BEFORE:

"It was a great fight last time," Tracy says with a nod, "And, we were both ready to go OT. I think we were both disappointed the referee didn't let that happen. But, now I get another chance to get the job done, and this time, I'll make no mistake."

"The first one was something special, no question," says Grace with a tiny smile. "But, that's in the past now. Now, it's about breaking the tie, so to speak. We both want that, but only one of us is going to be happy when it happens. And, I'm going to be the one."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and that's 'Blitzkrieg Bop' by The Ramones and here comes one of the members of what just might be the best bantamweight division under one roof, Tracy Spiridakos of Bazz..."

Cassie: "There's no 'might' about it. No stable in the FCBA has four bantams like Michalka, Wilde, Spiridakos, and Woodley. Tracy would be the top bantam in a lot of stables, and at Bazz, she's number three..."

McCarthy: "Frankly, I think they're all overrated and none of them could stand with the two bantams from Sceej, Olivia Munn and, of course, Mac The Knife!"

Tess: "Truck, send out a new headset. Mac's head just swelled and broke hers again..."

McCarthy: "Shut up, Walmart!"

O'Dell: "Drink up, boys!"

Cassie: "Tracy is number three despite not having lost in almost three years. She's undefeated here at Asylum, standing at 2-0-1, with wins over Dennings and Rambin and that draw against Park..."

McCarthy: "Dennings and Rambin? Just two more disappointments in Weirdo's stable. One's on her way out, and the other would be gone if it weren't for that loser Campbell..."

O'Dell: "Tracy climbs into the ring and is helped off with the robe by the Bazz corner. Wearing that white two-piece we've seen before. And that's 'Hawaii Five-O' by The Ventures you hear, and here comes the star of that series, 'The Korean Krusher', Grace Park!"

McCarthy: "Also known as 'The Human Cue-Tip'..."

Tess: "Park, of course, a former bantamweight champion, one of FOUR Front Street/Hour-Glass bantams to hold that belt, along with Britney Spears, Neve Campbell, and Allison..."

McCarthy: "Don't you DARE..."

Tess: "'Mack The Knife' Mack!"

McCarthy: "I SWEAR, Walmart..."

O'Dell: "Now, calm down, Mac. Grace into the ring and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve. She's wearing that medium blue two-piece she likes. In great shape as always..."

McCarthy: "Looking like a strong wind could blow her right back to Hawaii..."

O'Dell: "And, it's time for some picks. Tess favors Grace. Mac?"

McCarthy: "Park is a has-been. In fact, she's a never-was. Spiridakos!"

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "Going with my girl Tracy!"

O'Dell: "And, there's the bell. Park wants to work the long left jab, no surprise. She's very tall for this weight and always makes use of the length. Spiridakos clearly remembering the first fight. She's not looking to jab and move early in this one. She wants to work past the left hand, get into good punching range and force exchanges..."

Tess: "And, Grace not averse to those, as we recall from last time. She's still got an extremely high work rate, even north of 40, and you're seeing that now, as she gets off in combination again and again and Tracy responds in kind..."

O'Dell: "These kind of back-and-forth flurries are one of the reasons the first fight was so great to watch, and we expected nothing less tonight. It's early, but, so far, we're not getting disappointed. Spiridakos the more defensive of the two, but just slightly. She's keeping the hands high as she steps in, picking off the long-range stuff..."

McCarthy: "That's how she's getting into punching range and forcing these trades. If she can keep doing this, she'll win the fight, because The Human Cue-Tip can't stand and punch with her..."

O'Dell: "She's doing it now, though. Grace putting together punches in bunches and Tracy responding with bunches of her own down the stretch. Good, two-way action that has the fans into the fight and the fighters working up a good sweat. Ten seconds left in the first. Five. Bell. Close. Park with the 10-9 lead.:

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Grace establishing that jab early. Sticking it home pretty well, but, again, Tracy not going to stay out there on the end of Park's punches. She remembers the early rounds in the last fight..."

Cassie: "She does. She watched that video about a thousand times. She tried to do a lot of legging, but it just didn't work. Grace controlled her with the jab and used it to set her up for some hard shots. She won the first two rounds that way, and those rounds ended up costing Tracy the fight."

O'Dell: "Spiridakos bouncing forward, lands a good right hand, Park counters with a hard flurry. Tracy covers up, but hangs in there and bangs right back. Good movement from both fighters in this one. Feet, head, hands, everybody working for the range and angles they want."

McCarthy: "And, both fighters getting some, but not all of what they want, and that's why we're seeing so many even exchanges. Neither girl can enforce her terms, but both are getting them in spots."

O'Dell: "And, both getting off plenty when they do. It's trade after trade, flurry after flurry. Both fighters very busy, and Spiridakos again doing a good job of matching that Park work rate, which is very, very hard to do. Coming down the stretch in the second. Nothing much changing here. The two fighters getting in rhythm, getting leather on target. Final seconds tick off and there's the bell. Another close one to Grace."

Tess: "20-18, Park. She's grabbed the first two again."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Back to work and the pattern definitely set. Neither fighter looking to make any adjustments in this one. Both getting leather home, getting work done, so, if it ain't broke, they aren't interested in fixing it."

