Yvonne Strahovski versus Charlize Theron

BEFORE: The match was previously set for a match between Yvonne Strahovski and Melissa George in the Yvonne Strahovski's hometown of Sydney, Australia. However, the night before, Melissa's camp reported coming down with a stomach virus after celebrating with friends in Perth. Paparazzi are quick to report pictures of George sharing drinks with Charlize Theron and the rumor mill goes wild, especially after Theron quickly volunteers to be a replacement bout between the two as she just “happened to be in the neighborhood.” Given the shared history between Yvonne and Charlize, as well as the unprecedented level of success Strahovski has previously had against Theron, it's simply too much of a coincidence for most to ignore. But, the league is eager to take advantage of the poster fight between two of the top blondes in the sport and books it instantly!

When pressed, Charlize just smirks, “I can't tell you what happened to Melissa. Nerves I would guess. Some people can't handle it. Going up against Yvonne, one of the best lightweights in the freaking world, in her hometown, would intimidate a lot of girls I would imagine. Not me. I've heard a lot of talk this year about how I should retire, but when I do pass on the torch, it'll be because I want to and not because any jealous blonde rips it from my hand. Yvonne is just one of many blondes who want to be where I'm at and are trying to get an opportunity to sit on my throne, but I'm the queen around here and Yvonne is just going to end up being my footstool. Australia will just get to be the first to bear witness to why I'm the best – EVER – not Yvonne!”

Strahovski smiling as she steps to the podium, though her eyes flash a bit upon hearing Charlize's remarks relayed to her, “When you beat a girl three times in a row, you're in their head. Fighters tend to do desperate things. I don't know whether her particular brand of craziness extends to spiking Melissa's drink, but if Charlize is THAT desperate to get her butt owned by me again, then I'm happy to freaking oblige. I'm here in front of the greatest fans in the world because I want to show them that I'm not anybody's stepping stone, foot stool or punching bag. I'm the queen at lightweight now and tonight, when I put the final nail in the coffin in the Best-of-Seven rivalry between me and Charlize, she is going to have to admit it! 4 and freaking 0, baby!”

Yvonne in a metallic blue bikini with matching gloves and hair in a fighting ponytail; Charlize in a white bikini with golden trim with matching gloves and blonde hair in a fighting ponytail of her own. Both fighters definitely have their supporters, though it's a very pro-Yvonne crowd with a predominantly Australian crowd here tonight to witness what they hope is history being made. Both Yvonne and Charlize engaging in a staredown in the middle of the ring, neither of them willing to back down until they touch gloves and ref orders them – several times – to the other side of the ring and the two of them reluctantly comply.

DURING R1: Yvonne sliding into position with those long legs of hers, looking determined as she stamps out straight right-left combinations against Theron's raised guard. Charlize defensive; blocking; answering to check Strahovski with slinging right crosses that catch her across her cheek. Both girls with rangy action on display as they rotate in a leggy, but tight, clockwise rotation. Both tall women extremely energetic - Yvonne keeps stabbing at Theron's torso and Charlize doubles up to Strahovski's chest; both pivoting left. It's a close round, but Strahovski the slightly busier, slightly more effective vixen, while Theron, though unhurt, is unfortunately out-worked.

R2: It's an energetic and up-tempo pace again in the second, both rangy fighters rotating into position, pivoting clockwise, maintaining aggressive work rates. Strahovski gracefully gliding left jabbing Theron's upper body, hooking her down below, sticking in rights up the middle to her chest and face. Theron bobbing and weaving, forcing her way inside to time Strahovski for uppercuts with either hand; keeps clouting her with hooks to her firm tummy and those annoying Aussie tits. Yvonne pressing forward, retaking lost ground behind the jab as she keeps jabbing Theron's body to prove herself the busier blonde as she takes the round, and again it's close.

R3: Theron takes charge in the third as she comes forward behind a wide stance, keeping Strahovski at bay shooting out straight, stiff, jabs. In the second minute, Charlize comes up over the top with a sweeping, slow hook that Strahovski is easily able to duck, but leaves herself exposed for a right that Theron BURIES in Yvonne's ribcage! Yvonne's legs buckle, her face pinched in distress as she backs away. Theron takes advantage, closing as she walks her foe to the ropes and works her over. Theron leaning in, lanky and aggressive, snapping out sinewy, strappy, left and rights to hammer Yvonne's taut torso. Theron showing her power as she lifts in the leather, with loud thudding blows that leave Strahovski breathless on one knee at the bell hugging her bright red abs.

