Before: Reese brutally honest in prefight. "Ricci was no aberration for Mish," Witherspoon proclaims. "I've got a file this thick on Michelle and you know what it says? No flyweight's fought as many hard rounds, taken more clean punches and had more wars than Mish Williams. You compare tape of Mish during her title reign and Mish against Christina and you'll see degradation all across the board. Mish Williams is shot. When Claire Danes is hurting you repeatedly with those sissy slaps of hers, you know you're damaged goods." Williams dumbfounded by the boldness, shaking her head in mock admiration, "Reese, I was lukewarm about this fight when it was announced, but I gotta hand it to you - I really want to harm you now. Thanks for waking me up, chump!" Mish in black push up, white lace trim, black panties - Reese in pretty bra style pink and white check bikini, sporty ponytail.

During R1: Reese elbows in, hands up, jamming out a stubby stick to complicate Mish's advance. Witherspoon edging back, banging jabs against the face and skull of Williams - by the time Mish gets off, she's been tapped up pretty good. Witherspoon eventually backed to the ropes - Williams crowding in and looking to work - good bashing give and take evolves as Reese stands her ground. Mish working wide on her turns - beating 'Spoony in the flanks and arms as Reese covers - Reese back with chopping lefts and rights on the ear with the elbows in, just twisting back and forth to scrub away. Hardhearted stuff, tough to score - but Reese with her back to the ropes makes it look like Mish is the aggressor.

R2: Mish with a few sweeping right hand misses has Reese backing off - Williams influencing Witherspoon to the ropes and discouraging the jab as Witherspoon goes defensive. End of min.1 - Mish with a searing overhand right misses, Reese misses a pushy right, both girls turn on comeback hooks and WITHERSPOON GOES DOWN! God-awful clock on the jaw swivels Reese's head, locks her up, then drops her in slow-mo straight down to her right knee. Bruising follow up after 8 as Mish sails in - overhand rights almost straight arm tomohawk chops - straight arm hooks shivering against Witherspoon's liver - Reese folded into the ropes and taking a shellacking as Williams unleashes hell. Mish pursuing as Reese wilts along the ropes, ex-champ ladling on the hurt with exuberant, bang-bang rights and lefts top and bottom off the front foot.

R3: Mish reigning it in a little - now she's bouncing right, hands at her chest, stepping in a hard jab, crouching and hopping forward a zesty hook. Reese in that compact stance, inching back from Williams and banging out that straight, no-frills jab - doing a nice job on Mish's eyebrows and chest with thumping insistence. Williams doing the heavier punching - it's her heat - but Witherspoon recovers well from the knockdown, gets her legs back.

R4: Reese actually backing Mish up with jabs now, bang...bang-bang, stepping forward - Williams a little flustered at the face punching. Good 2 minutes for Reese, advancing, beating Mish to punches with the textbook stick, shooting straight right hands between Williams' indifferent guard, placing straight right hands between the tits and down into the stomach. Down the stretch, Mish undoes Reese's good work in a single exchange. Girls trade hooks to jug, Mish putting the right hand on top to beat Reese to the punch and Witherspoon pulls away groggy and wobbly butt. Mish hopping forward with wide hooks, lashing Reese to the ropes then opening up with weight on the front foot. Tomohawk overhand rights setting up straight arm, batting hooks in the liver - Reese paralyzed in the ropes, loses her best round thus far.

R5: Once again, Reese shows durability - shaking off more Mish power, getting back to the jab, eating Williams up in a series of ill advised front door rushes from the ex-champ. Mish really taking it on the face from Reese' stick and Witherspoon following up better with short straight rights, capping with hooks - Williams gobbling a high connect percentage as she's forced to retreat. Midway through, Reese scoots in close and fits a nice short right hand to the chin, curling her right shoulder into Mish and pressing her to the ropes as Williams looks shook. Reese in close, goes tummy with both hands, then tidies up on Mish' wrack with Williams slumped listless in the ropes. Mish wrapping up lightly, Reese able to stay busy in between William's arms, touching the midsection, pancaking bra with snubby punches in close. Shutout Witherspoon puts a shiny look of hurt on Williams' face.

R6: Mish returns the favour, backing Reese into her corner with a mad rush, pushing and jostling for room, then getting after it with gusto. Witherspoon hunched over, arms in tight, chin tucked, just riding it out - Williams swinging away hard, bouncing her left hand off Witherspoon's aching right side, shifting to gut rights up underneath. Williams bodying up big-girl, chesting Reese into the ropes, trying to rattle the defense, then working to club hooks and uppercuts past the guard. Spoony not punching back much, but she's doing a nice job protecting herself - Williams spends up a ton of energy and doesn't get Witherspoon hurt in the process.

R7: Reese shifting smartly to offence - Williams a little winded, unable to sustain pace and running smack dab into that pesky, straight jab. Witherspoon nice with her feet, stepping in as Mish backs off, fading Williams' leaping agression and always tapping out that stick coming or going. Witherspoon able to bang away with straight combinations, targetting Mish's face, jugs and tummy for drilling right hands - it's adding up nicely.

R8: Reese wins back to back rounds for the first time, outworking Mish, discouraging her with that accurate, constant jab and finishing with clean rights and hooks. Mish with her back to the ropes, sullen, unresponsive as Witherspoon snuggles in close and works the midsection with both hands, then tidies up the rack before stepping out behind the jab to reset. Williams snarling, taunting at the bell - Witherspoon refusing to acknowledge or get ruffled as she struts to her corner.

R9: Mish swinging away - Reese dipping low, moving her head - she's making Williams miss, but unable to cash in against the ferocity. Second minute - Williams unpacking her own jab, thrusting it between the breasts, bending at the waist as she steps it in long - strong punch backs Spoony to the ropes. Mish weight on her back foot, reaching the jab in, extending it and setting up a SHATTERING right hand over the top! Reese catching clean on the chin, head hard to starboard - she drifts sideways into the ropes suddenly undone! MISH GOES FOR BROKE! Hacking overhand rights - that straight, baseball bat hook underneath - it's just too much! Witherspoon belted slappy, sinking into the ropes, then falling to her hip all teary eyed - she can't beat the count! KO9 Mish Williams!

After: Williams romping around the ring in exultation - she gets to Reese just as Witherspoon seemed to be righting the ship in a great seesaw contest. Mish not sparing the lash - she hauls a battered and shaken Witherspoon to her feet, pulling her out for a brawny walk of shame, and lingering at the ropes in front of Keira Knightley. Brazenly holding Reese close, clutching at her chin to bunch up the mouth, Mish bellows at Keira to 'come get some'. Mish laying the shot-talk to rest with a fine display of naked aggression - Reese taking the hard punches in this one.
