BEFORE: Dannii Minogue remains the most fearsome ACB featherweight boxer and she's back in the UK under flyweight scale to try and send former champion Adele Silva into retirement. That's a bold statement from the Aussie powerhouse but ever since "Green & Gold" reported that X Factor star Fleur East smashed Kym Marsh into pieces, Minogue wanted to remind everyone in Europe just how good she is herself. She's avanged the shocking loss to Penny Higgs on home soil already and has plans to do likewise with Geri Halliwell but first she needs to earn some mojo back and treats Silva as nothing else but a dress rehearsal before sone "real" competition.
In other news, Geri Halliwell wants to have a shot at Dannii's older sister Kylie back in America so the much anticipated rematch between these two might have to wait for a while - unless Kylie does the job for the family herself - and the Lioness Club plans to freeze Dannii out with Heidi Range if Silva's unable to do anything about the Aussie brunette.
Adele Silva wears a navy blue bikini and white gloves. Dannii Minogue wears a red bikini and black gloves. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.
Round 1:
Adele looked fired up during the intorductions but she gets the confidence wiped out of her when Dannii begins to bang some nasty leather upstairs seconds into the fight. A close range brawl ensues where Dannii just rips through the blonde's guard and snaps her head back repeatedly sending Silva into a hectic retreat before too long. Adele tries to stay in the exchange looping wide shots from the back foot but Minogue just keeps coming at her and smacks her temples with a vicious rush to dump a moaning blonde onto the ropes half way through the contest. A switch on the guts leaves Silva gasping for air; Dannii leans on her and clips the rack, adds more punches on the temples and pretty much renders the actress into a spectator in the ring which does very little to the blonde's confidence. Adele survives the round covered in tight earmuff but she barely pressured the singer and looks simply lost out there on her return to the ring.
Round 2:
It only gets worse for Adele who is blitzed from the bell and suffers more facial misery as Minogue racks up clean punches that tear the guard into shreds and dump the actress onto her heels within seconds. Adele groans in discomfort and tries to swing back from the back foot but misses badly and is spun back to the ropes when Dannii lands a brutal hook on the jaw... the follow up would have knocked Silva down but the blonde drifted away from the striking range a bit too quickly even for the singer's liking... Still, Adele only bounces off the ropes and has her arms too low to embrace the looming onslaught... DANNII THUMPS HER ON THE JAW again and shuts her eyes before driving a belting hook on the liver area that makes Adele gurgle in pain... AND THE FORMER CHAMP TAKES A KNEE hugging her midsection in the proccess... that was almost done on purpose as Silva simply needed a way out of this Aussie rush... Minogue bunny hops around her for a while and extends the recovery period but it makes little difference since Adele is shut down on the ropes even after getting up and endures more punches crashing into her face and rocking her sideways during the final minute... Dannii settles in full beatdown mode romping into Silva's face like there's no tomorrow and leaves the actress spitting out her mouthguard at the bell looking completely overwhelmed by the ACB super featherweight champ. Heidi Range must be shaking her head back in the locker room if Minogue is indeed set to become her next opponent!
Round 3:
Adele tries to bide some time in mid distance but fails to match Dannii's closing speed and gets clobbered over the top to wobble forward amid another shrieking dismay... Minogue destroys her guard at will and punches clear into the brow ridges, working on shutting the blonde's eyes for good. Adele weaves around on her feet but simply can't raise her arms high enough to avoid the powerful rush and tails off on the minute mark when Dannii catches her with an uppercut double on the chin... she bends forward and bumps her head against the brunette's shoulder before Minogue fires a harpoon on the liver AND JACK-KNIVES THE ACHING BLONDE onto her knees.... Adele gives the towering brunette a hollow stare and shakes her head one last time letting the ref to count her out amid a jeering response from the crowd... KO3 Dannii Minogue!!!
AFTER: That was indeed a mere dress rehearsal for the Aussie singer who's not the most popular woman around Barnet based on her long-time feud with Cheryl Cole! The entire KO Club would like to see the Minogue sisters roasted as often as possible but it's gonna come down to either Heidi Range or Geri Halliwell to do the honors... Cheryl Cole isn't ready to renew her Dannii experience having been blown away twice already but she might take a swing at Kylie next year to beat at least one of the sisters... The writing's on the wall for Heidi Range though even before the clash with Georgia May Foote. Dannii hardly broke sweat taking Adele Silva to the cleaners and remains as impressive as she was back home Down Under.
What about Silva's career though? It's almost impossible to see her back into any sort of contention after this beatdown and many people in Barnet think she didn't even try to beat that second knockdown bcause she knew Dannii would simply blast her to pieces at the very next step. A terrible way to officially remove herself from the sharp end of the BBU flyweight roster. Silva looks done even as a highly-rated gatekeeper...
Final result: Dannii Minogue def. Adele Silva KO3.
