BEFORE: This is probably the biggest unheralded rivalry in BBU but the fact that Gemma Merna and Kara Tointon are set to duke it out for the fourth time in their careers already leaves little room for complaints. Gemma's a former champion and a JMD hopeful in her own right but she just can't seem to find Kara's number losing to her twice and only securing a single draw before. Denise van Outen thinks if Tointon cleans out her clock again tonight, this rivalry might not see another chapter as even the otherwise stubborn Lookout! Atlantic crew will pursue different targets for their buxom Hollyoaks blonde.

Meanwhile Kara hasn't seen as much regular action as she wanted to in the past couple of years and that's the main reason she can't quite break the gatekeeper status despite leading the Double A flyweight roster. Even her win over Nikki Sanderson last summer was actually overshadowed by a loss at the hands of Cheryl Cole and the "one step forward, two steps back" policy seems to be permanently hampering her progress. However beating Gemma Merna for the third time might just be what the doctor ordered for the EastEnders starlet who can profit from Ola Jordan's spectacular loss to Dannii Minogue just minutes ago especially if Lily Allen removes Jenna-Louise Coleman from the flyweight throne.

Gemma Merna wears a navy blue bikini with black trim and white gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a loose bun at the back of her head. Kara Tointon wears a red bikini set with black trim and black gloves. Long light brown hair tied in a sleek ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.

Round 1:
Kara isn't entering JMD rules anytime soon but it's too obvious to stalk Gemma's rack and even the blonde herself gets jumped into a cleavage punishment as the brunette rips into her boobs from both sides and stacks her up in the opening phase to immediately win the crowd's support. Furious leather barrage from Kara wobbles Gemma back and allthough she cracks a fine hook on the brow ridge in response, she can't shake the jug muggin' tactics off and has to jump to safety instead. However Tointon hassles her with a quick switch upstairs and finds the nose a couple of times before adding another hook on the eye to reel Merna onto the ropes come the final minute. A steady rush to the body keeps the blonde on her heels and even a late clinch doesn't rescue the round anymore with Kara clearly on top of a familiar victim at the bell.

Round 2:
Gemma isn't quick enough on her feet according to most pundits and Kara easily drags her into a war of attrition that makes the blonde wince in pain once the rack assault takes it's toll again. Merna swings with a lot of power but can't find the big punch on the money while the brunette's intensity prevails without much trouble and sends the Hollyoaks girl on her heels before too long. Single punching response from Merna keeps missing the target and Kara switches upstairs to punish the temples come the final minute slowly backing a very subdued blonde towards the ropes where she spikes her midsection for a good measure in the final seconds of another dominant round.

Round 3:
Tointon hoofs Merna's mitts aside seconds into the third and keeps picking her off in close range; a sluggish body assault briefly brings the blonde some success but once Kara digs her elbow into Gemma's rack again, she wobbles the chest-heavy opponent and beats her for a quick uppercut on the jaw. Merna is just not liking this at all and begins to scowl in anger as she leans forward and somehow tries to find her stride but Kara dances around her in avoidance before firing over the top and blasting more painful hooks into her cheeks. Merna steps back and circles away with her arms dropped to the side but the only smile inside the ropes belongs to the brunette who openly mocks her rival's performance: "So what now, bytch? Shall I just knock you out like all the times before?"

Round 4:
Of course Tointon hasn't won all her fights against Merna but teasing the blonde into a hurry up mode might not be the way to go since Gemma does have a big punch in her and she sticks a couple of good hooks over the top to send Kara into defensive circles. However there's no sign of a proper follow up and Kara likes her chances to wear the desperate blonde down in a fruitless pursuit. The quick feet beat the heavy punch this time and Gemma's furious assault only grazes the flesh before Tointon clubs a loud gasping blonde with a late counter hook on the nose inside the final ten seconds and signs off the round with another uppercut on the rack. Gemma is simply L-I-V-I-D as she walks back to her stool but Denise van Outen just nods her head in approval in the booth.

