This is the fight that the rest of the BBU has been waiting for, the two girls having been rivals for some time, Suranne having starred in Manchester-based soap Coronation Street, while Michelle was in London's Eastenders. Both have carved out careers as feisty actresses since then, and big Suranne has vowed to teach the shorter Michelle a savage lesson should they ever meet in the ring. Neither girl can be described as a beauty, but their legs and bodies make up for their lack of prettiness.

Round 1
Michelle looks slightly apprehensive at the start of the round, and finds herself on the receiving end of the taller girl's solid left jab, her head jolting back. It's still early in the round when Suranne muscles Ryan to the ropes and rips a few big hooks towards the younger girl's face, some blocked, but a couple getting through, and a big left sees the Londoner's head turned sideways, spit and sweat spraying onto the ring apron. Ryan is hurt, holding on, and looking desperate as the Mancunian cuffs her to the body inside. The ref pulls the girls apart at the bell.

Round 2
Suranne looking to hurt Michelle early in this round, clips her round the mouth with a right hook, then again, the younger girl starting to look outgunned, but landing a nice left to Jones's ribs, following up with another and a right to the belly, now showing the northerner she can punch too. Suranne backs off, then pings Michelle's mouth with a straight right as she moves in, and she has hurt her again. Suranne turns Michelle, thuds a left jab into her face, and the younger girl's on the ropes again, taking punishment to her face as big Suranne tries to finish her off - but Ryan is tough, and she sees the chance to get Jones to the body again, ripping a left hook under the northerner's guard as she throws her own punch, and that's hurt Suranne, forcing her to hold on again. As the round ends, Michelle is landing some nice shots to Suranne's body.

Round 3
It's a bruised Michelle Ryan who starts better in the third, finding Suranne's vulnerable ribs and gut with her left again, and now the northerner is on the ropes, taking some good shots to her body. Suranne can dish out the punishment, but can she take it? The big girl breathes hard, then slams a solid right hook into Ryan's jaw, which stuns the Londoner, and Jones follows up with another hook to the younger girl's face, and she's looking dazed as she takes another to the mouth, and her defence looks very disorganised as Suranne lands some lovely punches, the round ending with blood smeared over Ryan's face from her split lips.

Round 4
The ref is looking hard at Michelle as the round starts - but she is the one landing the better punches in the early exchanges, hurting Suranne to the body again, the big girl now tucking her right elbow in, but that leaves her face exposed, and the more skilful Ryan starts to land left handers to the northerner's face now, reddening the older girl's right cheek. Suranne is happy to hold on when Michelle gets inside, but she is still taking punishment to the body as the shorter girl rips blows into her torso, ending the round with a lovely straight right to the belly, then a super left uppercut to Jones's face, which sprawls her against the cornerpost, glassy-eyed as the bell rings.

Round 5
Suranne is not looking too steady on those long legs as the round begins, and the action is taking place right in her corner, with Michelle hurting her with body shots, then switching to the head. Jones is stooping forwards, losing the height advantage, and allowing Ryan to thump her face at will, measured left hooks smacking into that swelling cheek, and she's cut - Suranne is cut in the 5th, blood seeping from a wound under the right eye, which Michelle works on. The ref pulls Michelle back to look at Suranne's eye, which is wiped, and the fight continues, but this respite is good for Suranne who catches Michelle with a nice right hook as she closes in, and her knees buckle - Suranne is tiring, though, and she doesn't follow up, so the confident Michelle bangs her body again with those left hooks, then rips another into her face, and it's Jones taking a pasting again at the end of the round.

Round 6
Suranne is slower again to rise, and now Michelle showboats a little, jabbing the bigger girl's face with ease, then punishing her with left hooks to that cut cheek. Jones manages to grab and hold Ryan when she gets close, and lands a couple of body blows, but there is little power there, and the younger girl easily absorbs them, then lands her own shots to the northerner's ribs, and they hurt - she gets her in the belly again, and Suranne is down, that sucker punch has winded her, and she's gulping in air on her hands and knees, looking anxiously at her corner. Jones is on her feet at 8, not long left in the round, but long enough for Ryan to hurt her with a left hook to the jaw, then a barrage of bodyshots - Michelle is well on top, and enjoying this, Suranne exhausted at the bell.

Round 7
Again the ref is looking at Suranne's damaged face, but allows the fight to continue. The older girl is quicker to rise this time, but Michelle is soon hurting her to the body again, then pastes a lovely left hook across her face, and she has her on the ropes, clubs her face again with that left, blood splattering over both girls, and the ref's moving in - but Ryan wants to finish this herself, and she smashes a right uppercut into Suranne's slackening jaw, flooring her again, and she stays down, on her back, tears and blood running down her cheeks.

Michelle knocked Suranne out in Round 7

After parading around the ring with her arms aloft, Michelle drags her stool to the centre, and 'invites' Suranne to join her. Then, brandishing a thick leather belt, she pulls the big girl across her knees, tugs down her knickers and thrashes her ass with the belt, each blow bringing a scream from the northerner's lips, and leaving 12 vivid welts across her skin. After Michelle pushes Suranne to the floor, she stalks off, leaving the sobbing Suranne alone in the ring - if she disliked the Londoer before, she absolutely hates her now!
