Blake Lively* v Kelly Brook
(*Lightweight title) Result:Lookout/Words:Simgrrl
This bout takes place in Los Angeles, California.

Tale of the tape:
Champion: Blake Lively, 5'10”, 19-21-0 w/16 KOs, 28 y/o.
Challenger: Kelly Brook: 5'8”, 36-52-5 w/25 KOs, 36 y/o.

Before: In three previous fights, Kelly Brook has gone 3-0 against Lively (2010, KO8; 2011, KO8 @ Ice Hotel; and 2012, KO6!) After the third loss, Blake was not only JMD'd by Brook, she was then fired by her stable owner, Jeri Ryan who - interestingly enough - is now Lively's trainer at Ginny's Academy! And Brook's not shy letting fans know she intends to keep her winning streak going!

“Lively's tried three times in three different years and they all ended with the same result, her on her tight little ass looking up and wondering what happened. This time isn't going to be any different. Sure, she's the chump....er, I mean 'champ'... now, but that just reflects badly on the women she fought to get where she is rather than on her own talent. I'm predicting this one doesn't last more than six rounds.”

Lively red-faced and breathing hard as she takes the podium after a brief scuffle at the weigh-in after Kelly's brazen prediction and the obligatory intervention of her trainer Jeri Ryan to hold her back when she appeared to want to throw down with Brook right then and there.

“She's always been a big talker,” Blake huffs indignantly, her eyes flashing as she glares at the smirking Brook in the back of the room. “But she usually can't back up her talk with her fists. I think her winning percentage is about 40% - hardly championship contender material. So that begs the question 'Why'd I give her this title fight?' Obviously, the answer is it was the only way I could get her in the ring again. Ever since I started my comeback, she's been 'unavailable' or 'out of town' whenever my people called trying to get another fight.

“But that's one of the perks of being the champion, people aren't so eager to duck my calls now. The chance to win a title, even for a washed up has-been like Brook is too much to turn down. Well, I've got her where I want her now and she's not getting away!”

Brook just shrugged when asked if she had a response. “I'll do my talking in the ring,” she hissed as she exited with her entourage.

Lively in Kelly Green bikini, golden blonde hair in a French Twist, red gloves; Brook in white thong bikini, hair held back off her face with a white scrunchie, white gloves.

During R1: Lively chesting up to Brook during the instructions and is quick out of her corner to continue to harass Kelly with a blistering opening salvo that puts the buxom brunette back on her heels from the jump! Left hook hurts Brook who crouches butt-in-ropes as Lively bodies up to work the torso, heaving in heavy lefts and whistling rights behind the elbows, then coming up the middle with a series of uppercuts that have Brook's boobies bouncing around wildly. Fans eating it up as Blake Lively puts on a body attack clinic for the first two minutes of the fight.
Final minute the action swings back and forth after Kelly furiously battles her way off the strands behind the same big right hand that has stopped Lively in all three of their fights! Lively grudgingly giving ground as Brook battles forward....and runs into a counter left hook that buckles her knees! Lively retaking control, bashing Brook back onto the ropes where Blake goes to the body with willful malevolence til' the referee steps in at the bell to stop it. Blake wins the round on points (wide).

R2: Lively out to consolidate her gains and early on it looks like she will. Brook being beaten to the punch time and again as Blake glides gracefully around the ring, circling to her left behind a snapping jab then dropping her right over Kelly's pawing left to rock her back on her heels! Midway, Brook up-tempos as Lively begins to fade and finds herself able to get to Lively's lithe body often. Kelly repeating her winning recipe from their early fights, pounding her way thru Blake's defensive perimeter to set up shop belly-on-belly. Brook no stranger to 'veteran tricks' and lands the occasional elbow to Lively's “jubblies” to put a wince of pain on the blonde's pretty face! Blake answering Brook's fouls with combinations - either left-right criss-cross puppy punching, or inside uppercuts. And Lively's not above an elbow or two of her own, either! At the bell, referee has to pry them apart as neither is willing to stop punching. Kelly wins points (close) thanks to landing more effective blows.

R3: More of the same! Both fighters having tasted some success in the second, back out following the same game plan. Brook finding success with a more up-tempo attack when she can get close; Lively connecting with combinations from long range. Neither fighter looking hurt at any point, but neither is able to establish her dominance for any length of time. Lots of back-and-forth, crowd-pleasing, trading as - again - the referee has to pull them apart at the bell to give them a stern talking-to about hitting after the bell. (Neither woman impressed by the warning, but it's Blake who gets the points, close).