R4: Yvonne out surging forward, strafing Theron with a swift right hand early to lock up Theron's lovely legs and force her to back up against the ropes to regroup. The first minute is a savage beatdown by Strahovski on Theron; Yvonne just batting away to Theron's torso and flanks leaving her rival in a pretty bad way. The second minute Theron rallies as she slugs her way off of the ropes with desperation uppercuts and slugging rights to blonde breadbasket. Strahovski maintains her position behind a high guard, then leans forward to get her weight behind stiff rights to Theron's cheek that daze her. In the third minute, it's hammer and tongs by both fighters with Strahovski staying in good position atop Theron, making her take weight as she scores with slinging rights and lefts. Theron fighting well off of the ropes, dipping side to side and scoring with brutal hooks to the body which prevents Strahovski from running away with the round.

R5: Theron showing savvy and fitness, coming out strong behind a rangy and effective jab to the chest to keep Strahovski back on her heels by targeting her tits... hard! Theron pushing Strahovski backward in retreat, then with Yvonne on her heels, Theron over the top with a spearing right that swivels her head and body! Strahovski staggering away from the pain, clinches; bogging Theron down. But Theron not to be denied, charges forward with two crashing left uppercuts and wide right hands to torso that have Strahovski sprawled on the ropes. Theron taking control in the fifth, pounding away to blonde abs to leave Yvonne moaning in agony, blinking in obvious pain, at the bell.

R6: Theron starting to establish a psychological edge with her advantage in power, continuing to punch as, from the start of the round, she nails Strahovski with a beautifully timed right hand that puts Strahovski wobbly-butt! Theron pounces forward, making Yvonne take her weight as Strahovski sits butt-in-ropes. Even hurt, though, Yvonne fires back with slugging rights and lefts to keep Theron's defenses busy. Theron takes charge down the stretch as she measures Strahovski with a big left across her abs, then leans into two right hands to her cheek to leave Strahovski swooning at the bell once more.

R7: Bouyed by the cheers of her countrymen, Strahovski fights back with proud determination, but Theron stays with her plan, working hard behind her jab, cutting off the ring with her legs, digging in with those short left uppercuts to Yvonne's body. Yvonne doubling over, groaning as Theron's offense body attack sets up a hard ringing right to chin that has Strahovski dropped to one knee in the opening minute. Theron stays aggressive, but Strahovski has rallied well at the halfway point, using her own wiry legs to stay outside loping around the perimeter working her jab. Theron steadfast and focused in pursuit, walking Strahovski down, looking to slow the younger woman's sleek chassis with thudding, heavy strokes that once again has Yvonne slumping against the ropes throbbing as the round comes to a close.

R8: Yvonne gamely trying to retake the initiative, gets her legs back under her, loping around Theron as she pumps in spearing jabs to the midsection, or side-stepping to throw hard off the pivot! Yvonne feinting, directing Theron's attention low, then surprising her with crashing right and left hooks to Charlize's face. Charlize dazed by the flurry of lanky lefts and straight rights, but Theron's proving surprisingly sturdy, although slowing a bit under Aussie's furious offense. Theron bending low, face-in-gloves, plenty of head movement but exposes her mid-section and Yvonne slugs away with aggressive rights and lefts whenever there's an opening. Yvonne finally outboxing Theron this round, fighting hard as she fights her way back into the match. When the two blondes are separated at the bell – both are showing the effects of the hard battle and are breathing hard.

R9: Yvonne again coming forward with determination, frustrating Theron with her sneaky tummy jabbing, then pivoting around to hook the body with brutal, thudding punches. Theron fighting back with determination, though increasingly defensive, not throwing as many right hands as she jabs behind raised gloves. Strahovski taking ground, inch by inch, rights to tummy and lefts hooking tits batter Theron's firm blonde body. Theron mouth-breathing, her aging body showing the effects of Strahovski's slashing body attack. Yvonne surging; making Theron take her weight with her back on the ropes, Aussie snarling as she just bullies Theron backward and pounds away to blonde tummy.
Charlize's belly open for the taking and Strahovski scoops up that tummy with rapid-fire rights and lefts; chug-chug-chugging away with both fists. DOWN GOES THERON! Charlize desperately protecting her tummy when Yvonne suddenly switches up and scores with a hammer hard right-left combo that flattens both tits! Theron flinches in pain, hands reacting late, and Yvonne catches her with a sneaky left cross that drops Charlize sprawling onto her butt with a thud along the ropes! Yvonne steps back, hands raised as the ref begins to count. But Theron is saved by the bell and Yvonne - outraged at being cheated out of her 'righteous' victory - chests up to her as Theron staggers to her feet, one hand holding the ropes for support. The ref has to separate them as Strahovski bellows in Charlize's face, spitting out her mouthguard and screaming, “FOUR! FOUR! FOUR!” at her as she's being dragged forcefully toward her corner. So close yet so far with just one round left to go!

