9 Dec 2005 (Partial) Tyra Banks vs Beyonce Knowles

PARTIAL REPORT. Posted by Simguy 12/9/05 6:46 am.

Banks: pink bikini with big white polka dots, puncher's ponytail

Beyonce: green bikini top, sturdy yellow bottoms, slick low ponytail

KO5 Tyra

It was billed the FCBA Lewis/Tyson for the respective physiognomies and fight styles, and as in the true Lewis/Tyson - the taller, more schooled, and bigger fighter would dominate this curiously one-sided affair.

Beyonce appeared listless, flat from the get go - weaving sulkily side to side while nibbling her mitts and looking for one or two big shots to separate Banks from her senses. Tyra, fighting at the heaviest weight of her career proved masterful in keeping Knowles outside with a spiteful, backhanded up-jab off the hip, constantly channeling Beyonce into right crosses and uppercuts. As Knowles busted up, broke down and faltered forward - Banks would calmly fold the shorter vixen into bosomy clinches on the inside, deliberately pulling Beyonce's face into cleavage for clumsy ref's breaks. And Banks worked the body: big splashy hooks, slanting long right hands down and in really discouraged Beyonce, often sending her on little sullen walks about the ring as she tried to shake off body wallop. In the end, too much Tyra, too many Banks right hands on the tip of the chin proved decisive. Knowles would finish up on her back, arms outstretched, awake, but too demoralized to beat the count. "I want Jeri Ryan," a glowing Tyra B would bleat in postfight. "And if she ducks me, I'll beat the tar out of Angi E or whomever Jeri's looking at instead. I AM the welterweight division: too big, too luscious, too strong, and too damn good for these lumbering cows!"
