BBU BOXING DAY PPV

(Frankie's Foxes vs Garnet Gunners UK)

BEFORE: Little Mix's Jesy Nelson remains winless in BBU and most of the experts consider her the weakest link of the band as well as the Frankie's Foxes stable which suffered a blow out loss for Amelia Lily Oliver tonight already. However the proud singer targets a Nadine Coyle-like revival and thinks she can finally break the curse and beat Gabriella Cilmi for her maiden victory.

Meanwhile the Aussie brunette is perhaps unfortunate rather than lacklustre having fought extemely superior competition in most of her bouts to date. Even her last contest against Ellie Goulding ended in another defeat which then fuelled the blonde's crossover move to America. Denise van Outen reckons though that Cilmi should beat the stuffing out of Nelson tonight and if she doesn't, she's lost for any significant future in BBU wholesale.

Jesy Nelson wears a navy blue bikini and white gloves. Dark brown hair straight. Gabriella Cilmi wears a black bikini and red gloves. Black hair tied in a sleek ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the bantamweight division.

Round 1:
Frankie Cocozza is back in the front seats cheering for his stable - and surprise, surprise - Havana Brown is on his lap already, the pretty blonde destroyed Amelia Lily Oliver earlier tonight and channels the bonus features despite Leigh-Anne Pinnock's clear objections - and that's actually the biggest news of the opening round as both Jesy and Gabriella give each other far too much respect showing lack of confidence in the proccess. It's the slowest start to a fight on the card with single punches from both sides causing zero trouble and next to none excitement. But Frankie's more interested in Havana's cleavage to give Jesy a real pep talk during the interval while the twitter explodes with more juicy rumours about his latest conquest.

Round 2:
Finally some decent action to lure the crowd's interest away from Frankie & Havana as Cilmi romps into Jesy's midsection and pounds her sideways in the middle of the ring before searching a drilling shot to the face that never materialises and allows the Little Mix brunette to escape into mid distance. However the Aussie singer shows significant hassling skills and beats the retreating opponent for a fine hook on the temple and dumps her onto the ropes with a left/right combo up the middle. Nelson's guard is really suspect at the very least and she soaks up a jabbing series before sagging on her knees and Gabriella must be shocked how easily she can land her punches and just bend the British girl against the turnbuckle to run away with the round without any serious problems whatsoever.

Round 3:
Someone needs to show Jesy how to box since she cuts thin air in a fruitless recovery motion and Gabriella sinks her with a belting hook on the ribcage before driving more uppercuts on the chin and just reeling the hapless Brit back to the ropes where she maintains the midriff drill and makes Jesy drop her guard wholesale. A bumping uppercut snaps her head and she actually never notices a left hook on the temple that bends her against the turnbuckle one more time. Cilmi's punching strenght is a known liability and despite her best efforts to punish the liver area she simply can't make it happen and allows Nelson to clinch her for most of the final minute which sucks all the aggression out of her attire on the spot. This is a wooden spoon kind of a fight according to Denise van Outen and unless Jesy can actually show some skills it's gonna be extremely hard to see it end quickly.

Round 4:
More lacklustre punches from both sides and Jesy just seems relieved about Cilimi's lack of production. After a lenghty clinch in the opening minute the Little Mix brunette bumps her opponent off and launches a rare attack upstairs but wobbles too far forward and for once Gabriella flicks her feet around the sluggish foe quickly enough to whack her across the mouth and dump on her heels with a quiet yelp. Cilmi jumps into a facial frenzy afterwards and reels Nelson back to the ropes but even the double uppercut move doesn't send the Brit down and the Aussie must barge into the jugs to finally increase the moaning volume as Jesy tries to shake her off but strumbles back against the turnbuckle and eats a quick right hook on the mouth right at the bell.

Round 5:
Jesy's opening drive aimed at the ribcage stalls after she skims off the forearms and just can't master that quick release allowing the Aussie to deke away from danger instead and launch a jabbing series from the back foot that clips the nose and wobbles the Brit forward. Cilmi stuns her with a couple of uppercuts on the chin and delivers a follow up on the left brow ridge to make her scowl in pain but that's not the worst news for Frankie C. and his crew as Gabriella finds a piercing jab on the solar plexus and adds another uppercut that renders Jesy numb and stumbling against the turnbuckle. The Aussie leaps into immediate cross hooking route and drops the fellow brunette's guard before blasting a left hook on the ear AND SPINNING NELSON FLAT ON HER FACE in the corner... that was impressive stuff from one of the weakest punchers in the division but Jesy's guard was simply absymal and the poor girl can barely beat the count at eight only to endure more facial misery as Cilmi traps her in the corner and hammers along on the gut to leave the Little Mix gal spitting out her mouthguard at the bell and hugging her ribs in visible pain.

Round 6:
It seems like Frankie has given up any hopes on Jesy's comeback and the poor brunette gets whacked on the nose immeidately after the opening bell of the sixth with Gabriella lashing out her in ferocious fashion. Nelson gets rooted to the spot and can only clinch herself into safety very briefly but when the Aussie begins to stalk her ribcage, she lets go of her and wobbles towards the ropes where she gets caught with a left cross on the eye before a right hand on the chin bawls her eyes out AND DUMPS HER FLAT ON HER FACE for the second time tonight already... Jesy manages to lift herself up on all fours at seven but that's as far as she goes and she bursts into tearful spasms once the count passes her by and the brutal reality kicks in... KO6 Gabriella Cilmi!!!

AFTER: Well, the Aussie singer's lack of core strenght actually wasn't even as bad as Jesy's woeful punching resistance and it's a major cause for concern for all ya Little Mix & Frankie Foxes' fans. Perrie Edwards suffered a torrid start to her BBU career over two years ago but quite frankly Jesy looks even more hittable and lacklustre in the ring than her bandmate and that's truly taking the jobber tag into another level. Leigh-Anne Pinnock quickly makes her way to the ring to escort the sobbing Jesy back to the locker room but Frankie Cocozza doesn't seem worried about the second defeat of the night for his crew at all as he enjoys Havana Brown licking his ear and placing her hand around his zipper. That even makes Georgie Thompson and Denise van Outen totally disgusted and the BBU TV couldn't ask for a better reason to go on a commercial.

Final result: Gabriella Cilmi def. Jesy Nelson KO6.
