ESPN BOXING AFTER DARK SPECIAL

BEFORE: The Jennifer Carpenter pouncing schedule continues tonight as the dark-haired TV actress looks to upstage Empire Boxing veteran Olga Kurylenko to further boost her 2015 recovery procces: "Sure, I'm not exactly championship material anymore but I can still become a thorn in the side for most of these girls! And Olga's really a perfect scalp! Have you seen the 'Spectre' premiere the other day? I bet she wishes it was 2007 again when she milked the red carpet! The only thing red here will be the blood pouring out of her busted up nose though!"
Olga refuses to engage in the verbal exchange before the fight but if looks could kill, Carpenter wouldn't stand much chance and it's obvious that rolling back the James Bond tape doesn't sit well with the Ukrainian-born brunette. She has struggled to find regular work in the ring over the past couple of years but remains the big screen starlet while Jennifer is best known for her TV work, an obvious reason to provide plenty of bad temper when the hammers drops.
Jennifer Carpenter wears a red bikini set and black gloves. Dark brown hair tied in a sleek ponytail. Olga Kurylenko wears a yellow bikini set and silver gloves. Dark brown hair in loose waves. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the lightweight division.
Round 1:
Olga romps into a jabbing fury and outworks the fellow brunette in close range digging at her midriff and rooting Carpenter to the spot in the proccess. The American tries to flick a series over the top but bounces off the guard and eats more furious leather on the ribcage that reels her backwards and enables Kurylenko to switch into a facial assault down the stretch. Jennifer yields real estate and begins to circle around but Olga's too quick for her and retains the jabbing drill to snap her foe's head back and dump her onto the ropes in the final minute. A desperate clinch halts the Ukrainian barrage but Olga still lands several piercing shots to the liver area and leaves Carpenter scowling in anger at the bell.
Round 2:
More quick jabs pierce Jennifer's high guard early on but she finds the neccessary response this time and nails the aggressive opponent with a couple of big hooks on the temples to settle into her stride afterwards. A hectic leather exchange in the middle of the ring brings no real breakthrough until Carpenter clubs Kurylenko's nose and adds an uppercut on the jaw to finally halt the European's menacing antics. Olga bellows out into a tight earmuff but refuses to buckle even when Jennifer rips into her guts trying to push her into the corner. A flurry of jabs from the back foot skims off the guard and the hit & miss tactics dominates the final minute with neither woman able to land that big punch anymore which makes the American even more upset.
Round 3:
Carpenter blasts an initial cross hooking combo straight on target and snaps Kurylenko's head back but then is caught with a wild swing on the nose and wobbles to the side which enables the fellow brunette to add more punches on the mouth and sink the American on her heels. Olga bumps into the briefly stunned opponent and clips her rack before switching downstairs and thumping the midsection to make Jennifer scowl in discomfort. There's no way out from the close range heat and Kurylenko pounds Carpenter back to the ropes where she reverts back into more shots on the mouth to prevent the clinch. Jennifer struggles to stretch her elbows and weaves desperately on the ropes however she still gets caught with more shots between the mitts and allows Olga to run away with an impressive round.
Round 4:
More of the same in the fourth; Olga enforces the close range tangle and beats Jennifer for another hooking combo that finds the nose and bends the American to the side. The arms are slow to rise and Kurylenko pours in with the head hunting galore to sink Carpenter into a moaning struggle which quickly develops a bruising display on the otherwise pretty face. A couple of nasty lumps below the eyes mark Jennifer's embattled presence but that's not good enough for the Ukrainian who targets busting her nose up as well seemingly to make her regret the pre-fight comments. Olga maintains the facial assault and backs a moaning foe into the ropes where she sends a series of quick uppercuts that slice through the guard and connect with the mouth before one last left hook nails the cumbersome American on the nose and bends her against the turnbuckle just seconds before the bell. Carpenter sags on her knees and spits out her mouthguard in frustration but it's clear Kurylenko is close to rolling back some years and stop her otherwise high prospects for a while.
Round 5:
Olga's more relaxed now having won two rounds on the spin but Jennifer comes storming out of her stool one more time and beats the Ukrainian brunette for an overhand combo to burst into the nostrils herself and make the fellow actress squeal for the first time in a long while. A war of attrition in the middle of the ring follows and the head hunting flurry snaps both heads back before Carpenter finds a vicious uppercut on the nose to wobble Kurylenko into a follow up blast on the mouth... Ouch! Olga almost loses her balance and strumbles back on her heels but she's exposed for just a moment and fails to embrace the American slamming a left/right combo into her mounds... Kurylenko squeals one more time and gets rocked by another uppercut on the chin which halts her progress for good and dumps her into a desperate avoding escape in the final minute. Jennifer keeps the close range pressure up though and wrenches her on the ribcage in the dying seconds to trap her in the corner before adding more belting shots on the liver area and sink her on soft knees at the bell.
Round 6:
Jennifer's comeback is on as she enforces more close range pain on the fellow brunette ripping a flurry of hooks to the midsection to upset the head hunting odds. Olga weaves around on her feet but only bounces off the forearms in a sluggish response and fails to stop the American working around her elbows... another chest bump wobbles Kurylenko on her heels and has Carpenter blasting a left hook on the eye that renders her foe frozen so that a follow up on the navel simply bends Olga forward into a sticking pole of leather straight on the nose... AND KURYLENKO'S WHIPPED ON HER BACK momets later crashing down with her nose busted up into a bloody mess... A hard tumble on the boards leaves the Ukrainian brunette counting stars briefly and allthough she tries to get up, the whirlwind nature of the knockdown gets the better of her... she sits down and probably doesn't even realize her nose was ravaged into a seeping nightmare, she's on all fours at six but just can't rise anymore and wobbles down with her head slumped against her forearm and the butt sticking up north... SHE IS COUNTED OUT!!! KO6 Jennifer Carpenter!!!
AFTER: "Stay down!", Jennifer plants her foot on Olga's bum and presses it to collapse the aching opponent on her side before adjusting the winning pose and sticking her boot into the soft gut and raising her arms in the air... Kurylenko can only ache her heart out and smear the blood across her face as she remains in KO daze and offers little resistance when Carpenter orders to have her dragged out of the ring by the security crew...
Let's go down to Erin Andrews who has our winner (and excuse us the rogue language): "What a damn loser! I just smoked her into one big mess and she STILL doesn't know what hit her! Told ya before the fight, I'm no title contender but I can mess up plenty of those ####s! Olga found about that the hard way! (..) What lies ahead? Well, Erin, perhaps that Aussie Enforcer will crawl out of her Asylum junkhole to give me a fight? We all know she's going nowhere as long as Odette has the belts! (laughs hysterically)".
Final result: Jennifer Carpenter def. Olga Kurylenko KO6.
