of the month. I doubt she’ll do better than this hag – Nat IS 39 after all – but I do respect her for her many achievements – both inside and outside the ring - and for giving up the title to me. Yes, you heard me right – she’s giving up the title. I’ve already beaten her last year, and I plan to make it even MORE convincing this time.” Emma pauses, smiling as her fans let out a huge roar. “Oh and…You’re ALL invited to celebrate my championship at my after-party. You should consider yourselves lucky.”

Emma then quickly turns her back to the camera, signaling to her team she’s ready to leave with a wave of her hand. The victorious Doll makes her way through the aisle accompanied by Carmen Electra at her side, completely ignoring the multitude of fans screaming her name and reaching towards her, hoping for a high-five from the Dollhouse top Fly, but to no avail. Emma makes a beeline towards the backstage, and disappears behind the curtains leaving yet another devastated opponent behind. Can she win the first ever Flyweight title for her stable at the end of the month? We don’t know for sure yet, but she certainly looks ready for the task.
