Before: Fought outdoors at the Hollywood premiere of “Galaxy Quest”—promoters looking for a retro sci-fi tie to play up the show—icon Carter fits the bill. Sigourney with her new blonde do looks terrific—big and fit—but Carter vocal about looking to do a number on Weaver. “This is no exhibition,” warns Lynda, “Sigourney’s in trouble tonight,” Sigourney in red sports bra and aerobics bottoms, Lynda in black sportsbra, red adidas terrycloth trunks, long braid.

During R1: Lynda sets the pace with a thumping jab, touching Sigourney to the breast and cheek with a spearing motion, while stepping to the left. Weaver with dukes up, but too wide apart, squares up and gets a facial as she calmly cuts the ring off. Midway through the round, carter taking a step to the right, loads up the right hand, keeps tucked in tight and bends into a curling blow off Sigourney’s face, ducking low and stepping left on the follow through, Weaver taking the punch well, but she’s not getting off, and the subtle hit and run from Carter is taking it’s toll. Down the stretch, Weaver continues to come forward, and Carter bends into another of those crunching rights, and finally, Sigourney is staggered, Carter sees the hurt, pours it on, jabbing Sigourney to the ropes, weaver wide eyed and wobbly butt, right hand at her cheek, left across her stomach, tries to slip punches, but Carter using the left shoulder to stack Sigourney up, gets off crunching right hands to the jaw as weaver flounders. AND THE FIGHT IS STOPPED! Sigourney battered into a stupor, not punching back, and the ref jumps ion to save her. Lynda carter struts the ring with hands held high as the crowd roars.

After: Producers are stunned, not mention embarrassed as carter Tunes up on Weaver to stop her early. Lynda actually goes to the premier, signing autographs, etc,, completely upstaging Sigourney who is nowhere to be seen.
