TESS VALMORE

GRANDE/AJ LEE A good opening bout. Lee had the lead at the end of three. Grande changed tactics and started to move. She took the fourth, but lost the fifth. In the sixth, the combination of punching and moving had Lee in poor shape at the end of the round. Grande went all out in the seventh. A straight right hurt Lee and a left hook and right uppercut ended the fight as Lee was counted out.

KANE/SCERBO I didn’t give Kane much of a chance against Scerbo. I doubt Garner did either. Kane did manage to take an early lead by winning rounds two and three. After that she a target for Scerbo bombs. Kane barely managed to survive the fourth. She didn’t survive the fifth, as Scerbo landed more big punches with a left to the head and right to the jaw being the finishing punches.Cassie gets a KO5

HALE/RICKARDS Rickards entered the ring undefeated and left with her first loss on her record. The fight was back and forth with Rickards having the lead at the halfway point. Hale turned in a good sixth having Rickards hurt. In the seventh, Hale trapped Rickards against the ropes and unloaded with big uppercut ending Rickards' night

FREGE/RAMBIN Frege had never beaten a Front Street fighter. Well, she has now. Rambin was looking good early. She took three of the first four rounds. In the fifth, Frege hurt Rambin with a left/right combination. Rambin hadn’t recovered at the beginning of the sixth. Frege worked her over and a final flurry of punches was more than Rambin could take and she went down for the count. If Rambin was at the end of the Front Street bench before the fight, I can’t imagine where she is sitting now

ALBA/PIETERSE Alba has been fading for some time. I think we can make it in the past tense now. Alba managed to win the first and third rounds, but sandwiched in between was a Pieterse knockdown. Alba charged out to start the fourth and ended the bout on her back as she was counted out, a victim of a Pieterse right to the head.

DUSHKU/BELLISARIO Bellasario took the first two rounds. Then, Dushku took control and won the next four rounds to take a commanding lead. The lead would be short lived as Bellasario batterrd Dushku in the seventh. In the eighth, Bellisario came out the aggressor and after landing a series of light punches, ended the bout with a left/right to the stomach and a hook to the head that put Dushku down for the count

MICHALKA/DOBREV This was a good active bout, but a little one sided, at least for most of the fight. Michalka took all of the first five rounds, although the fifth round may have been debatable. In the sixth, Dobrev landed a right cross that floored Michalka. Michalka managed to get to her feet, only to eat an overhand right that sent her back down to the canvas, this time for good

SILK/WILDE Silk had a good lead at the end of four. Not only did she win three of the first four, but she decked Wilde in the third and had Wilde just trying survive in the fourth. Wilde started a comeback by taking the fifth. She then floored Silk in the sixth and finished Silk off in the seventh, with a string of hard punches that left Silk seated helpless against the ropes

JOHANSSON/HEWITT Hewitt was looking good early taking the first two rounds, however, round two would be the last she would win. After taking rounds three and four. Johansson caught Hewitt with a left uppercut to the chin and followed up with a flurry of punches that left
Hewitt being counted out on the canvas

MITCHELL/LOTZ Mitchell was in trouble for most of the fight. She was down on the cards at the end of six, having lost four rounds. She came back to post a fine seventh having Lotz breathing hard at the end of the seventh. In the eighth, Mitchell caught Lotz with a left/right to the chin that put her down. She managed to get to her feet, but Mitchell didn’t waste any time and soon had Lotz helpless against the ropes and the fight was stopped Lotz, who was recently cut by Lookout was looking to post a good win in hopes a getting a new stable. Well, good luck with that

DADDARIO/BIEL Maybe this is the fight that will start Biel's climb back to the top. Daddario had done well in her career which is still early. Biel is dangerous as Alexandra found out. Daddario had success early as the took three of the first four rounds. Biel had Daddario swaying the fifth. In the sixth, Biel landed one right uppercut and Daddario was out before she hit the canvas. A good win for Biel, however the loss won’t hurt Daddario much

PEREGRYM/WINSTEAD After Peregrym won the first round, Winstead won the next three to take a good lead. That lead would not last long as Peregrym would dominate the rest of the fight. She took rounds five and six by good margins, narrowly got seven and had Winstead ready to go at the end of the eighth. In the ninth, a series of punches to the stomach set up a flurry of chin blows that sent Winstead down for the count

MOORE/SOBIESKI As so often happened tonight the fighter who had a big lead at the end of four, was the one who lost. This time it was Moore who had the big lead at the end of four. Sobieski won a close fifth. In the sixth, Sobieski landed a straight right that dropped Moore. Moore tried to get to her feet but made it only to her hands and knees as the count past her by

RIGHETTI//KALJICH Of course, I don’t know what is going to follow but this has been the fight of the night by a long shot. I never bet against Righetti. In fact I had a bet on Righetti with a male associate of mine who shall go unnamed. My money looked safe in the first two rounds but by the end of the fifth, I was getting worried because Kaljich was looking awfully good in this active hard punching fight. I felt a little better at the end of the sixth as Amanda had Bianca hurting. In the hard punching seventh, Righetti landed a long right to Kaljigh’s temple and followed with another that ended the fight with Kaljich unsuccessfully trying to regain her feet

KEEGAN/LOHAN JMD I was down in the bar, having a Dark and Stormy

UPTON/SINCLAIR I still don’t know who Sinclair is and I was on my second Dark and Stormy

FISHEL/ROBBIE Another good bout. The bout was even at the end of four. Robbie surged into the lead by winning rounds five and six. Fishel came back to take round seven hurting Robbie with a body attack. Fishel continued the body pounding in the eighth and ended the fight with a right hook to the chin Fishel retains her bantam title

YUSTMAN/LAWRENCE This was a bout equal to the Righetti/Kaljich fight. Active, hard punching brawl. The fight was even at four. In the fifth, after Yustman got a little rough with Lawrence, drawing a referees warning, she ate a pair of hard rights that put on the floor. Yustman was able to struggle to her feet and finish the round. Yustman got a talking to in her corner between rounds and came out for the sixth seemingly recovered. She managed to take the round. In the seventh.a uppercut to Lawrence’s bra and a following uppercut flush to the chin ended the fight. Yustman retains the lightweight title
