Taylor Swift versus Rachel Platten
(Words: Empire / Results: Lookout!)

Before: "I've considered Taylor a friend for some time, but my handlers feel now is the time for make my mark in the league. Hopefully we will still be cool after tonight smirks a confident Platten.

"Rachel thinks I'll be an easy out...well she's going to be in for a long night. I'll show her and all of the other rookies that I'm no stepping stone. Tonight I'll prove that I'm going to be a force in this division for some time!" states a clearly irritated Taylor Swift.

Platten in a white bikini, matching gloves and boots, blonde hair in a loose ponytail. Swift in a baby blue bikini, matching gloves and boots, short blonde hair loose. Fierce looks exchanged during the refs instructions, ladies refuse to touch gloves, stomping back to their corners.

R1: Rachel eager to make an impact storms forward spooking Taylor who's still receiving late instructions, and peppering her with hooks to the body as Swift wraps her arms around Rachel's shoulders, stumbling into the corner for an early ref break. Once seperated Taylor seeks to deploy her jab and move rather than engage in a toe to toe battle. Platten tries to cut the distance but is unable to work her way inside as she receives a steady dose of long limbed jabs forcing her to cover up as Swift peppers her with short flurries before retreating back outside. Platten gambles and springs underneath a Swift left to swivel her head with a left uppercut sending her backpeddling to the ropes. Swift covers up earmuff as Platten grits her teeth and swings away with right hooks to the belly and underneath the left elbow. Rachel chesting up at the bell, power trumping height through the first.

R2: Taylor deploying the left jab, needling at Rachel's guard while keeping her right at her chin. Swift moving well, evading Platten's charges and stunning her with a counter hook. Swift bares her fangs, leaning into her foe while swinging away lustily. Platten landing her own flurries to the body, but unable to find her footing, dropping the round on sheer volume.

R3: Taylor taking the initiative, working behind her jab, turning Platten and clubbing away with rights to the body sidestepping to keep her foe in front of her jab before retreating. Platten unable to mount any real offense, frowning as she is tagged repeatedly. Swift nodding at the bell, banking her second straight round.

R4: Rachel smoulders forward, teeth bared, eyes narrowed as she deflects a Swift jab and tears into her foe with compact hooks. Taylor with her glove up, rolling punches, peppered with flurries to the head and shoulders as she recovers from the pace of the previous rounds. Rachel trying to take away Swift's legs as she leans into her foe, battering her in the mouth with her forehead and bombarding Taylors body with hooks to the belly winning sobs on anguish from her foe. Round ends with Swift leaning down, draped over Platten, eyes moist with tears as her body is reduced to jell-o in the fourth.

R5: Platten looking to continue the previous rounds punishment, battering Swift with her left shoulder while bodying her into the neutral corner. Rachel swinging away, clubbing away at Taylors body while using her frame to pin her against the turnbuckles. Swift wrestling with Platten to free her left and unleashes a slinging hook that pops her head back and stumbling to the ropes. Swift nails Platten with a pair of hooks blasting through her guard and sending her to a seat on the ropes. Taylor grits her teeth, swinging away as Platten sponges up punishment. Swift nails Rachel with yet another sequence bringing her hands down just as the bell sounds. Platten slumps to a seat on her stool, whining and blubbering as her seconds try to revive her!

R6: Rachel pushed upwards off her stool, forms earmuff as she stumbles into the ropes, still dazed. ON COMES TAYLOR! Swift leaning into her foe, bringing he head downwards while blasting her to the body with right uppercuts to the belly button and breasts winning tears from Platten. Swift shoveling shots to the body before landing a heartbreaking uppercut sending Platten spiraling into the cables, entangling her left hand before dropping to the canvas. Taylor bellowing downwards as she's bodied off by the ref, Platten fighting to rise. Unable to get to a knee as the count passes her by! KO6 Taylor Swift!

After: Taylor steps over Rachel, leaving her out cold on the canvas and heads out of the arena after her big victory. However, rumors later place her at the offices of Empire Boxing. As to what was discussed, who knows? One can only guess! But, regardless, a big win for Taylor here to start off 2016!
