BEFORE: German battle royale pins two of the most underachieving players of the past couple of years. Julia Goerges has never hit top speed again after beating then-World #1 Caroline Wozniacki in Stuttgart and slumped badly in the rankings ever since but Sabine Lisicki still dwells on the lost Wimbledon final and even blasting the fastest serve in WTA's history doesn't make up for that upset loss. If you beat Serena Williams you ought to take it to the house but Lisicki simply didn't back in 2013. However if she punches as hard as she serves then she should dispatch Goerges tonight yet one can't take anything for granted with the perky blonde.

Julia Goerges wears a yellow bikini top, blue knickers and blue gloves. Dark brown hair tied in a braid. Sabine Lisicki wears a pink bikini set and black gloves. Blonde hair tied in a braid. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the welterweight division.

Round 1:
Both girls have a very aggressive style and it's all down to execution; unfortunately for the Singapore fans the opening round brings plenty of bad punches that either cut thin air or bounce of the guards. Julia's chaotic stance is more visible as she almost wobbles flat on her face with her swings unable to catch the faster moving blonde and end in rather desperate pursuit down the stretch. Sabine's well aware that the brunette would try and knock her out on the spot but after a sluggish peek-a-boo start she begins to thump more meaningful leather in the final minute and sags Goerges with a right hook on the jaw that serves as the biggest punch of the round. Julia scowls in her efforts to get back at her compatriot but just doesn't have the agility to close the blonde down and almost gets caught with another big hook right at the death.

Round 2:
Sabine stucks some leather into Julia's cleavage and if the WTA ever introduced the JMD concept then the brunette would be a prime candidate to succeed however most of the girls know that too and Lisicki's keen to remove as much air from this obvious target as possible shutting Goerges down in the proccess. She manages to do that with an uppercut thump that makes the brunette yelp but the close range struggle renders her response fruitless and enables Sabine to power ahead with her ideas. She reels the slumping foe onto the ropes and keeps thumping the airbags which leaves Julia gasping for respite but she can't even clinch the blonde and gives up the round on purpose with Lisicki seething in her ear at the bell clearly proud of the rack mauling she just handed the otherwise pretty brunette.

Round 3:
Lisicki stays on top and blasts a left/right cross on the jaw to upset Goerges who was covering up for another jug muggin' attempt, that staggers her on the heels on the spot and underlines the blonde's sheer punching power. A flurry of jabs over the top follows and punishes the brunette's face who struggles to shut the onslaught down and gets pummelled back to the ropes all too easily. Sabine dissects the ribcage thereafter and the versatile approach adds to her advantage with Julia forced to strike back but only graze the blonde's flesh without much significant result. There's just no way out from the close range heat and Goerges' moaning volume increases badly in the final minute whereas Lisicki keeps romping her to the gut and signs off a fine performance with a blitzing hook on the jaw that sinks Julia on soft knees at the bell.

Round 4:
Keep 'em hits coming.... Julia actually finds some cross hooking success in the early stages but Sabine's not ready to back off from her stance and leaps into an uppercut drill that whacks Georges' boobs aside one more time... never saw that coming, huh? If there's anyone to punish Julia's weak spot it's her fellow compatriot and allthough she manages to embrace the early strikes, a belting hook on the liver area makes her scream out and slump against the blonde's shoulder... Lisicki barges ahead and almost lands a knee to the crotch but she wobbles Julia enough on her heels to prevent that and keeps plugging on the midsection to dump the brunette on the ropes with eyes closed. Another left/right cross finds the jaw and shuts Goerges' eyes for good leading the way to a furious blonde charge that leaves multiple lumps on the otherwise pretty face. Julia is almost punched into a standstill and escapes the looming demise only because the clock expires a little too quickly for Lisicki to complete the demo job.

Round 5:
Julia's face doesn't look all that fresh anymore and she can only wonder if Sabine will punish her boobs as well; she finds the answer very quickly as she fails to prevent a blonde rush that BELTS HER ACROSS THE LIVER AREA and the poor brunette guessed it wrong protecting herself upstairs too predictably for Lisicki not to expose that... another harpoon crashes into the brunette's liver and bends her forward hugging the wounded spot with a loud scream which allows the blonde to crack the haymaker she was looking for all the time.. a truly brutal left cross tags the brunette's jaw AND FOLDS HER FACE-FIRST ON THE CANVAS in no time... Lisicki punches the air in delight as she watches Julia spit out her mouthpiece but there's no worse feeling than to get knocked out by a fellow compatriot when the national pride is on the line... Goerges makes a brave attempt to get back into this contest and scampers back on her feet at eight however she fails to maintain her balance and wobbles into referee's arms... she shoves her away and wants to fight but the knees buckle one more time and dump her grabbing the ropes in order to stay upright... this one is a no-go and ref halts the action with Julia just unable to shake off the dizziness. TKO5 Sabine Lisicki!!

AFTER: Angelique Kerber might have been really upset that Sabine and Julia get all the attention but is she willing to take that fellow blonde punch anytime soon or will she pounce on the obviously hittable brunette instead? Sabine's open to all the scenarios and while she tries to hug the demolished Goerges for some German solace she indicates that Julia's defence is simply not good enough to embrace the jug pounding that usually leads to the point of no return: "All of WTA knows that, first you punish her boobs and then she's fading fast. And I mean really fast! Julia's lucky she punches hard enough to make Caroline Wozniacki her favorite training sack but with the exception of Daniela Hantuchova I don't think she has much chance against fellow big hitters like me and Angie Kerber. What can you do? At least she can sell swimsuits anywhere in the world if she wants to start a new career in glamour (laughs)".
