These two girls have so much promise, but neither has won in SSB, although of course, Rochelle is a former BBU lightweight champion.

Rochelle is first into the ring, the singer looking superb in an orange bikini with black gloves and boots, but Emily is at least as hot as her in her green bikini with matching gloves and boots, and the girls look well matched, physically.

Round 1

Away they go, and Emily’s moving well, giving Rochelle some neat punches in the opening seconds, with Rochelle seemingly caught cold, and the actress is winning the exchanges, her jab quick and accurate, jolting Rochelle too often for her liking, and she clinches as Emily comes in with a hook to follow up, happy to lean in and get herself together until the referee breaks them. Now Rochelle shows some craft, gets up and on her toes, her jabs now the crisper, and she gets a hook and a cross in to follow as well, Emily grabbing, but not getting Rochelle tied in, and Rochelle hits the actress to the body, sending her into a tight defence, Rochelle’s aggression giving her the round as she lands the leather, even tough a lot of her punches are being blocked.

Round 2

Feeling good about her opening round performance, Rochelle opens up quickly, and she’s popping Emily around the ring as round two begins, although Emily does manage to halt her progress and smack her with a nice jab and cross combination. Rochelle switches her attack to Emily’s body, but she’s not hurting the actress’s abs too much, and finds that Emily can take her shots and give some back, the actress swatting Rochelle to the face and then it’s her turn to try out the body, banging a couple of left hooks into Rochelle’s midriff, and the Brit feels those, and covers, Emily hitting her some more to the face, so Rochelle hits back, gets out of trouble, but gets another solid hook to the body as this even round closes.

Round 3

Emily’s beginning to look the better girl in the opening exchanges, and she swats Rochelle with a swift little barrage of punches to her face, with Rochelle a little slow to react, and the Brit’s being forced backwards as Emily’s all action style has her blowing hard. Rochelle getting punished on the ropes as Emily starts to control the fight, giving the singer some heavy blows to her midsection, but she clinches and hangs on, using that extra bit of experience, and she hits back from the break as well, sending Emily backwards this time, landing decent punches to the actress’s face, which is starting to scrape slightly, but not enough to discourage her, and she comes out on top in a trade of right hooks, with Rochelle stumbling, Emily looking the better girl right now.

Round 4

Good work from Emily in the opening minute has Rochelle backpedalling again, and it’s that right hook the actress lands which troubles the singer, Rochelle blinking hard, shaking her head to clear it, but Emily hits her again, and the left side of Rochelle’s face looks kind of swollen now from the shots she’s taken, but Emily gets careless as she comes in to try a big hit again, Rochelle giving her a left, a right, and another left, and she’s got Emily wobbling now, the actress getting outmuscled and sent to the ropes, where Rochelle gives her some hefty punches, and she has Emily rocking and rolling there, knocking her from side to side, and now she’s the one bossing this fight, although Emily does manage to hit her in the midriff a couple more times.

Round 5

Rochelle pours over Emily as the girls resume, and she’s hurt her with a left and right combination to her face, sending her backing into the ropes, sends in another left hook, which Emily blocks, then gets turned, Emily ripping punches into Rochelle’s body to turn the singer around, and now she has her on the ropes instead, and those punches to the body are sapping Rochelle’s strength for sure, each one making her grunt, and she’s now ragdolling Rochelle, swatting the singer’s pretty face to left and right, Rochelle just doing what she can to stem the flow, but her left cheek is looking very sore now, really swelling, and her vision’s becoming impaired as Emily targets the damage, Rochelle trying to get off the ropes, but Emily has her where she wants her, and keeps her there, using great skills to bang the shots into Rochelle’s ribs, and she’s not happy as she returns to her corner.

Round 6

This is getting tough for Rochelle now, the singer again being punished to her body as Emily keeps up the pressure, although she’s bravely fighting back again, by no means beaten, slamming her left hook into Emily’s jaw, and sending her back, she then comes in after her once more, landing a couple of good, choppy punches to her face, gets her to the ropes – and gets turned again! That’s a carbon copy of what Emily did to her in the fifth, turning her with hard right hooks to the flank and ribs, Rochelle covering up, Emily not finding any joy with ragdolling her side to side this time, so she goes straight! Emily rips a left uppercut up and between Rochelle’s gloves, landing it beautifully in the singer’s mouth, and she goes down. Rochelle’s on her knees, shaking her head, starts to get up at 6, but just can’t do it, and rolls over gently to be counted out on her back.

Result: Emily Ratajkowski knocked out Rochelle Humes in round 6.

Rochelle’s British supporters are shocked at this second successive defeat, but Emily’s are content, as their girl still looks for management, and maybe now she might get it, because that was an excellent performance.
