On the second night of the event, the stakes were clearer. Both Dash and Barrymore were safe from the ban, but were in competition for first place -- and the chance to throw a punch that ends a career. Balk and Thorne were fighting for survival. The former pair had engaged in some fairly predictable posturing, but the latter had avoided contact with the press during the build up.

Dash entered the arena first, wearing blue athletic wear and striking a pose outside the cage to the crowd's noisy approval. Dash's statements had made her noteworthy, if only because she promised a good show one way or the other. Barrymore, in yellow, merely jogged down the ramp, looking happy to be up against her latest rival. Both women looked pleased as McGowan locked the only exit and his the key on her person.

Round 1:
The fight began poorly for Barrymore, much to her apparent surprise. The blonde stood her ground defensively early on, but soon Dash broke through, slipping a punch through Barrymore's guard and striking her face. Dash's follow up was enough to knock Barrymore's head to the left and back again, leaving the blonde unable to pursue any goal other than staying in the fight. While she did recover, Dash continued to apply pressure; at all times, Barrymore was either on defense, or having her defenses broken.

Round 2:
The second round started similarly to the first, with Dash pummeling the retreating Barrymore. However, the blonde held up under pressure better on her second try, protecting herself and counterpunching efficiently. The round proved difficult for both women, as Dash was continuing at a fast pace, while Barrymore was constantly one mistake away from a serious beating.

Round 3:
The third round was also close; Dash pulled back slightly, allowing Barrymore a breather while picking her shots more carefully, while Barrymore took the chance for an easier round, keeping Dash in check while still in a slow retreat. The exchanges favored Dash, who forced several head shots through, though none slowed the blonde down. Barrymore, meanwhile, was far from harmless, earning obvious respect from Dash with her effective counter attacks.

Round 4:
The two fighters remained in their routine for the opening of the fourth round, only to be rudely removed from it as Barrymore landed a strong hit to Dash's face in response to the other actress' miss. Dash, rattled, pressed on, but in the next few seconds Barrymore was able to land a solid combo to the other woman's face. Now in trouble, it was Dash who found herself retreating, but less adeptly than her opponent had managed so far. The end of the round saw a complete reversal of momentum.

Round 5:
Rested, Dash was able to replicate her earlier success in the fight, slowly stalking her blonde rival about the ring and controlling the pace, but doing little damage. Once again, towards the close of the round, Barrymore landed a well placed counter, knocking Dash's head back. Already worn down, this time it was enough to send the taller actress backwards, landing in a sitting position with her gloved hands propping her upright. As Barrymore pointed and laughed, Dash shook her head and rose to her feet immediately, rejoining the fight. However, with little time left, Dash had no chance to take the round back.

Round 6:
The sixth round played out predictably as Dash continued to struggle, with less energy left to keep Barrymore under control. The blonde took advantage, tentatively at first, then more boldly once it became obvious that Dash was no longer able to compete. Now free to finish her rival off, the blonde did so gleefully, pummeling Dash's face before landing a hook to the temple that buckled her legs. Dash flopped to the mat, making no effort to slow her fall, and slept through the count, face down with her butt in the air. Barrymore managed to laugh and push the defeated woman onto her back with one foot before McGowan could step in, embrace her, and keep her distracted until Dash could be carried off -- KO6 Barrymore.

"Now I get to find out who I get as my victim. Do I want to beat down Fairuza again? It was fun the first time, but I think there's something to be said for variety." Barrymore, still bruised, had recovered well before addressing the press. "Fairuza and Callie, if you're listening, you'd better win tonight or you're finished! Good luck!" The victorious actress was cheerful when issuing her threat, but she had certainly proved herself capable of backing it up tonight.
