BEFORE:

"I was, understandably, rusty when I was here earlier this year," Angie says with a gorgeous smile. "I've shaken that off, now, though, and I'm ready to show everyone what I can still do. Hint. It's beat Daniela Ruah."

"I saw plenty from her back in April," says Daniela with a nod. "She's long. She can box. She's dangerous. But. She's not as dangerous as 'The Portuguese Princess', as she's about to find out."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and that's 'Hanky Panky' by Madonna, and here's a girl who certainly still gets plenty of guys thinking about that, the lovely Angie Harmon..."

Cassie: "Here's the part where Mac points out how hot Angie is an how age isn't anything but a number...and, of course, that Angie is a few months older than Mac..."

McCarthy: "Truck, put the camera on me, and, fans, when they do, look at this face and tell me if that's the face of a 43-year-old...HEY! WHAT...WHO IS...THAT'S NOT ME! TRUCK, DON'T MAKE ME COME OUT THERE..."

Tess: "Where did they even GET a picture of Bella Abzug that quickly?"

O'Dell (sighing): "Angie into the ring and helped off with the robe, and THAT white bikini is definitely not showing off the BODY of a typical 43-year-old."

Tess: "Harmon clearly in top shape for this one, as always."

McCarthy: "Well, Scabbo was making a joke at my expense...and she'll PAY...but she IS right. Age isn't anything but a number, and one look at Harmon...or, of course, The Playmate of the Freaking CENTURY proves it!"

O'Dell: "And, that's 'Nothing Else Matters' by Metallica booming through the arena and here comes 'The Portuguese Princess' herself, Daniela Ruah..."

Tess: "This is a big fight for Ruah tonight. She lost some tough ones at welter earlier this year, but bounced back by beating de la Garza her last time out. Win tonight, and she keeps pace in a brutally-competitive seven-fighter lightweight division at Front Street. Lose and she'll find herself looking up at even more fighters."

O'Dell: "Ruah into the ring and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve to reveal that baby blue two piece she likes, and it's time for some picks. Tess favors Daniela. Mac?"

McCarthy: "Nothin'. But. A. Number. Harmon."

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "And, we're underway. Saw a lot of ranged boxing in the last fight, and that's where we're starting in this one. Both of these brunettes are very long, and both like the gun platform stuff. Ruah looking to set up big right hands with that hard Front Street left jab. Angie a little different tack here. She's looking to put together scoring flurries."

McCarthy: "And, Harmon getting that done early, setting up punches nicely and out-working Ruah through the early part of this round."

O'Dell: "Daniela jabbing, trying to get Angie lined up, definitely sitting on that big right hand. Harmon moving the feet very well, showing plenty of head and shoulder movement, making for a slippery target. And Harmon doing an excellent job of getting to good spots to punch. She's scoring well with both hands now."

Cassie: "And, this isn't Ruah doing recon. Harmon's just getting the better of Daniela in this round."

O'Dell: "No question of that. Angie not completely controlling the round, but she's getting plenty of what she wants, and not giving her opponent nearly enough. Coming down to the final seconds now, and Harmon with another nice flurry. Ruah not hurt, but getting touched up a bit. Five seconds to go, and there's the bell. Nice start for Angie, who grabs the first solidly."

Tess: "And, as we often say, it's always nice to start with that 10-9 lead."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Second begins at range again, and Harmon boxing clever. She's all about little shifts and movements, getting the hands going, putting punches together. Ruah a bit more aggressive this stanza. She's letting the right go a bit more, looking to score points rather than just hit something big..."

Tess: "And, it's making a difference. Much more two-way action in this round than we saw in the first."

O'Dell: "Ruah landing with a bit more power than Harmon, no surprise there, but Angie getting plenty of leather home as well. It's back and forth stuff as the two brunettes get into a bit of a rhythm now. Angie with a quick combination, and Daniela responding with one of her own. Harmon firing right back and Ruah responding again."

Cassie: "You know, Angie's got quite a bit of quickness for a fighter over 40. We looked at a lot of video going back several years. Doesn't look as if she's lost much."

O'Dell: "Not so's you'd notice at any rate. Harmon holding her own very well with a younger fighter right now. Daniela getting that heavy left on target and following with a solid right, but Angie flurrying in response. This is going to be close as the final seconds tick away. There's the bell. Ruah's round, narrowly."

