"It's going to be interesting being the short one, that's for sure!" commented Amy Acker regarding the inch she gave up to her next opponent, Leslie Bibb. "Preparing for this one definitely took me out of my usual rut."

"I think people may have counted me out because I only win half of the time against the number four lightweight, but I plan to surprise a lot of idiots this time around," commented Leslie Bibb, sounding as if she liked her chances.

Bibb, wearing a blue sports bra and shorts, entered the ring first. Her preparations interrupted by Acker, entering wearing red, Bibb scowled as Acker excitedly raised a fist and smiled for the fans. Slamming her own fists together, Bibb glared across the ring until the start of the match.

Round 1
Acker's preparedness made itself clear as she maneuvered herself into position to strike at Bibb, much to her blonde opponent's frustration. Frustration, however, lost to preparedness. Acker showed the ability to deal with her opponent's longer reach early on despite an early high energy start from Bibb. While the taller blonde proved herself dangerous, she left the round clearly behind on points.

Round 2
Once again, Acker took the fight to Bibb, bruising her body and landing a solid right to her jaw in the opening. However, this time Bibb held up under pressure, pushing Acker back instead of getting bogged down, and pummeling the brunette during her moment of weakness. Acker, bruised but determined, frowned and went at Bibb again, only to receive similar treatment, absorbing a solid left hook to the side of the face before retreating.

Round 3
Having struggled in the last round, Acker played it slow in the third. Bibb, facing lighter opposition than usual, tapped Acker from a safe distance continually. Acker defended herself tightly as the round progressed, but absorbed the odd stray hit with minimal response. While Bibb was the obvious winner of the third round, she had still failed to turn her success into something more substantial.

Round 4
Bibb attempted to keep Acker at a distance again in the fourth round, but facing more resistance from the brunette she failed to do so consistently. Spending the first minute struggling to break through and absorbing punches for her trouble, Acker finally outmaneuvered the blonde and slugged her tummy solidly before being driven back. Not discouraged, Acker continued to push her opponent throughout the round with similar results. The back and forth action overall favored Acker, if only because she accomplished more in her brief periods of control.

Round 5
Facing the threat of a slow decline, Bibb met Acker head on in the opening of the fifth. The two fighters clashed, each refusing to back down. Acker broke first, allowing Bibb to counter her with a solid blow to the nose that stalled her offense. With her opponent in trouble, Bibb was able to punish her severely. Acker spent the remainder of the round struggling, peaking when she was in retreat and hitting her low points when Bibb forced her to engage.

Round 6:
Given a breather, Acker entered the sixth round ready to face Bibb again despite her difficulty the previous time around. After another contentious opening, the brunette's perseverance was rewarded when her fist slipped past Bibb's guard, striking the blonde on the chin and knocking her head back. Now it was Acker's turn to pursue her rival while Bibb did her best to slow her own descent. While this was by far the worst round for Bibb thus far as Acker managed to continually wear her down, the taller blonde did manage to slow her furious rival down slightly. However, the blow to the side of the head that Acker landed towards the finish did leave the blonde looking weakened.

Round 7:
Bibb charged Acker again in the seventh, but it soon became clear that the last round had taken plenty of the fight out of her. Facing a vulnerable opponent, Acker quickly had the blonde in trouble. Bibb's attempts to tread water looked weaker and weaker as the brunette knocked the blonde's head about, leaving her bruised and puffy. Finally, looking worn out, Bibb allowed Acker to land a haymaker that spun her around, knocking her to her hands and knees. The blonde gritted her teeth and struggled to rise as Acker leaned over her, smiling and saying something inaudible over the shouts of the crowd. Up before the count of ten, Bibb impatiently endured Acker's teasing as the referee gave her a standing eight count. When the action resumed, Bibb was only able to break even for a moment before Acker began to batter her and force her back. Trapping the blonde on the ropes, Acker clubbed the unresponsive woman's face repeatedly before the referee separated the two women. As the brunette walked away with a big smile on her face, Bibb leaned on the ropes with one hand -- TKO7 Acker.

Acker took a relaxed victory lap while Bibb used the ropes to keep herself upright before going limp on her stool. Despite a few very visible bruises, the victorious actress managed to stay photogenic with a pretty smile and well practiced stage presence. With her opponent in no condition to do anything but sit, Acker made her way out of the ring to address the press.

"I really just thought of her as another opponent to start off," commented Acker. "But when Robyn found out who I was up against next I didn't hear anything out of her besides 'most punchable face' for days. And, you know, it's hard to un-notice something that's been pointed out to you. So I think I made Robyn pretty happy tonight! Not to mention myself."
