Before: Dani in tough against a steadily improving Richards. Denise who can box and punch a little, has the tools to make a difficult outing for Fishel, while pundits wonder whether or not Richards can stay cool under Dani’s constant full court press. Fishel in light blue push up bra, grey cotton stretch shorts. Denise in light blue aerobics two piece--white gloves and sneaks for both.

During R1: D out with a solid, professional attack early, laying in a pesky jab from a wide stance, then rocking back on her heel to accept Dani’s response on her forearms. Richards scoring cleanly with one-twos up the middle, then blocking effectively has Dani struggling for much of the round. Late heat from Fishel finally folds Denise over as Dani chugs away with lefts and rights outside the elbows. Richards bags the round--girls swat gloves as they pass en route to respective corners.

R2: Richards using that wide stance, swatting out the jab, then rocking back to block. Dani wises up, gives Richards a little shoulder shuck in close, then quick out of the crouch to crack d across the teeth with the hook. Richards swooning, feet parallel, pushing awkwardly with her fists, and Dani steps in: a sweeping right on the face stun Denise and the crashing left hook on the jaw torques the young beauty’s head violently to the side. Richards’ face goes blank as she clatters backwards to lie very still beneath the ropes--ringside physicians leap in. COLD knockout for Fishel as she stops Richards in 2.

After: Stunning conclusion to what had been shaping up as an interesting battle of contrasts. Richards executing well early, had Dani eating jabs and unable t score in return. Devastating KO one of Fishel’s most impressive ever, and puts her back on track power wise.