Round 5:
Another impressive display of bendy approach from Tointon allows her to settle back and just avoid Merna's attacks that simply lack all the precision neccessary to put the brunette under serious threat. Meanwhile Kara finds her range with ease and picks the Hollyoaks girl off with single strike menace to increase the frustration level for all the Lookout! Atlantic fans and the buxom blonde in particular. Gemma finds a couple of solid hooks on the mouth in the final minute but fails to embrace a late jabbing drive on the midriff and wobbles back to the ropes worryingly fast as Kara adds a late hook on the temple to bend the cumbersome opponent sideways against the turnbuckle. A quick bump-off follows but that's already after the bell and it looks like Tointon is rubbing salt into Merna's mental wounds which leads Denise van Outen to question whether the Hollyoaks blonde does actually believe she can take her long-time nemesis down anymore?

Round 6:
Kara sits on top of the scorecards and isn't about to rush things at all forcing Gemma's hand again. But there's just no way the blonde can find her range and wastes more energy in a fruitless pursuit before finally giving it up. The tempo of the fight slows down dramatically but Tointon rides the confidence wave to the core and even teases her foe into rope-a-dope drill to make some people in the audience laugh. Gemma's eyes are throwing thunders here but she only finds single punches to smack the brunette's face while soaking up a steady ribcage assault in the final minute instead. Tointon rips punches to the body like she's working a training sack and even a former champion like Merna sinks on her knees underneath them, aching her heart out in the proccess. A quick switchback pins her on the turnbuckle right at the bell and Kara delivers more jug muggin' to slump the hapless blonde which is only halted by the referee barging his way between the two women.

Round 7:
Gemma runs short on air supply now, her overzealous breasts flapping around when she tries to somehow jump the gun on another JMD drill but Kara beats her to the punch with ease and tags the jaw a couple of times before piercing the solar plexus with another forceful strike. And Gemma bends forward while spitting out her mouthpiece which earns her a warning from the ref on the spot. However she just can't find her breath back in time and Tointon buries her under a heavy barrage over the top that splits the mitts and roughs the pretty face up in numbers. No way back for Merna here, she gets pummelled back to the ropes and is fortunate enough that Tointon prefers to stick her mitts into the jugs again instead of just rearranging that face! Gemma's all but done here at the bell and bends forward in agony, she can't even walk back to her stool struggling to breathe but she won't quit on her nemesis no matter how badly she's been roughed up tonight!

Round 8:
The fat lady buckles up to sing as Merna walks into a left/right combo on the chin and her arms drop immediately upon the strike which allows Tointon to lift her boobs with another uppercut drive to spin her to the side but a left hook on the nose finally puts the plug on the former champion AS GEMMA JACK-KNIFES TO HER KNEES with eyes closed and slowly crumbles face down at the brunette's feet. Even the ref realizes the battered blonde isn't going to beat the count anytime soon and waves the fight off on the spot! KO8 Kara Tointon!!!

AFTER: That's three out of four and Kara Tointon simply reigns over Gemma Merna to remove all the doubts whether she's good enough to enter the elite picture. She plants her foot on the fallen blonde's back and poses for the cameras with her right hand raised in the air and the left placed on her hip. "Take this trash to the locker room and wait for me there! I've snatched her wig big time tonight and it's almost a shame she's out cold now! What a frickin' waste!", Kara tells the audience and the Cardiff Arena chants her name for the next minute or so since it's always enjoyable to see two English babes tearing each other up in front of a Welsh crowd! Well, Kara did most of the tearing tonight and she spares Gemma the indignity of losing her bikini top but she still rolls her on her back and inspects the state of her rack which has taken more than it's share of punishment.

"This JMD thing is quite fun! I won't be doing any of that soon but the way Gemma showed her tits off like she won Miss Hawaiian Tropic or something would get any reasonable girl mad! Stupid cow got what she deserved and well, count me in for a Lily Allen upset next!", the EastEnders actress reveals her feelings to Denise van Outen as the still semi-conscious blonde if lifted back to the locker room. With Nikki Sanderson ready to stalk Merna next as per her own words from last night's Barnet Guest Special card, all the Lookout! Atlantic hope is to ensure a quick recovery to it's top JMD prospect. Because Gemma simply sells too many tickets for the BBU events to leave her on the bench following such a terrible showing. And even Kara Tointon agrees with that: "Well, I beat the stuffing out of her jugs but I wouldn't mind her handing Nikki a good beating! They're both worth each other anyway!"
