Helen Flanagan (Kear's Kats) v Michelle Keegan (Beever's Babes)

It’s odd that these two former Coronation Street babes should have to cross the Atlantic to fight each other for the first time, but the taller Helen has mainly fought at bantamweight so far in her career, where she has found the competition tough, whereas Michelle has enjoyed some great wins at flyweight, the last one against Demi Lovato in a gruelling bout.
 
Into the ring comes Helen, looking great in a lacy red bikini, quickly joined by Michelle in a white leather bikini, and as the referee calls them together, Helen promises Michelle, “I’m gonna make you regret refusing a JMD matchup, you smu b1tch!”
 
Round 1
 
Away they go, both girls moving swiftly off their stools, and Michelle gets into Helen straight away, thudding her crooked left jab into the blonde’s face, sending her backwards already, Helen nodding as she feels that shot landing again, but she fights back immediately, lifting Michelle’s head up with a short uppercut, and she grins as she pops the brunette’s head side to side with a left and a right to follow that up, Michelle stepping away, but not clear of the blonde, who lands the uppercut again, clearly having a game plan here, because Michelle’s not enjoying those punches at all, her guard being penetrated too easily as her former co star gets through with another one, Michelle backed into the ropes, where Helen gives her a thump to the ribs, Michelle gasping, but fighting back, and she gets her own punches into Helen’s face as the round closes – a big round for Helen there.
 
Round 2
 
With her right cheek already looking a little swollen, Michelle takes her time in the second, and Helen punishes her for that, whipping in some good punches to the brunette’s body, looking like she’s setting her up for the uppercut again – but Michelle parries the first attempt, and the second misses badly, Helen getting hit with a left hook to her jaw as she threw the punch, and she quivers a little at the knees, stands back, and gets tagged again, this time with Michelle’s right hook, the older girl’s eyes shining as she presses Helen backwards, working away on her body, and finding her jaw again with that right hook, making Helen look shabby, with blood trickling from her bottom lip, although she still comes back at Michelle with a good one to the flank, only to get popped backwards again with a good left jab as Michelle evens things up in the fight.
 
Round 3
 
Both girls have taken big shots already, and Helen takes another as Michelle gives her a lovely jab, cross, hook combination to send the blonde girl teetering backwards, has her on the ropes, but can’t land a punch because Helen grabs and holds her in, then turns her around, frees her, and rips a pair of left hooks into her face, the brunette stunned, but she punches her way out of trouble, her eyes glaring at the younger actress as she peppers her face with lefts and rights, Helen trying to grab her again, Michelle not interested in grappling, and now Helen gives her a swift one-two for a change, Michelle covering, Helen deciding to gives the older girl’s rack the once over, with punishing short uppercuts, Michelle sliding clear and cuffing Helen’s ears as she sneaks a tight round.
 
R4
 
Michelle’s making a good start to round 4, changing herself around a bit and boxing behind her jab, although Helen still lands some blows, her solid punches taking their toll on Michelle’s face now as she shows signs of bruising around her cheeks, the brunette backed into the ropes by the bigger girl, who gets through with another uppercut, Michelle clinching as Helen tells her, “Gonna be lights out for you soon, b1tch!” as the referee breaks them up.  Michelle reacts quicker from the break, lands a jab and cross combination, and she forces Helen backwards with those punches, stemming the blonde girl’s aggression, but only briefly as Helen swats Michelle with a left, then a right, then another left, and she’s got Michelle backed into a neutral corner, clearly intent on unloading, but has to wait, because the bell brings the end to a good Flanagan round.
 
Round 5
 
This fight is finely balanced, and the girls look more cagey now, Helen using her reach advantage though and smacking Michelle backwards with some decent boxing for once, Michelle having to give ground to her as she gets worked sideways with a pair of right hooks, Michelle wary of Helen’s uppercut, which homes in on Michelle’s face again, but the brunette sidesteps it and bangs three right hooks into Helens ribs under her left arm, really hurting her there because she had no defence having thrown the uppercut, and that’s put the blonde girl in trouble, on the ropes and groaning as Michelle unloads on her, the punches thudding into her body as Michelle seems to have decided to give the blonde a bit of softening up, with Helen beginning to weaken, gloves dropping, giving Michelle the chance to end the round in command, sending Helen’s head left and right on the ropes, as she begins to look more likely to win this.
 
Round 6
 
Michelle looks like she’s ready to put Helen away now, and she gets past the blonde’s defensive gloves with a pair of good jabs, starts to prod her backwards – but she’s left herself open again, and Helen rips the uppercut into Michelle’s face, the brunette all over the place now, and it’s Helen’s turn to dish out the punishment, as Michelle slumps on the ropes, the younger girl crashing punches into her ribs, and now she works her tits, giving that famous pair a heavy barrage, with Helen telling her, “Is this why you’re afraid of me at JMD?”  Michelle grits her teeth but she’s suffering, and Helen really lays into her ribcage now, half lifting Michelle with a heavy blow up and under her guard, Michelle squealing, and Helen grinning as she follows up with heavy punches to Michelle’s face, the brunette definitely looking worse for wear as the leather grazed her face and shreds the skin around her cheekbones, Helen in total command at the bell, when she snarls, “Finishing you next time, b1tch!”
 
Round 7
 
Out comes a confident Helen, and she goes for the uppercut immediately, her corner groaning as the girl as just left herself wide open again, Michelle wasting no time in punishing her for missing the target, and she’s hurt Helen again with big punches to her ribs, Helen forced to cover up defensively, the older girl crushing her ribs with heavy punches, Helen trying to keep her away with right jabs to her face, but it’s a hopeless effort from her as she gets closed down in her own corner, Michelle now throwing an uppercut of her own, and this lands, Helen groaning as her head gets ripped backwards, and she groans some more when the older actress gives her fleshy belly area some attention, until she manages to hold, the referee stepping in, but only for Michelle to press Helen back to her corner again, smacking big hooks into her face, blood appearing from Helen’s nostrils, and her jaw sags open as Michelle crunches her ribs with the final punch of a one-sided round.
 
Round 8
 
This fight is now about who wants it more, with both girls sporting damaged faces, and it’s Michelle who gets damaged some more in a fierce exchange which ends with Helen thumping the shorter girl with three hard right hooks to cut her left eye open, and the referee is hovering, Michelle in real bother, takes another pair of punches, but grabs and holds, Helen looking tired now, but she’s sensing victory as the blood runs down Michelle’s face, again going for glory with that uppercut, but that’s a poor effort, and doesn’t cause the brunette any concern, certainly not as much as her damaged eye, the former JMD champion surely on borrowed time now and she fights back desperately, wobbles Helen with a left and a right, and gives her a good one to the body once more, Helen yelping and dropping her left arm, Michelle immediately on it, clubbing Helen’s jaw with a right hook, and another, the blonde reeling backwards, and it’s a left uppercut which puts her on her back in the final minute of the round, the referee standing over her to count – and Helen’s not getting up!  She’s out!
 
Result:  Michelle Keegan knocked out Helen Flanagan in round 8.
 

That was a dramatic finish to a British bloodbath, and both girls are on their stools exhausted after the fight, Michelle probably looking worse than Helen, despite knocking her out.  Michelle Keegan has another win on her record, but every fight she has is becoming a damaging two way event these days as she tries to move up the rankings, a rematch with Ashley Benson being looked at for her next fight.