R4: As if to prove she can't be cowed, Kelly rampages in the opening minute of round #4, leaping into Lively, wrapping her up and body slamming her back into her corner where she stands her up for an old fashioned body beating! Lively's wiry body taking awful abuse for a good minute or more before she escapes to lope around the ring trying to catch her breath while an arm weary Brook slowly walks her down trying unsuccessfully to cut off the ring. Once they square up, however, it's a donnybrook as both unleash on the other at long range, each landing so many heavyweight bombs on the other that it forces them to clinch and they prop one another up! Fans shouting advice to both and the closing seconds find Brook working over Lively's body while Blake is head-hunting and each has her moments. This time when the bell rings, both fighters arms fall limp at their sides and they bump shoulders as they each stagger exhausted to their corners. Kelly's early explosion enough to win her the round, but it's close!

R5: Between rounds both corners exhorting - almost pleading - their fighters to “end it now.” And they seem to take the advice to heart as both come out behind stiff jabs to throw wild, overhand rights that land with concussive impacts. First Blake staggers Brook, then Kelly lands a right to the side of Lively's head that buckles her knees. A left-right combo by Brook and DOWN GOES THE CHAMP! Lively bouncing on her butt as Brook powers a straight right between the eyes to sit her down hard! As Kelly Brook bounces away with hands raised, Lively sits staring blankly at the brunette's retreating butt cheeks while the referee picks up the count! Blake rolls over on all fours and drags herself up by the ropes, just making it upright by eight. Referee checks the blonde out, then waves Brook over to resume.
Lively backpedaling in retreat to buy time behind her extended hands in a classic 'don't hurt me' defense.
Kelly overanxious, missing badly as she swings wildly lunging forward, not setting her feet to get her body into her punches. The blond champ scuffed up and buffeted from foot to foot, but manages to remain on her feet as she continues to run away trying to clear her head as Brook misses a golden opportunity to put the badly hurt champ away in her eagerness to put Lively down for the count.
Lively showing her recouperative powers as Brook is simply unable to catch her and once Blake gets her head back in the game, she stops running and stands to fight!
The final minute is all about the champion putting on a clinic; pumping her jab in Kelly Brook's face like a jackhammer; tucking her left hook in under Brook's overhand rights; and dropping her right down over Kelly's pawing left as Blake takes command, driving Brook backward before her onslaught. In the closing seconds, that overhand right scores big time for Blake when she pounds paunch with a whistling left and then with Brook folded forward, Lively drops the right flush on the side of her jaw! The brunette challenger plows facefirst into the canvas and lays sprawled with her right glove under her face....not moving. Lively bounds away with a triumphant cry, arms raised... but the bell rings before the count gets past five and Brook's seconds scramble into the ring to rescue their fighter. Huge comeback knockdown in the closing seconds turns what had looked like a solid Brook round up to that point, into a toss-up.

R6: Brook's corner working frantically to resuscitate their girl during the break and while Kelly's not all the way back, she's on her feet at the bell and after a long look by the referee, he lets it continue. As it turns out, that decision may have been a mistake! Lively comes out and punishes Kelly Brook with three left hands and then rocks her with a right sending her reeling back onto the ropes! As Brook crouches behind her gloves, Lively hammers her body with lefts and rights, just teeing off on the nearly defenseless brunette. When the referee breaks them apart, he again checks Kelly's condition, but she holds up her gloves and nods that she's OK.
Lively hurries over and lands a straight left and then a right uppercut that buckles Brook's legs. A second, straight right sends Kelly crashing onto her back! Blake stumbles forward over Brook's stretched out form as the referee is already waving his hands overhead ending Kelly Brook's night and her dreams of the lightweight title belt around her waist! Blake Lively wins a KO6 and retains her FCBA Lightweight Championship!

After: Blake after doffing her gloves, swaggers across the ring to Kelly's corner where she pauses to put her hand on Brook's bowed head while she talks briefly with Brook's seconds, then turns and walks back to her corner, never having uttered a word to Kelly herself who is obviously in no shape to converese with Blake... or anyone else.

Later, Lively would tell reporters in response to their inquiries, “I gave Brook's people a message for her when she wakes up later. I told them, 'Tell her she's beaten me for the last time. If she ever gets in the ring with me again, what I did to her tonight will seem like a walk in the park.' She's lorded it over me for years, but she's old news now, this is my time and no washed up old has-been brunette is going to take this away from me,” she said, holding up the lightweight strap.

Brook appeared only briefly, just long enough to mumble some nonsense about being caught with a lucky punch and adding, “Next time will be different.”
