Tracy Spiradakos versus Jennifer Morrison
(Words: Bazz / Results: Lookout!)

Before: “She’s a bulldog. I know that doesn’t sound nice but it’s true and in the ring that’s a real compliment. Tracy is tough and built to take the punishment. She’s a tough out and everyone knows it, just ask the Wiz and any of his bantams. Still I have enough in the tank, despite the estimates of certain writers regarding age, to make a run at the title and that starts here. If I’m going to make it I’m going to have to get past top notch contenders and Tracy and her crew at Bazz are definitely in that group.” Jennifer Morrison explains from the podium.

“Jenny’s got good management and who knows, we’ve seen worse get to the finish line because they are getting good advice. I think though that despite all her training, and she does look good, I’ll be raising my arms when this is done.” As usual, Tracy Spiridakos is short and to the point in her prefight speech.

Jennifer looking incredible in a white bikini with matching gloves and boxing shoes while Tracy is in Bazz black bikini, black gloves and calf boots. Both girls looking stunning with their hair down and loose.

Rd 1 The fighters meet at midring and start to explore openings. Jenny looking sharp using an advantage in reach to throw jabs and touch up Tracy in the face. Spiridakos going low bobbing in and out attacking the midsection. Both girls looking in great shape and very toned in their “boxing gear” which has brought the crowd into the fight. Morrison staying away from Spiradakos not letting her get close where she can work the body or power through with a punch to the chin. Jennifer shimmies to the left and steps back throwing a jab as she retreats just catching Tracy for a point. Meanwhile Tracy counters by stepping in with a two punch combination that connects to the torso. Jennifer always on the retreat but still landing punches and scoring points. Meanwhile Tracy showing off some impressive power. Every right hand roundhouse landed brings a wince from the blonde and it impresses the judges as the first round comes to a close.

Rd 2 Fighters continuing to stalk each other, Morrison keeping her distance using her reach. Tracy trying to get inside and use her muscle on the blonde fighter. Jenny shifting from side to side keeping Spiridakos guessing and popping a jab when the opening is there. Blonde frustrating Spiridakos with her run and hide technique that ends with a sharp jab and then starts all over again. Spiridakos bounces out of the way of a Morrison jab and leans in close connecting with a left hand and a right hand buggywhip to the torso. The two hand combination momentarily drives Morrison back against the ropes but fails to fluster her. She’s back at the long distance strategy using her jab to touch up Spiridakos to the face. Although the Bazz girl’s combination brought the crowd to its feet it’s Morrison’s methodical strategy that barely wins the round.

Rd 3 Spiridakos tiring of Morrison’s hit and run strategy chases her down at the beginning of the round and forcing her up against the ropes fires off a dozen or so punches to the body and a right cross to the face that just misses. Jennifer scurries out of trouble to midring and returns to keeping Spiridakos at bay with her long jabs and an occasional right hand. Tracy waits for an opportunity and when it comes she’s in low and pushes Morrison back into the ropes with strong punching that is clearly having an effect on the blonde. Jennifer covering up as best as she can taking the punishment and moving out to center ring as quickly as possible. Jenny setting up the jab again a moving target for Spiradakos’ search and destroy strategy. Jennifer reaches out to put a jab on Tracy’s head but the Bazz girl ducks down and with superior quickness weaves her way into Morrison’s undercarriage landing two quick punches that double over the blonde just as the bell sounds. Spiridakos, winning the round, checks out Morrison as she limps back to her corner hoping to take advantage of any weakness going forward.

Rd 4 Jenny out on her bicycle all leggy moving around the ring keeping Tracy at bay with her long jab. Spiridakos enduring point garnering touches on the face and occasionally to the body from a technically profound Morrison. Jennifer doing everything she can to keep Tracy away. She’s backing up and throwing punches off her back foot working very hard to keep Spiridakos out of range. Meanwhile a frustrated Spiridakos is charging hard at the elusive Morrison toughing it out against a flurry of lightly thrown jabs that are nonetheless gaining points for Morrison in this round. After most of the round coming down to an aggressive Spiridakos chasing down Morrison and forcing her into the corners or along the ropes the Bazz girl changes strategy. She stays back on Morrison. Now the two of them are circling cautiously and it is now that much harder for Morrison to score. Once Jenny steps in to throw punches for points Spridakos takes advantage pushing forward and hitting up the blonde beauty with two powerful crosses to the torso connecting hard enough to bring the crowd to its feet. Despite a hopeful ending Morrison has thrown too many touches not to win the round.

Rd 5 After a quick discussion with Lis Rohm in her corner Spiridakos steps out for the round with a less aggressive approach. Morrison now forced to close ranks a bit more in order to score with her punching. Spridakos takes advantage stepping in and hitting the blonde hard to the body. Morrison looking as if the hard punching is having an effect on her. She’s not trying to use her speed to through her jab as Spiridakos is every bit as quick and able to slam her with strong right hands every time she comes into range. Tracy withstanding Morrison jabs steps in the hands up, shimmies to the right and connects with a hard right upper cut to Jennifer’s right side. Crowd on its feet as a wincing Morrison retreats to the ropes where she is taking a pounding from Tracy the bruiser’s vicious combinations. Blonde at a loss on how to get out of her predicament. Spiridakos is strong enough to keep her in the corner and quick enough to catch Morrision anytime she tries to get away. The round ends with Spiridakos dominating and sending a message to the beaten Morrison that she’s in charge.

Rd 6 Girls out at center ring where Jennifer is keeping her distance not wanting to get caught up in Spiridakos’ power punching machine. Unfortunately Tracy catches the lanky blonde lunging in and tagging her with a straight left hand to the solar plexus stunning Morrison. A confused and hurt Jennifer trying to staunch the flow against her when Spridakos throws a two punch combination and DOWN GOES MORRISON! A right hand to the left hand side of her torso sends Morrison down in a heap of pain. She’s visibly grimacing as the ref counts and climbs up the ropes to beat the count. After the standing eight count Jennifer shows she’s game by throwing some crisp jabs and moving around the ring keeping her distance from Spiridakos. The two fighters clinch along the ropes throwing short punches in close. Tracy muscling Jennifer around and controlling the in close fighting. Ref moves in and breaks things up and the two fighters are now out in free space. Tracy throws a right hand to the belly and then reloading catches Jennifer flush on the side of the head and DOWN GOES MORRISON! Jenny down on the canvas again and this time there’s no movement. Blonde hair a mess all over the canvas as Tracy takes and neutral corner and the ref counts to ten and it’s over. Winner Tracy Spiridakos Rd 6 KO!

After: Jennifer Morrison brought around and helped over to her corner. Tracy’s there to help and tell the blonde that she fought well. “Well I’ll tell you she’s as graceful a fighter as I’ve ever faced. That may not sound right using graceful to describe a fighter but you try and dodge those log sweeping punches.” Tracy Spiridakos opines as she chats with the throng of reporters. “If she tightens things up a little and gets the knack of fighting in close and she’ll be just fine. As for me, that’s up to the team of Del Crunchy and Rohm. The beauty of being managed is they handle where I’m going and who I will be fighting to get there and I’m hoping that where I’m going is to a championship fight.”
