Emma Glover’s surprise besting of Rosie Jones in their JMD fight in Vegas in January had raised the Stateside profile of the fighter. On the Maury show, she was reminded of an interview she had given to an obscure French lads’ mag, when she was starting out in the glamour industry. In it she is reported to have described the undisputed pinup queen of the time, Lucy Pinder, as what translates into English as a “frigid cow”, on account of Pinder’s reluctance to show her nipples early on in her career. Despite now being stablemates, Pinder was quick to hit back and took tp Twitter to label Glover as “a bit of a c***.” Always being quick to spot an opportunity, FCBA officials were quick to engineer a JMD bout between the two athletes, allowing each fighter to maul the mammary assets of the other. The fight almost hit a last minute snag as the premium for the renewal of the insurance on Pinder’s 32F rack was due for renewal the week before the fight and rumour had it that an eight figure sum was being quoted. Late night talks between the insurance company and This is Glamour allowed the fight to go ahead however.

Round 1: Both girls decide that offence is the best form of defence and trade blows to the chest and grunts of pain that cause even the most experienced ring side reporters to grimace. After a minute, both girls seem content to clinch. With one arm round the other’s waist, they paw ineffectively at the other’s back with their free hand whilst smashing their chests together. It is Glover who is being forced back in these exchanges, and to the crowd’s delight, when they are forced apart at the bell, an erect nipple has escaped from the flimsy fabric of Glover’s halter.

Round 2: After a longer than normal break, in which Glover swapped out her halter, battle recommenced. Glover immediately adopted different tactics, by using her superior footwork to launch lightning raids on Pinder’s chest. For her part, Pinder swung a series of blows that would have knocked out an elephant but were readily telegraphed, apart from the final econds of the round when a glancing blow caught Glover in the right breast.

Round 3: Realising that she needed to get her opponent at close quarters, Pinder is happy to eat a few blows to the stomach as she shepherds Glover towards a corner of the ring. After it is too late, Glover realises she is trapped and clinches. The girls trade blows to the stomach as they stagger about. Glover seems to be the one that wants to break the clinch, though she has to hang on for the referee to pull Pinder off her at the bell. Childbirth has not been kind to Glover’s stomach muscles and she needs to be helped onto her stool.

Round 4: Realising she has to choose between having her breasts mauled by Pinder’s or living with the humiliation of turning down the challenge of who has the better tits, Glover holds her ground in the centre of the ring at the start of the fourth. Like two giant battleships, determined to sink the other, the girls trade blows to the breasts and stomach. Pinder uses the uppercut to land a number of blows that seem guaranteed to force Glover’s pair into the Nassau air. Realising Glover’s bravery in meeting a superior-equipped foe boob-on, the crowd start cheering her name at the bell.

Round 5: Despite being on top, lugging her 32F artillery around the ring is taking its toll on Pinder and her breath is laboured at the start of the fifth. The girls are soon on the ropes and Glover’s fans hold their breath. Remarkably, though, it is Pinder who is landing less, on account of Glover leaning back against the ropes in the split second before hooks aimed at the latter’s chest can land. In the last minute, Glover launches a furious counterattack, forcing Pinder back.

Round 6: The girls again stand toe-to-toe: Glover not having the energy to launch the lightning raids that served her so well in the second. Pinder’s superior firepower soon forces her younger opponent to one knee. However, just as Pinder looks set to deliver a decisive hook, Glover forces herself up with the explosive movement of a sprinter. She wraps her arms around Pinder’s waist, driving her against the ropes. A clearly winded Pinder claws furiously at Glover’s back as the latter pummels the former’s solar plexus. After a few seconds of this barrage, Pinder collapses to her knees herself, and indicates she is spent before her eyes glaze over.

Glover drags her opponent by the hair to the centre of the ring before untying Pinder’s bikini halter. To the delight of the crowd, she unties her own and throws it into the crowd before slipping into Pinder’s.