McCarthy: "And, we're even at 19."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Third begins with Ruah looking to pressure a little. She's advancing now behind the left jab, looking to get more physical with Angie, get her going backward. Harmon giving ground grudgingly, fighting to hold as much canvas as she can. Daniela resolute, battling her way forward, working some body with the right off the left hand..."

McCarthy: "I was wondering when she was going to try this, because she was finding out Harmon could out-box her..."

O'Dell: "And, Angie hanging in pretty well under this pressure and SHE WOBBLES RUAH WITH A RIGHT HAND! A short hook from Harmon and Ruah's hurt! Angie now stepping in and backing Daniela up with flurry after flurry of punches. Harmon going after her rival in a big way right now, working her to the ropes and hammering away with both hands..."

Cassie: "Dani in serious trouble right now. She's not doing much of anything. And the referee is noticing..."

O'Dell: "Into the final thirty seconds of this thing and Harmon PASTING Daniela! Ref not going to watch much more of this. Ruah clinching now, tying up Harmon. Referee breaking them and Daniela jabbing back a little. Harmon winging away with ten seconds left. Angie not going to find the 'off' switch, the ref is going to hold back and Ruah's going to get out of the third. There's the bell. Harmon wide."

Tess: "29-28, Angie. But that might have been a big opportunity lost."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Harmon applying the pressure now, wants to test out Ruah's legs. And, they're testing pretty well. Daniela holding her ground and firing right back. Harmon not going to keep pressing. Back to range where she can box. Ruah, though, not having any of that. She's coming right back at Harmon behind the left..."

McCarthy: "Typical dumb Front Street stuff. Just got caught doing this, and she goes right back to it."

O'Dell: "And, she's doubling down on it. Ruah even more aggressive here in the fourth than she was in the last round. She's getting Angie backed up very effectively. Has Harmon fighting off her back foot right now. Angie contesting every bit of canvas bitterly, but she can't hold it despite her best efforts..."

Tess: "We talked in the last fight about Klum being able to offset some of Kesha's physical advantage with ranged boxing, well, Ruah's not having any more of that from Harmon."

O'Dell: "She is not. Ruah determined to bring her power to bear on the older brunette, and she's getting that done. Angie not hurt, but she's being tossed onto the defensive now, backed into the ropes as we near the end of the round. Harmon covering up, fighting counter, as Daniela gets off lusty. There's the bell. Ruah's round."

Cassie: "38-38, but that change of terms may loom very large."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "Fifth begins with more aggression from Ruah. Harmon using a slide step now, working hard to stay off square, but Daniela finding with that heavy left hand, setting Angie up for those big rights. Harmon being forced back again as Ruah lands more and more heavy leather. Harmon covering up again after a solid right hand..."

McCarthy: "She's got to do something to keep Ruah off here..."

O'Dell: "Can't seem to get that done. Daniela taking what she wants right now and DOWN GOES ANGIE! Harmon dropped to her hands and knees with a right hook! Ruah quickly to a neutral corner. Count at three. Four. Five. Six. Angie getting to her feet at seven. Referee will give her the mandatory and he'll allow it to continue..."

Cassie: "Lots of time left in this round..."

O'Dell: "And we'll see if it's too much time for Harmon. Ruah's all in here, banging away at Angie, bodying her back into the ropes, thumping her with both hands. Harmon keeping the guard up, willing to take punishment to that toned body an Dani dishing some out, but Ruah concentrating upstairs and SHE WOBBLES ANGIE WITH A LEFT HOOK! Harmon nearly goes down. COMBINATION RUAH SNAPS HARMON'S HEAD BACK AND IT'S OVER!"

Tess: "Ref had to get in there. Harmon's out on her feet."

O'Dell: "And, your winner by TKO5 is 'The Portuguese Princess', Daniela Ruah!"

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Daniela Ruah, and, Dani, looks like Angie got your attention in that third round..."

Daniela (nodding): "I wanted to put some pressure on her and she caught me pretty clean with that hook. After that, I decided it was time to get her out of there. Like Jack Dempsey always said, get them before they get you."

Tess: "Little bit of a slow start to the year for you, but you seem to be back on track."

Daniela (nodding): "Hey, I lost to a couple of great fighters, but those were big opportunities. Around here, when you don't take advantage of those, you have to EARN more. Well, that's what I'm doing."