R10: Yvonne comes forward, shooting towards her blonde rival on a mission, but then again, so is Charlize! It all comes down to one final round between two of the top blondes in the league. Both of them charging at one another as they each hop forward; Yvonne launching a hard right hook over the top. Charlize ducks underneath it and manages to connect first with a looping right uppercut that knocks her backward with a loud CRACK that echoes in the hushed arena. Yvonne's head is whipped backward in shock, sweat spraying off of her; the devastating impact leaving Strahovski blinking glassy-eyed, staggering off balance and wobbly-butt. Theron's eyes are flashing with renewed determination as she rips body blows to Yvonne's abs to buckle her legs; Strahovski struggling to stay upright.

Midway through the round, Yvonne backpedaling, fighting in retreat still swinging furiously as she hammers at Charlize who has her guard up against possible knockout blows. Once again, it's Theron with the mental edge as she pounces to feint Strahovski out of position and deliver a stunning right that connects across Strahovski's cheek. Groggy, Yvonne falls forward to clinch and Theron quickly bodies up against her rival, using her forearm to straighten Yvonne up before setting up shop for a series of hard right-left combinations to the body. Strahovski mouth-breathing hard, clutching her bruised abs as she slumps and almost goes to her knees sideways across Theron's thighs, her cheek against Theron's hip. Even then, her eyes closing, blonde hair matted to her face as she struggles to straighten up, Yvonne stubbornly throws a wild right, only to be stopped by another right to her tummy that leaves her gurgling and crumbling down toward her knees once more.

The ref considers stepping in, but a hard-eyed look from Theron stops him in his tracks. Charlize chests up against Yvonne, wrapping her up in her arms as she straightens her upright, cradling her almost sweetly, but not for long! Charlize just ragdolls Strahovski back onto the ropes – then Theron pushes off all big girl to deliver a brutal right hook that cracks onto her cheek to send Yvonne Strahovski corkscrewing down to the canvas! Yvonne perpendicular to the ropes, sprawled out on her back, face wearing an expression of stunned shock! Theron standing over her, plants a foot down firmly on Yvonne's sweaty, heaving chest as soon as it's clear Strahovski can't beat the count. Charlize Theron comes back for the win in redemptive fashion via KO10!

AFTER: Theron raising her arms in victory, tears of joy mingling with the sweat pouring down her face and dripping onto her heaving bosom as she stands over the vanquished blonde at her feet. Slowly, she turns and trudges slowly back to her corner where her seconds remove her gloves and douse her with water, further turning her sweat drenched white bikini nearly translucent under the bright lights.

Glaring intently across the ring into the Australian's corner, Charlize waits until they have Strahovski sitting on her stool, her battered body slumped forward with her elbows on her knees, her glazed eyes still unfocused. It's the perfect time...

She strides quickly over and as she's reaching for Strahovski with her left hand, Yvonne weakly raises her right glove to block. Charlize easily swats it aside and closes her taped fist on the metallic blue cloth between Straho's cups, using it to yank her to her feet. Yvonne gives a bleat of protest as her still-gloved hands grab her chest just in time to cover her breasts as her top slides up her glistening-with-sweat chest.

In this pose, Yvonne is helpless to resist or struggle against Theron's insistent tugging at her as she leads her in slow, humiliating, walk-of-shame around the ring; pausing at each corner to show off her trophy to the irate and booing Australian crowd. When she's completed the circuit, Charlize returns Yvonne to her corner, pushing her face first into the ropes and giving her firm bottom a hard SPANK before she struts proudly back to her corner.

LATER:
Facing the media, Charlize can't stop grinning as she described “how good it felt punching Yvonne tonight.” Theron credited her increased punching power to the time she's spent fighting welterweights. “You get in the ring with big women like McMahon, Henstridge, Rihanna, Bell, Freeman and Gena Lee Nolin, you better be able to punch.

“I've trained hard to be competitive at welter and added muscle. Like everyone in the FCBA, I've been intrigued by these JMD/D fights. I tried a few, and while I can make welterweight for them, I'm not really interested in doing many. I'm still a lightweight where it really counts,” she grinned, looking down selfconsciously at her small bosom.

When asked by an Aussie reporter, “Will you fight Strahovski again?” Charlize smiled and nodded.

“She's still ahead in our head-to-head, so of course I'd like to beat her a few more times. But you'll have to ask her. Tonight's result was a wake-up call for Yvonne, she can't take me for granted any longer. But I'd fight her any time, anywhere with any rules she wants. What lightweight wouldn't jump at the chance to add Strahovski to her list of conquests? She's one of the best in the world and a real competitor wants to fight, and beat, the best there is.”
