Anna Kendrick (Diamond Boxing) versus Jorgie Porter (Kears Kats)

30 year old Anna has been sparsely used in the FCBA/SSB to date, but she has knocked out her last three opponents, and will want to add 27 year old blonde Jorgie to her list of scalps. Jorgie lost her debut fight against Jane Levy, but she has been fighting in BBU since 2011, and reckons herself to be a better fighter than Michelle Keegan.

Jorgie’s first into the ring, the blonde absolutely stunning in an electric blue bikini with white gloves and boots, and she’s in a different league lookswise to Anna in her black one piece outfit with matching gloves and boots.

Round 1

The girls seem to have decided to have a good look at each other in the first round, with neither of them imposing themself on the other, although Jorgie begins to find Anna with her right jab midway through the round, making the brunette defend before she takes a nasty little barrage of shots to her body, making her wince and retreat, Anna keeping up the pressure for a little while as she tries to sap the blonde’s early strength, Jorgie fighting back in the closing seconds, but not quite doing enough to convince the judges that she’s come any better than second in the opening round.

Round 2

These girls are looking well matched again in the second, even though Jorgie’s beginning to look more and more aggressive, and she lands a few decent jabs in Anna’s face before the older girl can really get into the round. But still Anna comes back with hefty blows to Jorgie’s ribs and midsection as she continues to punish the blonde’s gorgeous body, Jorgie wilting for a few seconds, but she recovers from that as she connects with a sweet left hook on Anna’s jaw, the older girl being forced into defence, covering, then clinching as she winds down the clock, Jorgie sneaking that round.

Round 3

Anna’s putting in some good work as the round begins, again whupping her hooks into Jorgie’s body, poking the blonde backwards as she increases the tempo, Jorgie taking a while to retaliate, but she gives Anna a solid right uppercut from close range to stop her in her tracks briefly, making her clinch again, and even tough Anna still works on Jorgie inside, the blonde’s beginning to exert some control, landing some body punches of her own in response, and those punches seem to have a little more power than Anna’s, as the older girl again gets herself in defensive mode, with Jorgie trying to unlock her guard, unsuccessfully so far, although she’s nicked another tight round.

Round 4

Anna lands to Jorgie’s jaw in the opening couple of seconds, but that seems only to spur the blonde on, as she hits back, swatting a now more open Anna with her heavy right jabs, following with her left hook, and snapping Anna’s head back with a good right cross. Anna’s been set back on the ropes by those punches, but Jorgie doesn’t get on top of her in time, and Anna fends her off, Jorgie looking unhappy, breathing hard, but coming at Anna again, landing her right jabs with ease, Anna’s left cheek swelling under the pressure, but the older girl blocks any more concussive punches well, and ends a big round for Jorgie against the ropes again, with the blonde trying to nail her with her hard punching.

Round 5

Quickly up and into Anna, Jorgie seems to want to take the girl out immediately, and she swipes left hooks at the brunette’s face, but she’s not timing the punches, and Anna gets herself into a good position to defend herself, and gets back at the blonde, snapping her head back with a left cross before digging into her body again, making the younger girl squeak and pant as she starts to hurt her at last, Jorgie’s posture giving a little, as Anna slips her younger oppoenent against the ropes and gives her ribs and midsection some heavy leather, Jorgie still trying to land punches, but she’s lost some of her snap as she begins to tire rapidly, Anna’s efforts to weaken her beginning to pay off.

Round 6

Jorgie looks as though she’s recovered from the punishment she took towards the end of the fifth, and she clips Anna with a good right hook to the jaw, but the brunette shrugs that off, and she whups Jorgie in the ribs with a left, then with a right, and that’s sent her backwards into the ropes, where Anna can give her some more punishment, and Jorgie’s beginning to wilt now, the older girl seeming to think she has the Brit on the rack, and she hits her to the face, lands five shots without response, and Jorgie’s clinching to stay in this fight, blood seeping from a cut on her left cheekbone. The referee drags the girls apart, and Anna’s really in the groove, thuds Jorgie’s head back again and again, the blonde’s legs barely holding her up as she stumbles to her stool after a brutal round.

Round 7

The girls stand back a tad as the round starts, but Anna’s biding her time, and she starts on Jorgie again, knocking her to the left then the right, getting a savage left into the Brit’s belly which almost drops her, but she clinches again. Anna shoves Jorgie back, gives her another right hook, follows it with a left, and Jorgie’s down, looks like she may try to get up, but it doesn’t happen, and she flops back to be counted out.

Result: Anna Kendrick knocked out Jorgie Porter in round 7.

That was a gruelling fight, swinging this way and that, but in the end, Anna’s tactics paid off – she’d weakened Jorgie and finished her off sweetly, but she gives the pretty blonde a big hug after the fight, and holds her hand aloft to share the ovation form the fight fans.
