BBU: FOXFIRE ATLANTIC BOXING VS BLACK EAGLE BOXING STABLE WAR

BEFORE: Pooja Shah spend the last four years on the sidelines and her otherwise lacklustre career was thought to be over until she suddenly found herself in popular demand this very spring. She's just returned from America where she faced Front Street's Leighton Meester on the Asylum PPV and now is ready to rumble against former No Angels singer Sandy Moelling who leads the Black Eagles flyweight contingent.

It's perhaps surprising to see Shah back in the ring so quickly after her trip to Philadelphia and Denise van Outen has obvious concerns about the jetlag affecting her tonight's performance but the Moelling fight was agreed several weeks before already, much earlier than the Front Street invitation came to life. And let's be honest, nobody in BBU rejects an opportunity to showcase her talents live and exclusive on HBO!

Pooja Shah wears a violet basque top with black trim, black knickers and white gloves. Long black hair straight. Sandy Moelling wears a green bikini set and golden gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a custom ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.

Round 1:
Sandy wants to stamp her authority on this fight straight away but gets caught by a looping hook on the mouth as Pooja races into an aggressive stride to tame the betting odds and stacks the singer up in the center of the ring with more accurate jabbing thereafter. It looks like Sandy never expected her opponent to jump into such a stance so early and she has to duck underneath more aerial attacks before finally clattering into the Brit's body which briefly halts the charge. However Pooja really wants to upset the local favorite, she shakes the blonde off with a quick jug-to-jug bump and slams her on the mouth with a crisp cross hook before finding another uppercut on the jaw that sends Moelling spinning into the ropes at the bell.

Round 2:
More aggression from the brunette who buries the shocked opponent behind another leather frenzy and coach Gina Wild is equally puzzled as the entire Lanxess Arena crowd when Sandy bends to the side with a loud yelp and fails to live with the close range heat. Pooja swings more hooks down the stretch and catches the cumbersome singer on the temples however she can't quite find the haymaker punch to really blow Sandy's confidence away. There's plenty of time left in this bout but the early charge from the Foxfire girl indicates she's put her Asylum defeat behind her much quicker than anyone in Cologne anticipated. Moelling can't mount anything solid for remainder of the round and spends it ducking & weaving away from Shah's menacing efforts.

Round 3:
Hectic discussion in the Eagles corner marks the interval before the third round and apparently Sandy might just try to wear the brunette out; she remains mysteriously laid back and soaks up more single punch assault but has the agility in her to avoid getting trapped along the ropes. Denise van Outen indicates that all these singers are well trained footwork-wise based on long hours shooting the video clips and Pooja gets a little careless and annoyed in the final minute when she keeps grazing the blonde's flesh and is countered on the chin with a straight jab followed by a belting hook to the liver area. Too little too late for Moelling to steal the round away but she gives the Brit a quick death stare before struting back to coach Wild in the Eagles corner.

Round 4:
Shah doesn't take the foot off the gas but loses more precision and allows the blonde to clinch her where she succumbs to the raw power and gets wrestled back to the ropes. Moelling rips a series of hooks on the body to shut the brunette down before finally blasting her on the chin and bending to the side with a loud yelp. The crowd roars in support as the blonde settles into pounding the English actress to the gut and that exposed Pooja badly - the brunette fails to fight back and wraps herself around the German foe but must soak up more punishment and only when Sandy released the lock and steps back, she can find some breathing room again. However Sandy blasts her on the mouth with a quick one-two moments later and leaves her sagging on the ropes when the clock expires.

Round 5:
Classic flyweight leather bash kicks off the fifth round and Sandy finally makes Pooja pay for the struggling accuracy. She bombs the brunette's mouth to knock her head back and delivers a sinking hook on the liver area the actress fails to embrace before it's too late. Shah bends to the side with her eyes closed and obviously needs some respite but once she lifts her head again, there's Moelling blasting her on the nose AND SENDING DOWN ON HER BACK in a blink of an eye! Lanxess Arena errupts in joy as the former No Angels singer finally delivers the promise and watches in delight as a wincing Pooja barely beats the count at eight still looking a little dizzy. The German jabbing assault mauls her back to the ropes thereafter and Sandy reigns supreme in the final minute bashing her foe's midsection to jelly while ignoring the desperate high earmuff. Shah screams out behind the guard while getting punched into oblivion and ends the round spitting out her mouthguard and sagging on the ropes unable to catch her breath anymore.

Round 6:
Moelling moves into destruction mode and easily traps Shah in close range before splitting her mitts again and thumping vicious leather against the quickly swelling face. Pooja's head rocks back & forth and she doesn't have nor the strenght nor agility to avoid the furious leather rush. She gets pounded back to the ropes while throwing weak & wayward hooks and eats more jabbing menace upstairs that shatters her guard and allows the blonde to home in for the money shot... a left cross on the nose shuts Pooja's eyes for good before a right hook on the ear FOLDS HER LIKE A CHEAP TENT at the singer's feet! And the ref waves it off on the spot! KO6 Sandy Moelling!

AFTER: That was the best way for the Eagles to start the stable war and Sandy is clearly over the moon with a highlight-reel KO success! She found it tough going in the early stages but dismantled Pooja's resistance and smoked her into a heap in a matter of two rounds. In all hontesy Shah did suffer from the Asylum experience and Denise van Outen thinks she could have blown Moelling to bits if she just steered her attacks better especially in the second & third rounds. So close but no cigar and the local favorites are one nil up on the Foxfire Atlantics.

Sandy high-fives the entire front row as she exits the arena and the smile on her face couldn't be any bigger as well. That's a proper way to avenge the recent defeat to best buddy Jeanette Biedermann but she'll have to improve her skill set a lot if she's to keep the gatekeeper status outside of Germany. Meanwhile Pooja has to be revived back to her stool and still looks very woozy as coach Sophia Myles escorts her back to the locker room where stablemate Sylvie Meis vows to put the Foxfire team on the boards in the second flyweight of the night next!

Final result: Sandy Moelling def. Pooja Shah KO6.
Stable War: Foxfire Atlantic 0 Black Eagles 1.
