(The Metermaids vs Fight Club UK)

BEFORE: Lacey Turner is another Fight Club UK's member that makes a long awaited return to the ring and Denise van Outen supports her chances against ACB's Melanie Vallejo who - just like Zoe Naylor - enters the female celebrity boxing competition for a maiden try. Again, the 'Green & Gold Magazine' offers very little inside information on Vallejo but the fans gathered in the Echo Arena simply don't believe another Australian rookie could possibly send another FCUK girl packing tonight! Otherwise this would be a total disaster for the Katie Price-led stable.

Melanie Vallejo wears a bright green bikini and yellow gloves. Dark brown hair in straight, curled at the bottom. :acey Turner wears a red bikini set and white gloves. Black hair tied in a loose bun at the back of her head. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the bantamweight division.

Round 1:
Lacey's hungry for some action and stuns the brunette visitor by thumping her between the gloves and snapping the head back & forth amid a wild cheer from the crowd. Melanie tries to find her rhythm but is shut out in close range and can only clinch the English girl before Lacey slams a series on the ribcage and breaks free again. She beats the Aussie for a quick overhand and sends Vallejo reeling into the ropes where she catches her with another facial assault and takes full control of action bumping into Melanie's cheeks and making her scowl in discomfort at the bell.

Round 2:
Turner's clearly buoyed by that opening round and she stalks the Aussie again looping accurate hooks into her face and just rooting the ACB fighter to the spot. Vallejo's response is sluggish and predictable, a series of hooks aimed at the head is blocked easily and Lacey checks her opponent with a midriff counter to wobble the hapless girl on her feet. Melanie makes a run for it but is trapped in the corner anyway and has to weave away from a looming leather frenzy that leaves her badly shaken up at the bell again. Lacey maintains the high tempo drill and overwhelms the Aussie newcomer through sheer ammount of her efforts.

Round 3:
Melanie finally shows more aggression and slams a left/right combo into Lacey's face that prevents another English charge before thumping her chin on the follow up. Turner wobbles back on her heels and allows the rookie to dish out further punishment that catches her on the temples and dumps onto the ropes behind a tight earmuff. Vallejo throws furious leather trying to dismantle the hitherto dominant rival but lacks precision neccessary to put Lacey away even if the ammount of punches freezes Turner butt-in-ropes and silences the Liverpool crowd a bit. A late clinch salvages the younger brunette's pride in a difficult round but that's still against the FCUK script.

Round 4:
Vallejo fancies her chances openly now and triggers a vicious slugfest that leaves both women nursing plenty of cuts when the gung ho approach brutalizes them in the first half of the fourth round. Neither of them wants to yield an inch but Lacey wobbles to the side after Melanie slammed her on the nose with one uppercut drive too many. She tries to immediately regain her stance but the Aussie whoops her on the follow up and bends against the ropes for good throwing more leather upstairs. Turner scowls out in pain after Vallejo picks her off repeatedly and leans on the English brunette with a flurry of punches that threatens to dismantle the guard alltogether. This is nothing like the opening two rounds where Melanie barely landed a punch and Lacey's face is starting to look really bad when the Aussie tears the left brow ridge into a nasty swelling and ponders splitting her lips with a late combo on the mouth that sags Turner against the ropes with eyes closed at the bell.

Round 5:
There's no stopping Vallejo in her charge now and she catches the English brunette with a quick left/right combo on the chin before slicing her mitts alltogether and ripping more leather into the roughed up face.... Lacey squeals in pain but she can't keep her arms high enough anymore and basically wobbles into a vicious left hook on the ear THAT SENDS HER CRASHING DOWN ON HER BACK moments later... Melanie can smell the victory coming... Turner sits up and stares at her opponent's shins before spitting out a tirade of expletives... she's up at eight but still has that fiery spark in her yes... Vallejo doesn't care about that and leaps into the finishing drive... at least that's what the ACB entourage hopes for... BUT SHE WALKS INTO A RIGHT HOOK on the mouth and Turner leans on the front leg to harpoon the Aussie's soalr plexus on the follow up... she screams out in the proccess almost putting all her energy left into that counter.,.. AND MELANIE SQUEALS HERSELF getting stopped in her tracks and bumping off the English actress unable to find her feet anymore... Turner whips the haymaker on the ear and pulls the plug on Vallejo by thumping her on the solar plexus again... MELANIE'S LEGS GIVE WAY and she crashes down on her back with eyes closed... her painful yelps vanish amid the crowd's rampant cheers and she cannot beat the count... she rolls onto her left side hugging the aching guts and pounds the canvas in frustration when she realizes the ref has counted to ten... KO5 Lacey Turner in come-from-behind fashion!!!

AFTER: Lacey dominated the opening two rounds but was pummelled back thereafter and looked to be doomed when she was knocked down in the fifth... yet Melanie simply failed to finish the job and met the ultimate sucker punch on the response... you don't see that kind of a turnaround very often and Vallejo's inexperience is to blame for her shocking demise when she had Turner at her mercy. That's one of the biggest escapes for Fight Club UK in their history but also leaves more questions than answers regarding Lacey's future. Even Denise van Outen scratches her head over the brunette's prospects. They surely look better than (ex)stablemate Lucy Pargeter's but more tests are required to see whether she can revive the FCUK's stock especially if Katie Price is unable to handle Kim Kardashian in the stable's marquee match-up later this month.

Final result: Lacey Turner def. Melanie Vallejo KO5.