Tess: "And, as you said, Jenny, we expected an action-packed fight and we aren't being disappointed. The punch stats are proving out what our eyes are telling us, and that's that both fighters are very busy in this one."

O'Dell: "And both are effectively busy. They're landing high percentages, despite effective defenses by their respective opponents. Tracy showing excellent quickness, slipping punches, picking others off, but, still, lots of leather getting home. Grace forcing Spiridakos to be short on plenty of stuff with her foot work and head movement, but, again, Tracy getting plenty of other punches on target..."

McCarthy: "You have to be impressed with Spiridakos' athleticism, too. She moves very well, even when she's not ranging the ring. Feet always in action. Very, very smooth."

O'Dell: "Coming down the stretch in yet another busy, evenly fought round. Neither woman has been hurt despite tons of solid stuff getting on target. Both in good rhythm, setting up punches, getting off in combination. Ten seconds to go. Good right from Tracy and Park answers with one of her own and there's the bell. Another close one. Spiridakos."

Cassie: "29-28 now, as Tracy avoids the dreaded 3-0 hole."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Fourth rounds starts like the third ended. Both fighters busy. Grace wants to get that full extension, pick Tracy off at range. Spiridakos wants to close just a bit, so that she can get her stuff on target, and, again, both having plenty of success getting the terms they want..."

McCarthy: "Key here for Spiridakos is not to get thrown to the defensive. That's the mistake girls make with Park. They let that work rate intimidate them and they spend too much time covering up."

O'Dell: "Tracy definitely not doing that. She's getting her own offense off at every opportunity. Neither woman able to grab lead and neither interested in going to the counter. The result is another action-packed round with plenty of punches landing and even more being thrown. About a minute to go in this one. Good right hand Park. Spiridakos a right and GRACE IS BUZZED. Tracy has Park wobbled and DOWN GOES GRACE after a big flurry!"

Cassie: "Great follow up by Tracy! Didn't get punch-happy when she hurt Grace. Landed a couple of jabs and then a good right hand that dropped her!"

O'Dell: "Count at three. Four. Five. Six. Seven. Park sits up. Eight. Nine. And back to her feet to take the mandatory. About 30 seconds left in this round and the referee going to let it continue. Here comes Tracy! Grace backing and covering as Spiridakos goes to work. Again not getting punch-happy, as Cassie pointed out. She's jabbing, setting up her right hands, forcing Park backward. Tracy another good right hand. Another. Park in some trouble here. Ten seconds left. BIG flurry by Spiridakos, but Grace weathers it and there's the bell! Big round for the Bazz beauty!"

Tess: "And, she's gone ahead 38-37."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "Fifth begins with Tracy coming forward behind the left. She's looking to take canvas from Park and Grace engaging in the fighting retreat. She's still clearly not confident in the legs, so she's not holding ground. Instead, she's willing to give up canvas while making the younger woman take leather to claim it."

Cassie: "Again, Tracy careful. She's very sound in everything she's doing here. Not forcing. Not getting greedy..."

O'Dell: "AND SHE GETS CAUGHT ANYWAY! Park rocks Spiridakos with a right-hand counter! Tracy now covering up as Grace goes to work. A withering BLIZZARD of punches flying from the Front Streeter and DOWN GOES TRACY!"

Tess: "WOW! What a turn around!"

O'Dell: "Spiridakos dropped to hands and knees by the sheer weight of that leather! Referee's count to three. Four. Five. Six. Seven. Tracy to her knees. Eight. And she's on her feet. Referee gives her the eight count and waives Grace forward. Park letting her rival have it with both barrels now. Spiridakos backed up into the ropes and taking..."

McCarthy: "Come ON, kid. Get busier so this hometown ref can't STOP it..."

O'Dell: "Tracy jabbing back in spots, working in that ear muff, bobbing the head and shoulders, making Grace's job tough. But Park getting leather on and plenty of it. Tracy hanging on as we come into the final seconds. Park a HARD right hand that wobbled Spiridakos. Five seconds left and there's the bell! Once again, a fighter weathers the storm, but, this time, its a big round for Grace."

Tess: "Who's now back in front 47-46."

ROUND SIX:

O'Dell: "Park now looking to finish. She's coming forward in a complete 180 from the beginning of last round. Good, solid resistance from Spiridakos, though. Tracy firing back hard, stabilizing the front, stopping the offensive in its tracks..."

Tess: "I get more impressed with Tracy every time I see her. The athleticism. The power. This girl is going to be something special. In fact, she already is."

O'Dell: "Couldn't agree more. We've watched her develop and break out right here at Asylum, and it's been fun. Right now, we're back to where we've been much of the fight. It's tactical stuff again. Park ranging with that left, using the high work rate to pile up points. Tracy wants to get just a bit closer, and, when she manages to do so, we get some heavy exchanges..."

Cassie: "Tracy wants to get a little busier here, though. She's letting Grace grab lead right now, and that's not a recipe for victory..."

