Dorota (aka Doda) is back in the ring for the first time since her 7 round defeat by Una Healy, but she won’t have things easy tonight against big punching Gemma.

Gemma’s first to enter the ring in a silver one-piece outfit with silver boots and pink gloves, Doda wearing a black basque and pants with matching gloves and boots.

Round 1

Both girls start in neat style, Gemma landing some crisp jabs, with Doda swatting the Brit with left hooks, Gemma gradually drifting backwards under pressure, and she’s backed into the ropes, Doda finding her range as the round enters the closing stages, and Gemma’s taking some good shots in this round, the Polish babe drilling her with a right cross, and Gemma clinches, then fights back, taking the fight to the singer, and she gets home with three left jabs as the round draws to a close, both girls red faced as Doda establishes a slender lead.

Round 2

Gemma’s starting the second round well, and she gets home with two left jabs without response from Doda, who starts to give ground, stepping backwards, trying to tee off on Gemma now, but the Brit begins to focus on her body instead, and this is good from Gemma, as she begins to work Doda around the ring, but as she tries to pin her in a corner, the singer hits back, and she’s hurt Gemma with a snapping left hook, the Brit staggered by that, and needing to cover up. Doda’s kind of grinning as she stands off, but she gets that grin wiped away as Gemma bats her head upwards with a couple of short uppercuts, and again Doda has to back off, and Gemma’s boxing really well again now, her right cheek swelling, but she’s doing well, making Doda back away again, and hitting her to the ribs, Gemma levelling the score here.

Round 3

Gemma’s off her stool and she’s banginmg Doda backwards again, the Polish girl looking disturbed, but still punching the Brit, her gloves bouncing off Gemma’s face again now, and she’s increasing the pressure on the Brit, finding her face an easier and easier target now, stuffing her right hook into the older girl’s cheek, and she’s bruising her up with these punches, Gemma hurt, covering herself, but not stopping the flow, and she goes down after being hit hard to the body with three left hooks. Gemma’s on all fours and gasping, but she’s back on her feet at 8, but Doda’s trying to finish her off, wiping her face with a lovely pair of hooks and Gemma’s bleeding as the bell ends the round.

Round 4

Gemma’s right eye is very swollen, and a couple more hard left handers reopens the cuts in her cheek and eyebrow inflicted in the third. The referee looks concerned, but Doda hammers away at the English girl’s body, brings down her guard, and punches her one, two, three, four times, Gemma crashing to the canvas, on her back and out.

Result: Dorota Rabczewska knocked out Gemma Bissix in round 4.

Doda enjoys the acclamation of the fight fans as she parades around the ring, while Gemma’s silent on her stool whilst her seconds try to stop the flow of blood from her cuts.
