About
Says the founder of "Team Canada": "Overall, Canadian fighters are value-for-money hard workers in the ring--typically coming to boxing from the more Canadian 'clinch-fighting' discipline which tends to encourage inside fighting. There are exceptions, of course: Karine Vanasse is a slick stylist; Alaina Huffman is a Theron-class boxer/puncher, as is Karen Cliche...but for the most part, these are come-forward, walk-in girls who feel pressure is the quickest route to victory." Team Canada clearly expects to compete primarily in the Brit Boxing Unlimited (BBU) federation, but it is expected there could be some eventual crossover to the FCBA with which the presently "silent partner" founder of the organization is said to have deep roots.
In October 2016 the stable underwent a roster shake-up adding four new members while two others moved into a coaching role.
In December 2017 the stable underwent another roster reconstruction.