O'Dell: "It is not, not with as busy and accurate as Park always is. Grace getting off in big numbers right now, scoring with both hands while Tracy covers up. Spiridakos undaunted, working forward, then banging some body..."

McCarthy: "Always a good idea against The Human Cue-Tip..."

O'Dell: "Fifteen seconds left in the round. Grace flurrying. Flurrying again. Park keeping the work rate high, keeping the leather raining down on Tracy. Spiridakos banging back with a right and there's the bell. Park's round."

Tess: "57-55 for Grace with four to go."

ROUND SEVEN:

O'Dell: "Tracy getting busier as we start the seventh. Probably heard the advice Cassie gave on the air from the corner. She's getting more aggressive, stepping forward, forcing those heavy exchanges at mid-range, not allowing Grace to dictate with that long left..."

Cassie: "It's natural to get a little less aggressive after a knockdown. You may not even realize you're doing it, but you get a little too careful, and, I think that's what happened last round to Tracy..."

O'Dell: "Well, that issue's been resolved and Spiridakos is holding her own very well with Grace. Again, both women getting some of what they want, but not nearly as much of it as they'd like. It's good, two-way stuff between two talented bantams..."

Tess: "And, we're seeing some really solid stuff landing. Both girls getting shots on pretty clean...'

O'Dell: "They are indeed, but neither's taking a backward step. Both fighters upping the work rate as we come down the stretch. Punches flying hot and heavy, neither woman willing to cover up, back up or slow up. Crowd getting into it in a big way as a HUGE exchange sends heads snapping and sweat flying at the bell. Great round. Tracy's."

McCarthy: "And it's 66-65, anyone's fight with three left."

ROUND EIGHT:

O'Dell: "Eighth begins with Park zeroing in with the long left. She's sticking it home with both accuracy and authority, slowing Tracy up, leaving her hanging out there for right hands again. Spiridakos bobbing, weaving, trying to get inside those defenses, but Park's got the range right now..."

Cassie: "This is one of the tough things about fighting a girl who has reach on you. Especially one as accurate as Park..."

O'Dell: "And, it's causing Spiridakos plenty of problems at the moment. Grace putting punches together very well, piling up the points, keeping Tracy at range. Spiridakos not panicking, working hard, but she's short on a lot of stuff right now, because she's not able to get where she wants to be..."

McCarthy: "Another case of needing to be more aggressive. She's got to get to her spots, not stay out there..."

O'Dell: "Tracy slipping forward, going body. Grace responding upstairs with a solid combination and SPIRIDAKOS HURT HER WITH A RIGHT HOOK! Tracy a right hook and Grace buzzed! Spiridakos now going all in, firing punches from everywhere. Lands a solid left and a straight right and DOWN GOES PARK! Right hand from Spiridakos and Park dropped to her rump!"

McCarthy: "YES! Just what I was talking about!"

O'Dell: "Count at three. Four. Five. Six. Grace to her feet at seven. Will take the mandatory. Referee going to allow it to continue. Almost no time left. Tracy forward and fires one flurry, but there's the bell. End of the eighth, but Spiridakos steals the round..."

Tess: "And takes the lead 75-74!"

ROUND NINE:

O'Dell: "Well, we wondered if this fight would live up to the last one, and we have our answer. This is been every bit as much fun as the first meeting between these two. It's been action-packed and the action continuing here in the ninth, as we're back on familiar terms, Park working at range, throwing lots of punches, and Tracy, dipping in closer where she force heavy exchanges..."

Cassie: "Amazing thing about this fight is how much leather's getting home despite both of these girls fighting well defensively. When you have this much accurate shot flying, stuff's going to land..."

O'Dell: "And is it ever landing. There's a HARD right from Park that backed Spiridakos up a step. Tracy fires back and gets nailed AGAIN! A two-punch combination backed Spiridakos up a second time. Tracy right back forward, though, hooks the body, lands a good left hook to the head. Grace a left hook of her own and A RIGHT HAND FROM TRACY HURTS PARK AGAIN!"

Tess: "This girl really has some power for a bantam..."

O'Dell: "Park wobbly. Spiridakos firing everything on the decks and calling for more shell from the magazines. Grace backing up under heavy fire and DOWN SHE GOES! A BIG right from Tracy and Grace blown to her back with thirty seconds to go in the ninth!"

Cassie: "THAT'S. MY. GIRL!"

O'Dell: "Count at three. Four. Five. Six. Seven. Park to a sitting position. Eight. Nine. TEN! She can't make it! It's over!"

McCarthy: "YES!"

O'Dell: "Grace Park can't beat the count and your winner by KO9 is Tracy Spiridakos!"

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "Tracy, a heck of a fight again. Big hug between you two after it was over..."

Tracy: "She's a great fighter, obviously. A former champion. I have to be my absolute best to have a chance against her, and I was my absolute best tonight."

Tess: "You've had a pretty meteoric rise through the bantamweight ranks. You've been compared to Claire Holt..."

Tracy (smiling): "That's pretty good company. Of course, I haven't gotten a title fight like Claire did. But, maybe what we need is a fight between Claire and I. A win there, and I might be right in the title picture, eh?"
