BBU BOXING DAY PPV

(Frankie's Foxes vs Lioness Club)

BEFORE: Leigh-Anne Pinnock is the first of the Little Mix crew to make an appearance on the Boxing Day PPV card and while she's harrassed Heidi Range on twitter, the blonde's upset win over Dannii Minogue raised her financial requirements and forced Frankie Cocozza to accept Emma Bunton as a temporary replacement on Pinnock's hit list. Let's make no mistake here, Bunton's career is on the rocks as of December 2015 and another defeat here in Cardiff tonight might see her heading down the retirement road next season already.

Meanwhile Pinnock is very keen to repeat the Jade Thirlwall antics that earned her a place on the flyweight title tournament and many BBU pundits believe she can be as effective as her Little Mix bandmate and it's simply down to circumstances that Thirlwall seems to be the leader of the gang right now. Pinnock shouldn't be overlooked by anyone in the BBU and blasting out a veteran pin-up name like Bunton would be huge for her confidence!

Leigh-Anne Pinnock wears a red & white striped bikini top, red knickers and white gloves. Black hair in loose curls. Emma Bunton wears a pink bikini top, blue knickers and blue gloves. Blonde hair tied in a sleek ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.

Round 1:
Emma knows she needs to make her moves fast if she's about to cause Pinnock some trouble but the brunette blocks off the early jabbing series and responds by piercing the blonde's guard instead and shutting her down towards the corner thereafter. Leigh-Anne acts like she's the ring veteran and steadily leans on the front leg looping more strikes into the blonde's face and come the two minute mark Bunton must deke to the side to catch some breath as she's under constant pressure and just doesn't have the strenght and agility neccessary to avoid the aggressive route. Pinnock blasts more jabs up the middle and bumps a lacklustre former Spice Girl butt-in-ropes and signs off the round with a quick belting series on the guts that makes the blonde squeal in discomfort.

Round 2:
More pressure coming from Pinnock who simply buries the veteran under a hectic leather rush and pounces on the visibly inferior movement of the blonde. Emma tries to hang in there in close range but gets belted across the ribcage and wobbles forward to find Pinnock's drilling uppercut that sinks her on the knees on the spot. Emma wants to get out of there in a hurry next but her feet stay behind and Leigh-Anne drives a brutal left hook on the nose TO SEND BUNTON DOWN ON HER BACKSIDE in a split second move. That makes Frankie Cocozza extremely happy in the front seats and for a moment he even avoids Havana Brown's attention to gesture at his fighter in joy. And Leigh-Anne really enjoys seeing the renowed opponent trying just to scamper back on her feet. Emma's getting exposed after the seven count on the fly as she reels back to the ropes under more overhand assault and ends the round trapped in a shaky earmuff with Pinnock blasting more jabs up the middle and sagging the Barnet veteran with every strike landed. What a nightmare for the Lioness entourage!

Round 3:
Emma was lucky to escape the previous round without significant damage to her face but she has little to offer for Leigh-Anne's uptempo approach and bellows out into a desperate mix of earmuff and clinching but that halts the brunette's charge only for a little while. The blonde ponytail is send for a quick ride past the minute mark and Bunton is getting hammered back to the ropes unable to meet the requirements whereas Pinnock continues on the speedy route and plugs along tagging the blonde's face into a set of swollen lips and a nasty cut under the left eye in the proccess. The ammount of punches crashing into Emma's face drops in the final minute but it's a pillar-to-post beating nonetherless with the veteran looking all her 39 years and a change as she leans against the ropes with a loud yelp and has no idea how to stop Leigh-Anne mercilessly roughing her up.

Round 4:
Emma slumps on her stool and has the cut under the eye patched up but she can't even find a single punch to upset her rival's progress and is quickly dumped onto the ropes in the fourth again with Pinnock driving more jabs upstairs and snapping the blonde ponytail like it's the best thing in the world. The gasps are getting louder and louder but only when Leigh-Anne switches back on the exposed ribs to avoid the desperate high earmuff she bends Bunton to the side and harpoons her guts to make her scream out and just sink against the turnbuckle... a quick left cross finds the nose and another one from the right tags the jaw TO SEND EMMA CRASHING DOWN ON HER SIDE for the second time tonight. It's a messy sight for all the Spice Girls fans as Emma looks every bit a spend force nowadays however she still beats the count at eight albeit with a very hollow set of eyes... Leigh-Anne gestures at Frankie Cocozza and loses her focus for a moment after Havana Brown mounts his lap and once the fight is resumed a spooked Bunton basically circles back into mid distance giving up any ideas for the fight and must be thankful that Pinnock lost her composure after seeing Frankie more interested in Havana's cleavage rather than a looming Foxes' victory. Ouch!

Round 5:
Leigh-Anne's back in the groove and quite frankly Emma looks like she wants to get out of Cardiff as soon as possible; the brunette duly helps her on the way as she bumps into the swollen face with a quick jabbing set and bends her to the side with a drilling uppercut that leaves Emma staring at the fellow singer with eyes wide open... Pinnock zips past the slow moving guard with a left cross and adds a right hand on the nose to wobble the blonde forward and unfortunately that's as far as Bunton goes before she can't plant her feet properly anymore and Pinnock lifts her off the canvas with a mammoth uppercut on the jaw... BUNTON FOLDS LIKE A CHEAP TENT and crashes down on her face spread eagle... down and out... KO5 Leigh-Anne Pinnock!!!

AFTER: Leigh-Anne doesn't even bother to humiliate the fallen blonde any further and tries to chase Havana Brown away from Frankie Cocozza's lap but to no real avail. Looks like the Foxes owner has found himself a new girl to scribble on for a while and Leigh-Anne has to turn her attention back to Heidi Range because quite frankly she left Emma Bunton crippled tonight and might have just filled in the retirement papers for the beloved Barnet veteran. It's not 1997 after all and the ship has sailed for Emma according to Denise van Outen who openly questions whether the hapless singer can actually win a BBU fight anymore? Mollie King blasted her out in emphatic fashion earlier this year and now Leigh-Anne Pinnock completed the wreckage. There doesn't seem to be much left in Bunton and aside from Geri Halliwell still chasing Kylie Minogue over in the States, apparently the Lioness Club based Spice Girls are all heading into coaching & assistant roles next season.

Final result: Leigh-Anne Pinnock def. Emma Bunton KO5.
