Intro:
Selena Gomez and Luisana Lopilato both want to be a champion in the FCBA, both are here in Mexico City Arena looking to bulldoze past each other to make that dream come true sooner then later.

Both have only lost one fight all year but Luisana has been much more active of the two, winning seven fights to just three for Selena, the odds are on the side of Lopilato coming into this one.

Though as Alicia Atout heads into the Lioness Club locker room to get a few words from Selena, the singer is looking excited as she talks to her coach Eva Mendes while shadow boxing with her black satin robe on.

Nodding to Alicia with a big smile, Selena tells her "God this has been too long for me, coming down here to box means so much to me, my father is Mexican and I am proud to call myself a third generation American-Mexican woman" Eva putting her right arm around Selena's shoulder as she says that.

"Tonight is as much about putting on a show for these fans as it is about beating Luisana, I know I can beat her at boxing, on the inside, in a street fight, however she wants to come at me I am so ready for her, tonight is my night" says a determined looking Gomez as she clenches her fists.

When Alicia goes into Luisana's locker room, she finds coach Steve Boyd wrapping her fists as her stablemate Megan Fox looks to be mediating on a bench nearby to get ready for her own fight with Vanessa Hudgens in the main event.

Waving over Alicia, the stunning model tells her "I've been wanting this fight for a long time, Selena might have home field advantage in her mind but the reality is once I start laying these fists on her she'll wilt as she always does" a serious look on her face as she speaks.

Asked about why she has wanted this fight, Luisana replies "you've seen Selena be a loud mouth, yet look at her record! She blows plenty of hot air but never delivers when it matters, the times my name has been mentioned she claims she can beat me with ease, let her see how good I really am that bytch" standing up to start stretching as Alicia thanks her for her time.

Fighting time; first out through the curtain is Selena to a loud cheer, she bows to the crowd with her big beautiful smile before waving to the fans as she walks to the ring, she looks in a great mood as Eva points at her to tell the crowd "she is going to f*** that bytch up!" To louder cheers.

Getting off her black robe, Selena is wearing a black bikini that shows off her amazing body, black gloves with her hair tied back into a braid finishes off her look as she jogs up the ring steps and into the ring.

Standing at the ring center blowing kisses to each side of the ring, Gomez takes in the cheers before heading to her corner, where she taps her cheeks to get into the zone as now it is all about her and her opponent.

Who heads out now to a more mixed reception, Luisana doesn't bat an eye to it as she walks down the aisle looking fully focused, Steve beside her is telling with a grin that he hopes she is getting booed louder by the end of this fight.

Climbing through the ropes into the ring, Luisana is wearing a white bikini with matching gloves, her hair is also tied back into a braid, she doesn't bother with the crowd as she dances up on her toes, firmly in the zone already.

The referee brings the fighters to the ring center, where they lock eyes in a nasty stare down, neither seems to want to blink to show any sort of weakness, as the referee goes through their final instructions.

They are told to touch up their gloves, both just swipe their gloves with their opponent's before heading back to their corners, bouncing on their toes as they get some final advice before the bell rings to start 10 rounds of bantamweight action.

Round 1:
Both women seem in a hurry to get things started as they jog to the ring center, trading hard punches already as they have their feet planted, the crowd getting something to cheer right away.

Especially as Selena slips a straight to bury in two body shots, then a left cross just gets blocked by Luisana as she takes a step back, Selena looking to keep the action flowing it seems as she stays on the front foot.

With Luisana needing to double jab Selena to the top of her head, forcing her back a step as she gets more up on her toes, realising she shouldn't drag herself into a shoot out against a highly motivated opponent.

With a minute to go in the row, Luisana misses with a right cross as Selena dips under it, an overhand left smacking the Argentine beauty across her jaw, a straight into her mouth pushes back Lopilato to her heels.

Herded around the outside of the ring, Luisana is forced to cover up as Selena with the crowds support bodies up to her, digging away to the body till the bell rings to end the round, Selena nodding to the crowd as she turns back to her corner after a great start for her.

Round 2:
Stepping back out their corners, Luisana is moving more behind a stiff jab now, wanting to keep the action more at range then the last round, Selena drilling her own in response, though she is planting her feet more of the two.

With Selena slipping inside to hammer in hooks to the blondes body, starting to draw her back towards the ropes again, her head under the chin of Lopilato, who needs to drag her down into a front headlock to force the referee to break them apart.

Once they are separated, Luisana slams a double jab into the cheek of Selena as she sidesteps to the right of the actress, a straight smacks Gomez to the top of her head next time she tries to move in closer to Luisana.

The crowd quietening a bit as Luisana controls the action well behind her jabbing attack, lacing in hard straights too as she wants to slow down the pace and wear down her opponent.

Selena late in the round shows off her own class, feinting with a jab before dipping down so she can get in closer, then slamming an uppercut into the chin of her opponent, knocking her to her heels as onwards comes Gomez.

The round ends with Selena not as buoyant after a less then stellar round, though Eva isn't too disheartened, Luisana being told off Steve to keep outboxing Selena.

Round 3:
Coming on more aggressively, Selena is forcing the issue over the opening forty seconds, both slamming in hard punches that knock back heads as Luisana moves on the back foot, accepting that she needs to back off from Selena till she can find a counter.

Leading to Luisana moving her head out the way of an overhand right, countering with an uppercut that tilts the head back of Gomez, A LEFT HOOK TO THE JAW SENDS SELENA DOWN TO HER LEFT SIDE!

Boos ring out as Luisana puts her arms out at her sides while staring down at Selena, jogging to the neutral corner as the count begins, 1...2...3... Selena pushing up to her backside, shaking her head, 4...5...6... Getting to a knee, Selena punches the canvas in anger at herself, 7...8.. Pushing to her feet to a cheer, nodding to the referee to show she is OK.

