Before: Small venue fight, modest payday for two under promoted girl’s who’ve both spent a lot of time sweating it out as sparring partners for higher profile if not more skilled celebs. Bakke more selective, bigger one-shot power--Haiduk a more conventional straight up boxer and effective counter puncher. Bakke in beige push up bra, black boy cut trunks. Haiduk in pale blue sports bra, white boy cut trunks.

During R1: Haiduk right down to business, going to Bakke’s body with a double tap left hook then upstairs with cracking lefts and rights--Bakke stupefied to begin the bout as she wobbles away in a haze. Stacy methodical in pursuit, banging away with the jab on Brenda’s eyes, kissing short right crosses off the mouth--BB just doesn’t have any answers, Stumbling in swoon, Bakke attempts to clinch at the bell--Haiduk with ba tight right uppercut, clouting right on the ear, sidesteps as Bakke plunges face first to the ropes, Scored 10-8 with no knockdown as Haiduk tears Bakke up badly with accurate power from both fists.

R2,3: Haiduk returning to the form chary, working behind her jab--ice blue eyes staring at her foe’s sleepy face as Bakke breaks down., Brenda eating straight one-twos throughout, but she’s taking  the punishment well, sliding back occasionally and timing the odd right hand down the pike herself, single potshots not getting done for Bakke--Haiduk’s sharp combinations and deft ring generalship featuring through 3.

R4: Brenda showing her economical power this round, clipping in to bounce hard right hands off Haiduk’s ribs as the brunette punches over the top, Haiduk on her bicycle--Bakke’s punches sounding out hollow and loud against the body when they land--Stacy keeps her distance, loses her first round.

R5: Haiduk reasserting control, circles her jab, stepping in with biting combinations to overwhelm Bakke in most of the exchanges, Brenda unable to find Haiduk’s head, still working the torso with heavy, but infrequent straight right hands.

R6: Bakke hunting solar plexus with relentless right hands, mixes in the left hook to good effect as Haiduk starts to scuff up. Stacy flat footed, crumpling slightly bas Bakke drives into her midsection, and those hooks have Haiduk stumbling towards the end of the round. Stacy answering back with flashy combinations at points, but Bakke clearly doing all the damage this round.

R7: Bakke stays on top, walking her foe down, hurting Haiduk with the sinking right hand lead, then busting her up with lefts and right upstairs to force the weary retreat. Haiduk looking pained, spending more and more time bent over her legs, slipping and avoiding contact rather than initiating it. Round to Brenda.

R8: Bakke the aggressor again, but midway through the round, Haiduk puts her head down, butts Brenda hard in the sternum as Bakke plows forward and the brunette is rocked off balance. Haiduk quick to transition, swats the left hook, sharp right cross to chase Brenda to her backside, Brenda up at 8, and anxious to close strong but Haiduk steps around, timing the jab to the eyes, easily avoiding further meaningful contact. Bakke complaining about the lowered head of  Haiduk to an uncaring ref during the break.

R9: Haiduk stands her ground and gives as good as she gets as the crowd roars--both girls banging 2 and 3 sharp punches off one another’s faces in sold 2-way action., Bakke blinks down the stretch--Haiduk doubling up a pawing lead right gets Brenda moving backward and walking lefts and right put Brenda’s butt on the ropes. Heartless digging in behind the right elbow has Brenda hurting and weak kneed at the bell as Haiduk bellows in triumph, glaring at her reeling opponent.

R10: Haiduk stepping up to the plate, goes right back to the liver with multiple hooks, dipping her shoulder and pumping it in as Bakke covers up midring. Innocent left hook counter on the chin brings Stacy up short--she’s stunned! Bakke reloading, gets her body behind a brutal short right hand through the point of Haiduk’s chin--Stacy goes right out on her feet, chin lolling to her chest--Bakke misses a wild sweeping left hand as Haiduk crashes straight back to lay belly up, hands high above her head--this fight is SO over, KO10 Brenda Bakke,

After: Stunning reversal as Haiduk’s sharp punching seemed to have pounded Bakke into compliance, when the sultry brunette drove a freight train into Stacy’s chin o end it. Haiduk out for many anxious minutes as Bakke coolly exits without fanfare. “When you knock a girl out,” says the veteran in post fight, “:try and make it look like you’ve done it before.”
