Candice Accola versus Zoe Saldana
(Words: Empire / Results: Lookout!)

Before: "Zoe was a heck of a fighter, maybe five years ago" quips a confident Candice. "After she got exposed as china chinned by Scherzinger she was never able to get in there with a slugger. Tonight I'll send her back onto the scrap heap" Accola smirks as flashbulbs pop. "Candice is just another young blonde, she'll be a mid card fighter for years to come, but she doesn't have main event heart" states an irate Zoe Saldana. Accola out first in a red bikini, matching gloves and boots, blonde hair tied into two pigtails. Saldana in a baby blue bikini, matching gloves and boots, hair tied back in a ponytail.

Tense staredown as the ref reads the prefight instructions, both ladies jawing back and forth, Saldana lunging forward prompting Accola to cover up and dart backward as Zoe cackles.

R1: Zoe sauntering off her stool, quickly putting her legs on display as she darts in and out, jabbing at Candice as she tries to work her way inside, peppering her with spearing shots to the belly discouraging Accola as she covers up, unable to mount any sustained offense.

R2: Candice working behind the jab, right at her cheek, left at her chest, counterin as Saldana darts inward hoping to further punish her to the body. Zoe getting scuffed in these exchanges,  precision jabs leaving a mouse under her left eye. Saldana ducks underneath an Accola jab, landing a right hook grazing her chin as Candice lands a sharp hook to the navel bringing Saldana gurgling forward.  Accola masterfully working the clinch, peppering Zoe's flanks with her right hand as Saldana pulls her left across her chest. Zoe landing the stray shot but Accola dominating inside to the bell.

R3: Zoe working behind her jab, stinging Candice with needling shots to the belly and breasts, setting up compact hooks high before she retreats. Accola on the defensive, unable to set her footing, landing the stray counter hook, but unable to put anything together.

R4: Accola flies off her stool, still enraged over the previous round, jabbing Zoe to get her on the defensive before peppering her with sharp left hooks to the ribs and belly sending her stumbling backwards to the ropes. Candice storming forward, hurling shots wildly as Zoe dips side to side,  right at her chest, left across her belly at the navel, evading most of Accola's offense with veteran wile, landing the stray counter hook in between Candice's volleys. At the bell Accola's panting, chest heaving as she gulps water on her stool.

R5: Zoe taking the initiative, jabbing her foe to the ropes as Accola sets up in earmuff, still disheveled from the pace of the previous round. Saldana pierces Candice's guard with a left hook detonating on her jaw and sending Accola stooping into the ropes, Zoe going for broke, leaning into her foe while unloading to the body with both hands, shoveling shots into Candice's battered body, Accola gritting her teeth, hurls a desperation jab pelting Zoe just below the hairline, freezing her as she follows up with a right uppercut square on the chin. DOWN GOES SALDANA! Zoe twisting her body on impact, collapsing on her left shoulder, rolling face forward, gloves at her side, leg twitching. Count a mere formality KO 5 Candice Accola!

After: Candice climbing the ropes bellowing into the crowd, batting her gloves together and soaking it all up as she puts Mirage back in the lead.
