BBU LIONESS CLUB AUTUMN SPECIAL PPV

BEFORE: It's a real surprise to see Martine McCutcheon back in the BBU ring but the Hackney brunette is indeed poised for her swan song fight here in Barnet tonight against the fellow Londoner TV actress Jaime Murray who makes her outright debut for the organization equally raising several eyebrows among the fans and pundits alike. However a closer inspection allows to identify Murray's bitter feud with Kelly Reilly that has seen both women clash in a couple of backstage catfights in the recent weeks and while Reilly challenged the brunette out into a proper boxing slugfest, it left Murray with nowhere else to go but to the Lioness Club's headquarters asking for a special persmission to join this upcoming card.

Word on the street is that Murray held more than her own against Reilly in their cat spats and all the focus is on her during the introductions as McCutcheon is a well known liability on the BBU bantamweight roster and seemingly not even considered a journeyowman anymore. However she's still good enough to give the Hammersmith brunette a rookie test even if a defeat would effectively end her career on the spot according to BBU TV anchor Denise van Outen.

Martine McCutcheon wears a red bikini top, black hotpants and red gloves. Long black hair tied in a sleek ponytail. Jaime Murray wears a bright green bikini top, white knickers and golden gloves. Black hair tied in a sleek ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the bantamweight division.

Round 1:
Despite her dismal record Martine is still the veteran fighter and wants to give Jaime as rough BBU introduction as possible; she comes flying after her with some high jabbing that begins to pierce Murray's guard rather effectively in the opening minute before a clubbing hook on the nose makes the newcomer squeal in pain. Martine's eyes lit up after that sign of vulnerability but a follow up hook on the brow ridge misses then target and allows Jaime to clinch the fellow brunette in the center of the ring. Martine still drops her a few shots on the breadbasket but fails to dissect the high guard thereafter and in fact gets nailed on the counter as Murray rips a left/right combo on the open space and smacks McCutcheon's face late in the rally, too late to save the round but enough to convince Denise van Outen she's got plenty left against the otherwise mediocre opponent.

Round 2:
McCutcheon jumps into a quick leather frenzy but aside from a single left hand on the eye she bounces off the mitts and fails to really punish the younger actress. Instead Jaime triggers another counterpunching display and harrases the Hackney girl with repeated strikes on both cheeks that stall her progress and root her to the spot after a quick hook on the liver area reaches the target. Murray shows superior agility and dekes around a wide response from the veteran thereafter and makes Martine wobble forward to meet a crunching hook on the jaw. She leans on the front leg and pounds the older brunette towards the ropes with a quick flurry and clips the breats to leaves McCutcheon covered up in the final minute and just soaking up midsection abuse. It's a fine change of targets for the newcomer who still lands a piercing hook on the nose when Martine tried to lift her head and work something from the back foot but she remains pegged to the ropes until the bell, barking in anger once the ref separates them.

Round 3:
Martine still believes she can destroy Jaime outright with sheer ammont of punches but her execution is below par in the opening minute of the third and Jaime realizes she's got nothing to be afraid of after a plethora of Hackney leather bounces off the guard causing no damage whatsoever. She roots McCutcheon to the spot with an overhand series and begins to slowly dissect the high guard rocking the older actress back & forth on her feet and romping her back to the ropes in the proccess. Martine scowls in discomfort and looks to mount a challenge from the back foot however her swings are too wide and too slow for Jaime not to take full advantage and she beats her rival for a right on right tearing the skin under her left eye and adding an instant uppercut on the jaw that leans McCutcheon over the ropes and leaves her boobs exposed. Jaime crashes into the obvious target and whoops a classic JMD muggin' even if she doesn't seem to know much about it according to van Outen, still Martine slumps against the turnbuckle and eats more jabs on the ribcage to cry out in pain after the bell looking extremely vulnerable already.

Round 4:
Martine's slow to get up after that previous round pounding and it only gets worse as Jaime blitzes her for another right-on-right that resumes the bleeding underneath the left eye. The Hackney veteran wobbles forward immediately after she just can't stand firm against the Hammersmith onslaught which only fuels Murray's determination to inflict instant pain on her aching opponent. Martine tries to soak up the looming pressure but gets caught with a quick hook to the liver and sobs in disarray as Murray adds a piercing hook on the eye TO SEND HER CRASHING DOWN ON HER KNEES... McCutcheon looks as hittable as ever now and allthough she beats the count at eight, Murray pounces on her wounded flesh immediately after the command and wades in with a facial jabbing series that splits the mitts with ease and dumps the older brunette butt-in-ropes only seeking a desperate clinching respite... Murray rocks her with a clubbing series on both cheeks again and finds that vicious shot to the liver area that gives Martine so much trouble; she lowers her guard again and gets whooped by a heavy uppercut on the chin and leans over the ropes with eyes closed as Jaime mauls her rack over! The Barnet crowd simply lover that performance and wants the newcomer to continue as long as Martine remains upright but once the veteran's arms go numb, THE REF CHARGES IN and hauls Murray off her prey, McCutcheon duly collapses on her knees moments later but it doesn't really matter anymore... TKO4 Jaime Murray!!!

AFTER: That was a fine performance from the raven-haired actress who dazzled the Barnet audience on her BBU debut even against an otherwise very vulnerable opponent. However we've seen plenty of alleged cannon fodder fighters hold their own against the rising prospects and if Jaime Murray ever thinks of intimidating Kelly Reilly outside of a backstage catfight, stopping Martine McCutcheon was effectively required by default! And the Hammersmith girl delivered the goods against the fellow Londoner which only makes her decision to join BBU that much sensible.

It's a rough departure for McCutcheon though, the Hackney girl spends several seconds on all fours before being escorted away to the locker room and still catching Jaime Murray's evil look in the proccess. The winning brunette knows she's got more demanding targets in her way and Martine simply had nothing to offer on her BBU comeback which might see her getting permanently moved into semi-retirement next. Denise van Outen usually finds little sympathy for banged up brunettes and thinks there are one or two bantam blondes left on the BBU roster that can sink that ship yet. Is Martine a fullt-time quitter though? That's a totally different question!

Final result: Jaime Murray def. Martine McCutcheon TKO4.