Once they resume Luisana is on the attack, pushing back the younger woman to the ropes with three punches smacking Selena to her face, a left cross smacking Gomez across her face before she can clinch up.

After they are broken apart, Selena shows she isn't too badly hurt with less then thirty seconds to go, she deflects a straight before landing a counter straight to the mouth of Lopilato, a left cross smacking the blonde across her cheek just as the bell rings.

Both women lock eyes before turning to their corners, Luisana getting a nod from Steve for a great round, Selena on the other hand has Eva looking worried.

Round 4:
Pushing out her corner, Luisana keeps stinging the cheeks of her opponent with her straight shots, being patient as she looks for an opening to land her bigger punches, Selena doing a good job of defending herself.

With a double jab smacking Selena between her mitts after taking a right to her chest, Luisana driving her back towards the corner, Selena tightening her guard up as she takes punches onto her gloves and forearms.

Pushing her fists into the chest of Luisana, Selena is able to box her way out of the corner, slamming in cross punches to the stunning face of the model to get the fans back to their feet.

But a straight on her mouth along with a left cross stops this comeback cold, blood runs from a cut bottom lip on Selena, with Luisana able to get back on the move to keep things at range.

The final moments of the round sees Selena able to move in closer with a right to the body, an overhand left follows along with a right hook as she mixes up her punches, again the round ends before she can really motor forwards.

Stamping her right foot when she sits on her stool, Selena can't help show frustration at what is happening, while Eva yells at her to show more fighting spirit, asking her if she really wants to make her family proud, Selena looking like she has been slapped as she stares at Eva.

Round 5:
Luisana kicks off the round as she has done the last few, up on her toes moving around the more straight forwards coming Selena, who is moving her upper body more at least to try to be more harder to hit.

A left cross lands across the cheek of Luisana, who finds herself pushed back a step by two more straight punches into her face, allowing Selena to open up on her till she gets shoved back.

The blonde drills punches into the face of Selena, the hits to the bottom lip of Gomez makes her wince as more blood runs down the chin of the crowd favourite, Luisana pressing her back near the ropes.

After the first two minutes, Selena deflects a straight to hammer in an uppercut to the body of Luisana, then lands a left hook to the chin of the model to turn her head, ANOTHER UPPERCUT THIS TIME TO THE CHIN SENDS LOPILATO DOWN TO HER BACK!

The crowd roar as Selena raises her arms in the air, then heads to the neutral corner as Eva is jumping for joy, 1...2...3... Luisana pushes herself up to her elbows, shaking her head as 4...5...6.. She moves up to a knee, 7...8.. Beating the count with her fists up to show she is OK.

The referee let's the blonde continue, Selena finding her confidence again as she charges forwards, slamming several punches into the body of Lopilato as the Argentine beauty tries to cover up.

The round comes to an end with Luisana looking to the heavens wondering what the hell happened, Steve wiping her down as he checks her over, she nods when told what she needs to do.

Round 6:
Both fighters stare hard behind their gloves as they come out headhunting, Selena looking more aggressive again now she has momentum, getting plugged to her face Luisana shows she is still plenty accurate with her punches.

But after blocking a jab, Selena slams an overhand left to the jaw of the blonde, an uppercut rocks Lopilato to her heels as she looks to be hurting, Selena easily knocking back her opponent to a corner.

Where Luisana has to clinch up as she is being hammered across her face, Selena trying to break free as the crowd is chanting Selena on, the referee is needed to split the fighters apart.

Selena isn't letting Luisana breathing as the Lioness fighter is keeping on the front foot, a left hook turns the head of Lopilato as sweat is coming off her from the hits she is taking across her face.

The round comes to a close with Luisana looking in a bad state as she heads back to her corner, Steve trying his best to help her recover as Luisana tells him not to dare throw in the towel.

Round 7:
Showing her fighting spirit, Luisana is trying to ward off Selena but is finding it hard as the actress is hunting her down, a double jab smacking Luisana on her chin to open her up to an overhand right.

Knocked onto the ropes, Luisana tries to fight back but an uppercut rocks her, LEFT HOOK SLAMS ACROSS THE CHIN OF LOPILATO TO SEND HER GUMSHIELD FLYING AS SHE TUMBLES TO THE CANVAS FACE DOWN!

The crowd stand as Selena pounds her chest with her right fist, jogging to the neutral corner, 1...2...3... Luisana is barely stirring, 4...5...6.. The referee kneels down to check her, signaling that she is out cold! That's it for Luisana!

Winner Selena Gomez KO Round 7

After:
A fight of two halves ends with Selena making her family proud, falling to her knees with tears in her eyes, sobbing into her gloves as this is an emotional victory for her, Eva rushing into the ring to go hug her.

On the other hand Luisana has to be helped to be turned safely, smelling salts used to bring her back around as Luisana splutters awake, with Steve rubbing her shoulder as he tries to console her.

Seeing that Luisana is still a little glassy eyed, Luisana is helped up after the ringside doctor checks her, Steve helping her out as the crowd show their respect by applauding her, she raises her right fist up to show her thanks for that.

Across the ring Selena is lost to her own emotions to notice that Luisana is going, instead she is embracing Eva, who pats her on her back and tells her "you've made me and everyone else proud tonight" knowing how much this means to Gomez.

Who heads to the ring center once she calms down, her gloves are off as she raises her arms in the air, taking in the roar of the crowd with a big smile, tears still running down her face.

After she leaves the ring, Selena high fives people in the front row, heading around ringside as the fans tell her how much they love her, she thanks them before heading up the aisle, taking a bow at the top.
