BEFORE: "It's official, Krystal Forscutt is back into serious contention!", Georgie Thompson introduces the Main Event playing the local Gold Coast tune but it's understandable given the buxom brunette's past endeavours on both sides of the hemisphere. She once pushed Sayuki Matsumoto all the way into a decision for the BBU lightweight title and owns a ton of experience over the highly-touted Girls Friday prospect Jessica Michibata aside from calling Surfers Paradise her own playground. Of course the Boxing Day PPV loss to Karolina Kurkova was a major blow to her elite status but since the Czech model has ascended into FCBA picture, that result can be excused which Forscutt later confirmed by brutal stoppage over Ann-Kathrine Brommel.

Both 'Green & Gold' Magazine and BronzedOz Boxing call Michibata as a Brommel-clone which technically justifies the Main Event billing but Georgie Thompson thinks the Japanese model is more than just a pretty face for the Aussie brunette to pound on. Her last month's victory over Laury Thilleman turned few heads back in Europe and even if Forscutt's entourage ignores that result, the BBU TV thinks it's all down to pre-fight mind games.

Krystal Forscutt wears a light blue & pink schemed bikini and golden gloves. Long dark brown hair in loose waves. Jessica Michibata wears a yellow & white striped bikini and black gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a curly ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the lightweight division.

Round 1:
Krystal's well known for her aggressive tactics and she tries to put the Japanese girl under immediate pressure seconds into the fight but coach Berlingeri has done her homework and Jessica ducks underneath all the aerial assault before blasting a solid series on the body herself and jumping away into safety. The lack of quick pouncing success makes the older brunette angry a little but she keeps hassling Michibata across the sand - kicking it all over the place in the proccess - however the simply can't match the model's footwork for the time being and in fact soaks up a one-handed counter with Michibata looking extremely dicey working from the back foot and escaping the cornerpost trap. Krystal moans in open anger come the final minute but she has to concede that Jessica's simply too quick for her and slows completely down in the last thirty odd seconds which enables Michibata to send more swinging menace to close out the cagey action.

Round 2:
Forscutt tries to keep her calm but she simply can't accept Michibata's somewhat cheeky smile and wants to wipe it off as soon as possible! She makes another ill-timed jump and basically invites the Japanese model to blast her across the mouth with a quick one-two combo before a sinking hook pounds her on the navel and wobbles forward. She bumps her chin against Michibata's right shoulder and the younger girl cleans out the tummy before another bump off staggers Krystal on her heels and allows Jessica to whip an uppercut series that splits the arms and connects with the otherwise impressive jugs. Forscutt aches in shock but fails to embrace the jug mugging drill and is pounded back to the ropes with Michibata suddenly threatening to repeat the Gregoraci vs Valance scenario as she shuts the older brunette along the ropes and scores more ruthless punches to Krystal's midsection before the clock saves the shaken Australian pride.

Round 3:
The Main Event hasn't started well for the locals and Forscutt's high swings are too predictable to make any difference while Jessica settles down in mid distance and displays superior agility to avoid the aerial rush. Krystal tries to close her down but only grazes the flesh and thinks better of it when the Japanese model whacks her across the mouth and adds a nasty hook on the brow ridge. The tempo of the fight slows down in the second half of the round but that's due to the older brunette requiring a back-up plan and Jessica sticking to her guns rather than seeking immediate power assault. There's no need for that idea yet and she's done more than enough to leave the Aussie fans scratching their heads after three.

Round 4:
It's rather obvious that Jessica is a vast improvement over Ann-Kathrin Brommel but if Krystal wants to return to the divisional title picture, she should be cleaning out her clock tonight regardless. The hectic close range pursuit meets another stubborn defence and a looping overhand response begins to stack up against the local brunette's face which eventually leads to a blatant clinching respite. Michibata isn't quite strong enough to wrestle her foe back to the ropes but she bumps her off with a quick hook to the liver area and then slams a left/right riffle series over the top that cuts Forscutt under the left eye and staggers her back to the ropes with a loud yelp. Jessica's quick to trap her in the precarious position and easily lands more jabs on the body leaving the ACB entourage stunned in silence at the bell.

Round 5:
Georgie Thompson is extremely impressed with Jessica building a solid lead on the cards by now - even the local judges can't see it differently - but Krystal's fighting spirit is still very much there and she finally digs into her experience in the fifth avoiding another aggressive but otherwise fruitless leather rush. She accepts Michibata is the faster girl across the sand and all that Gold Coast training background might not be the decissive factor tonight after all. Jessica'a been modelling around famous resorts around the world and her beach attire was undeniably ignored by the BronzedOz staff. Thankfully Forscutt's ready to adjust her tactics before it's too late but she's still got a mountain to climb here with Jessica looking as determined as ever to maintain her unbeaten BBU record.

