Well, BWO got beaten to the punch on a few of these, but we're aren't going to change our picks. So, here goes.

ROOKIE OF THE YEAR: ALY MICHALKA...No question here. None. The young blonde blew onto the scene in style, won fights, looked great, got tongues wagging, and then got signed...all within a few months.

UPSET OF THE YEAR: CASSIDY FREEMAN OVER JESSICA BIEL. Biel was riding a two-fight losing streak and this was to be the "get healthy" fight. Only Freeman used it as a coming out party.

FIGHT OF THE YEAR: BRITNEY SPEARS VS. TIFFANI THIESSEN... We were surprised others picked this, but shouldn't have been. It was ten brutal rounds of inside pounding and jug mugging that proved Thiessen's been underused and that Britney was back. Further evidence for the latter came later against Fishel.

BEATDOWN OF THE YEAR: GENA LEE NOLIN OVER KATE WALSH...Sure, this wasn't ten rounds. In fact, Nolin actually lost the first two rounds of this one. Then came the third. The worst and possibly LAST of Walsh's career. Nolin crippled her with body shots, knocked her out 60 seconds in, and kept holding Walsh up and pounding away for another 90 or so until the referee realized Walsh was out. Kate left the ring, and probably the FCBA, on a stretcher.

KNOCKOUT OF THE YEAR: RACHEL NICHOLS OVER YVONNE STRAHOVSKI...We've heard of one-punch knockouts, but this was a one-punch destruction. Nichols landed a clean first-round body shot under the heart that crippled the blonde, leaving her unable to do anything but lie in the ropes in a tight guard as her rival hammered away until the referee stopped it. Strahovski never even landed a blow.

MANAGER OF THE YEAR: FRANCHISE...He managed Jamie Pressly to the bantamweight title, invented the best-of-three title defense, managed Sienna Miller to flyweight gold and Stacy Kiebler to a welterweight title fight and a win over Charlize Theron, stole Kate Beckinsale, found Christina Aguilera, and revived the career of Cameron Diaz. We can't wait for the encore.

COMEBACK FIGHTER OF THE YEAR: ELISABETH HARNOIS...Harnois came into 2010 with THREE career wins. She had twice that many this year alone. In fact, she went 6-1-1 with her only loss to flyweight champ Sienna Miler. Harnois went from punchline to contender in the space of 10 months.

FIGHTER WHO'LL HAVE A BETTER YEAR IN 2011: JESSICA BIEL...Her current slump is an aberration. She's simply too good and too talented not to turn things around in a big way.

FIGHTER WHO'LL HAVE A WORSE YEAR IN 2011: JENNY McCARTHY...McCarthy, who turned 38 this year, fought four contenders in 2010. She lasted more than five rounds in only one of those fights and spent the last part of that one running from Neve Campbell to cling to a narrow decision. The division is filled with talented younger fighters. Oh, and did we mention that Jenny's 38?

And now for the big ones:

FLYWEIGHT OF THE YEAR: HAYDEN PANETTIERE...She was an impressive 8-3 on the year and the losses were to Chabert, Scerbo, and Danes. When she brings her "A" game, no one in the division can beat her. If it's an "A+" night, no one can stay close. But the scary part is, her "B" and "C" games are winners against most fly's "A" stuff. And scarier still. She's still only 21.

BANTAMWEIGHT OF THE YEAR: RACHEL MCADAMS...This one isn't close. McAdams didn't just win the title in 2010, she went 5-0 and, in her last six, has beaten McCarthy, Beckinsale, and Pressly twice.

LIGHTWEIGHT OF THE YEAR: YVONNE STRAHOVSKI...Straho went 7-2 on the year and won the title. Her losses came to the aforementioned Nichols and Kelly Brook, and among her victims were Brook, Biel, and Durance twice. Pretty good year.

WELTERWEIGHT OF THE YEAR: AMANDA RIGHETTI...Also not close. She went 11-2 and beat Loken, Landry, Kiebler, Garner and Henstridge among others. She's going to wear the belts again, probably many times, but she'll be hard pressed to have a better year than she did in 2010.
