Before: Mish making the contract limit of 110 for this fight, but come fight night she's clearly the fuller bodied blonde next to whippet fit Aguilera. Christina bringing her reputation as a stunning puncher into a bout with a notoriously strong willed opponent - there can be only one. Aguilera in white bikini top, draw string white pants - Mish in leopard print sports bra and loincloth over black spandex shorts.

During R1: Aguilera sends a message with the fight's first punch, a singing overhand right thrown wild from the knee that catches Mish hard on the eye, sending her staggering to her right in a daze. Christina follows up with questionable tactics, harming Mish low up against the ropes, throwing elbows to that left eye to bust Mish up, and punching Williams in the back of the head to draw Referee warnings. Through it all, Williams refuses to go down, and by the final minute, she's wading into Christina, bouncing fists off that bony torso that have Aguiler gurgling in retreat. Wild opener - Mish already leaking from a swelling left eye.

R2: More hammer and tongs warfare - Aguilera brawling senselessly, whipping lefts and rights wide, Mish with her guard high, more compact, more selective and working the body in contrast to Christina's wild head hunting. Williams concentrated hacks to the midriff have Chris sucking wind after a minute and at the half way point, a draining series of lefts and rights forces Christina to turn away in pain and take a knee. All Mish to the bell when Aguilera takes 8 - she bulls Chris to the ropes and hammers the hips and waist with clubbing abuse.

R3: Aguilera still bathing MIsh in leather, sweeping lefts and rights across the target - Williams blocking much of the output, but she's getting outworked on the offensive end. Aguilera starting to move after she gets off, adds to Michelle's frustrations - Williams dropping the round as Chris gambles, doesn't pay.

R4: Great pressure round for Williams, staying in a tight guard, bobbing inside to set up on Aguilera's skimpy chest and putting leather on meat from bell to bell. Chris getting bullied, back against the ropes, trying to cover up, but Williams grinning, pumping her fists into the chest, ribs and belly, hammers her way past those scrawny arms and leaves Aguilera vibrating at the bell.

R5: Christina Aguilera takes this fight by the throat, dishing out a hellish beating this round in 3 minutes of flush power punching rarely seen at this weight. Overhand rights from well outside get the ball rolling early, busting open that eye and leaving Williams staggered. Midway through the round, Aguilera swinging from the hips breaks Williams down with a slashing left uppercut, overhand right on the face - Williams spilling backward several steps to hit the ropes out on her feet. Final minute is a vicious beat down, Williams seated ropeside, gloves loose at her lips, eyes swelling shut, hair clamped wetly to her face as Aguilera sets up and chugs away - thin arms lashing back and forth across Williams face in a merciless swath of destruction. At the bell, Aguilera screams in delight at the carnage - Williams unrecognizable and unable to find her corner on her own. Mish refusing to quit, mumbling objections through broken lips.

R6: More crashing right hands rain down from Aguilera - she's obsessed with putting Mish down, refusing to go to the body as she bounces punches off that ruined face. Williams getting rocked onto one foot, continues to plow forward, and by the final minute she's got her mouth on Christina's shoulder, pumping blindly to the singer's flat abs with both hands.

R7: Shutout Aguilera, but she's losing some pop - Williams unable to see the incoming, head snapping left and right like Arturo Gatti fielding punches, but still stomping forward and shaking off the punishment now as Christina's power fizzles. Williams taunting at the bell, pointing at her chin as Aguilera sneers.

R8: Mish walking her girl down - Aguilera could be tired! Williams rolling her shoulders in close, scrubbing gut and forcing Aguilera to a seat on the ropes. Savage work in behind the elbows has Christina trembling, covered up and midway through she sinks to the canvas for a second knock down. Up at 8, clearly hurting, Aguilera covers up again and gives up her sides to Michelle's cruel strokes. Shutout Williams, who pushes wetly up off her opponent after a steamy 8th.

R9: Christina buying time with her legs, hands low, stopping her hopping long enough to sling a wild right overhand or clapping left, then scooting away as Michelle stalks. Williams ineffective getting potshotted, can't cut off the ring despite issuing constant invitations to fight.

R10: Williams back on top, walks the smaller girl to the ropes and goes to work - short clipping shots, all hips and shoulders behind them. Aguilera covering up, laying in tight, getting beaten raw to the ribs, and taking a few clouting right hands across her jaw, suddenly comes to life in the final minute. A licking right uppercut bats William's mouthpiece out and she stops punching. Another uppercut has Williams hurt - Aguilera spins off the ropes as Mish falls face first into them. Chris cranking it up for the final 30 seconds, lays in with wide lefts and rights, pulling her punches across Williams battered face - Mish with gloves at her chest, taking stupidly as she is pounded out on her feet once again. Goes the distance with Aguilera leaping and pumping her fists at the bell. UD10 Christina Aguilera as a badly battered Michelle Williams wanders the ring in a daze.

After: No doubt about it, Aguilera doesn't carry quite the same pop against the more solid junior bantams, but she's still a vicious, slicing puncher and she had Williams hurting throughout this bout with very picturesque, extended punching sequences. Williams proving her toughness, beaten into a groggy haze, but still throwing punches herself not impressed in post fight comments, but then again, she hadn't seen a mirror at that point.