Round 6:
Lioness Club Mel B. arrives in Girls Friday's corner to indicate that Jessica should perhaps work on that cut under Krystal's left eye and the Japanese model is indeed a little more aggressive in the opening minute but her targets become too predictable now and Forscutt's still in top notch condition to walk around the looping one-handed efforts. She tries to mount a head hunting reply herself but gets wrestled into a clinch whenever she threatens to apply the close range drill. Both women struggle for supremacy along the ropes and Forscutt comes out on top; she slams a hooking combo into her opponent's temples and sags Michibata on her knees for the first time tonight before driving a nasty uppercut on the boobs to make the fellow brunette scream out in pain. The clinching get away plan is then shattered by another piercing uppercut and the Surfers Paradise crowd roars in delight when Krystal rocks Jessica's head back & forth in the dying seconds with the bell ringing suspiciously late by all Georgie Thompson's accounts. Michibata staggers back to her corner and holds her jaw in visible pain; she suddenly got tangled up in a nasty exchange and clearly came out worse of the two.

Round 7:
More problems for Jessica who gets stuck in the hole and wobbles forward dropping her guard alltogether - she basically crashes into Krystal's shoulder as a result. The Aussie quickly wraps her up in a ribcage pounding frenzy for a while but then bumps her off and slices her defence before the model can establish her balance again Jessica's head snaps back & forth and Forscutt pounds her butt-in-ropes with no mercy whatsoever to assume full control of the action. Not even coaches Berlingeri and Mel B. can halt the local rout now and Krystal is a joy to watch when having a girl at her mercy. The repeated body assault leaves Michibata's midsection visibly bruised and the follow up on the chest is just an icing on the cake. Jessica tries to fend off the painful reality but fails to lock a clinch and gets plastered into the ropes with the older brunette so keen to hurt her, she almost headbutts the Japanese on the nose and barks in delight when Michibata stumbles back to the turnbuckle with a loud scowl. A brutal left hook finds the eye and hands Jessica immediate swelling while she wilts under more Aussie pressure during the remaining thirty odd seconds; Forscutt ravages her bruised ribcage before stucking her mitts on the solar plexus and leaving the Japanese model spitting out her gumshield at the bell. The girl is hurt and hurt badly!

Round 8:
Forscutt goes all-in with a head hunting leather frenzy and Michibata's too worn out to rely on her previously superior footwork anymore. She gets caught up in a nasty hooking drill and suddenly her high guard collapses alltogether while she stumbles back when her left ankle bends awkwardly treading across another hole. BIG RIGHT HAND FORSCUTT!!! The heaviest punch of the bout catches the Japanese on the ear and half-spins her into a follow up from the left and Krystal gives it her all while nailing her foe spot on the jaw! Ugh! "We going down, we're going timber!!!!", Ke$ha could sing that all over Gold Coast as MICHIBATA CRASHES FACE DOWN AT FORSCUTT'S FEET and that was lightning quick from the ACB stalwart! Quick and extremely brutal to boot! Lauren Berlingeri and Mel B. are left shell-shocked when they realize that Jessica's in no shape to recover in time. She remains spread eagle on the sand and only moves her head slightly while mumbling her demise complete. The count is very efficient and the entire set just can't wait for the final verdict to be announced! Krystal scampers back from the neutral corner at nine and plants her foot on the fallen brunette's backside while the defeaning roar from the crowd confirms the perfect finish for all the ACB fans and members-alike! KO8 Krystal Forscutt!!!

AFTER: Disaster for the Girls Friday as Jessica Michibata joins Lioness Club BFF Yasmin Verheijen in swallowing the bitter pill of maiden BBU defeat. The trip Down Under gave both girls plenty of time to sunbathe around the Gold Coast beaches but perhaps they spend too much time dwelling on the landscape and some questions will be asked once the entire BBU camp returns home to the Northern Hemisphere. Mel B. is the first one to contest the winner as she tries to verbally book a rematch with Krystal however gets shoved away and needs to be held back by Lauren Berlingeri. Yasmin Verheijen is nowhere to be seen and Georgie spots her drinking heavily in the cocktail bar with her left eye hidden behind an ice pack. Well, the BBU girls can only stay sober for as long tonight and even Elisabetta Gregoraci doesn't come to the rescue while Krystal and Sarah Cumming of the 'Green & Gold" Magazine get into a shouting match with coach Berlingeri over the Main Event outcome to conclude tonight's fireworks.

Georgie Thompson stays out of that melee and predicts all the girls will eventually join forces in the cocktail bar later tonight - perhaps aside from Ms Verheijen who looks to have had enough already - but reminds the BBU TV viewers that the Aussie girls are no pushovers especially fighting in front of their home crowd. Yes, both Jessica Michibata and Yasmin Verheijen have a bright future ahead of them but they won't have to live with the "0" in their records putting extra pressure on them. Of course Elisabetta Gregoraci has forged ahead in the pecking order but she's the oldest of the three and working on a much shorter leash. The biggest news coming out of the Beach Boxing PPV is that Krystal Forscutt and Jennifer Hawkins are ready to make noise again and even if the Lioness & Girls Friday entourage didn't see it coming, that's Doutzen Kroes' and Malika Menard's problem from now on!

Final result: Krystal Forscutt def. Jessica Michibata KO8.
